About: Hi! My name is Kayla and I am a dog-loving recently unemployed human hoping to take care of your pup while I try to find a new job. I’ve loved dogs since I was a kid and have experience. I had a 16 yr old chihuahua that gave me experience with senior dogs that are not as friendly and I currently have an 8 year old cavalier/yorkie and a 3 year old golden retriever. Whatever your pup is like and needs from me, I hope you can trust me to care for them as my own! I am pretty flexible so I can work with you on your needs as a fur parent and have a car to travel easily with. Since I live alone and in my own home, I’m more into house sitting but if the weather is nice and with your permission, I do have a gated backyard so I can bring your baby over to chill outside comfortably in the sun. My golden retreiver loves to play with friends and my cavalier would just sit alone somewhere haha. I’m excited to hear from you! I am currently unemployed so everyday can be different to tailor to your pet’s needs. Typically my routine is let the dogs enjoy the backyard and giving lots of cuddles or playtime. I have 2 very friendly calm dogs that work well with any pet. I have a 2 bedroom house with a good amount of space and a fenced in yard.

Chloe was a wonderful sitter! I boarded my 13 year old dachshund Jaco with her for a weekend and she and her bf made him feel right at home. He can sometimes be moody but Chloe made him feel nice and comfortable in her home, she already had treats based on Jaco’s preferences and also made sure he enjoyed plenty of sun in her backyard and around the neighborhood. I would 10/10 book with Chloe again!
Camilly and her family were amazing. They puppy sat for me while I helped my daughter move into her dorm out of state. Camilly kept me updated with text and photos daily. My puppy even gave her little goodbye kisses. Okoye was extremely comfortable with Camilly and I will definitely book with her again in the future.
Rosemary is simply amazing. She checks in at least once a day. She is quick to respond for any questions. She is very patient & makes sure Melanie is always comfortable, eating & having fun. If I am ever gone for an extended period of time, I know Melanie will be safe with Rosemary. & on Melanie’s last stay, my flight was delayed & getting in really late, Rosemary was so accommodating & kept Melanie one more night. So grateful.
Dana and his partner Nia were kind and caring to my beloved pup. They kept me updated with daily pictures. Their home is perfectly set up for dogs and I could tell my dog was at ease with them almost immediately. Dana is a little far from our home so I might need someone closer next time as we don’t have a car. Other than the distance I would be 100% sure on booking with Dana again.
Daniel and his dog Annie were a wonderful match for our dog, Tegan. He even arranged a meet-up beforehand so the dogs could get to know each other, which gave us peace of mind. During Tegan’s stay, Daniel sent daily updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Tegan usually takes a day or two to settle in and start eating when she’s in a new environment, but with Daniel and Annie she felt right at home from the start. We’ll definitely ask Daniel to watch Tegan again in the future!
Anthony is fantastic! I needed a last-minute dog sitter and contacted him — he responded within minutes. He immediately put me at ease, and I felt completely comfortable leaving my pup in his care. He sent photo updates every night and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Anthony is now my go-to sitter!
Our very shy dog did great with Alana! She stayed for 3 nights and everything went well. Alana is easy to work with, tried to get Dori to walk (easier said than done), and was very communicative. She has a great yard for running around and even let Dori hang out on the couch with her. Will be rebooking!!
Lyv and Alieu were amazing! It was Monty's first Rover experience/first time staying overnight with new people, and he's still adapting to life outside the shelter, so naturally, we were a bit nervous. Lyv was very communicative the entire weekend, and it was very apparent that they have a ton of experience with all types of dogs. Monty is very finicky, and we know he can be a difficult house guest at times, but it was clear that Lyv adapted quickly to his needs and read his emotions very well. Monty had a bit of a tough time one night, but Lyv communicated with me immediately and was so kind and understanding about his less-than-ideal behavior. As a first-time dog mom with an anxious dog who is still exhibiting new behaviors randomly, I really appreciated Lyv's kindness, care, and compassion.
