About: I’ve had dogs growing up and now have two of my own. I have a large unfenced yard, my dogs are allowed to cuddle with me on the couch, and they sleep in bed with me if they want to. I treat them like family because that’s what they are! You can rest easy knowing your pup will have lots and lots of love and playtime. Every day we go for a walk, to the park, or play outside together. There’s a dog park right down the street from my house which is super convenient! We would love to welcome your pup into our home. I’m also a runner so if your dog wants to come with me even better! We look forward to meeting you!

“It was a pleasure working with Terah. She was great with Ollie.”
6. Abby G.
“I lived with Abby for over 3 years after meeting in the dog park, and she was always a huge help in taking care of my pug. She would take him on frequent bathroom breaks and walks, play with him, and give him lots of snuggles. She kept him for me when I was out of town and would always ensure he got his medicine. She treated my dog as if he were her own. Abby has always had a great love for dogs and treats them like family. She would be a great dog sitter!”

About: I’ve cared for animals for years. I had a diabetic dog and had to administer shots. I’ve also given seizure Medication. I’m active for walks and can also work work with people who are going out of town last minute and need a sitter. I am typically available every weekday afternoon for someone looking for longtime Care to drop in or take walks. I’m also available anytime on the weekends to stay overnight or as needed. I don’t provide dogs to stay at my home. I live at an apartment where I would not be allowed to have another dog on the premises.

About: I grew up always being around dogs, from terriers to German Shepherds. I was the go-to person for my family and coworkers when it came to caring and walking their pets. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about a year, so I have a lot of experience handling all shapes and sizes of pups! I’m looking to walk a few dogs before I begin pursuing my Bachelor’s next fall. I’m currently finishing up my AA, which means that I’m mostly only available during the summer. I work mornings from 8am-12pm. Beyond that, I try to be very flexible! I am currently not offering to host animals in my home. If that changes in the future, however, I have a very friendly dog and four cats with a fenced-in yard. When entering someone else’s home, my primary goal is to be respectful and safe. I will work with you to set clear boundaries and expectations for the care of your pets, and I will do my best to meet those expectations. I am offering drop-ins, but I will only consider staying overnight on a case-to-case basis.
16. Lydia T.
About: Neighborhood pet sitter in Davenport, IA. Experience with dogs young and old, and varying breeds. Able to give medication & other accommodations Also experienced cat owner / sitter. Have worked with some fish and other small animals. I work full time 9-5:30 with an hour lunch break. Happy to stop by during that time as well as before and after work. Weekend availability varies, but I’m relatively open. I usually stay in-home, but I have had dogs stay with me. I will let the owners tell me the dog’s routine, and I adjust accordingly. Dogs with higher energy have different needs than elderly dogs, so I try to be sensitive to that. Potty breaks and walks are usually slated into my plan of care, but always open to hear special requests.
17. Brock I.
“Brock was amazing! My pets were comfortable, happy and well taken care of! Wonderful animal care is priceless! I have already rebooked for my next trip!”
18. Mariah B.
“Mariah is AMAZING. She’s watched over my babies (3 chihuahuas) every time that I’ve gone on vacation for the last 5 years. I specifically schedule my vacations around hers so that she can be the one to take care of them while I’m gone!”
19. Anna-Lena D.
About: Hi I am Anna. I have had pets my whole life ranging from birds to dogs and cats to horses and more! Did you know that a 30 minute walk can help your dog stay healthy and keep them from being too rambunctious in your house? If you don’t have time let me help you! I have experience with small and large breeds. My fur babies are a Doberman named Cece and a MinPin named Coco. If walking your dog is something you are interested in me doing I would love to set up a meet and greet that will take 15-20 minutes of your time where I can properly introduce myself to your dog and we can take a short walk together so I can see if they are comfortable with me. Not every dog likes every person and what is most important is that you find a walker that your dog is comfortable with. If we get along great the first time around I can start walking on my own or I might recommend another walk with you before I take your fur baby out on my own just to make sure not to cause any anxiety. As for in home care I am willing and able to take care of any cats or dogs size and age do not matter. I would love to make sure your pet is comfortable with me so a meet and greet is required and if you are extra worried I am willing to do more than one to make you and your pet feel comfortable. Over night stays at my house will be the same. Your dog must be cat friendly if they are staying more than 2 days. I can lock my cats up in the basement but don’t have the heart to do that for more than 2 days. I habe a Doberman and a Miniature Pincher both dogs end up being friendly after a meeting not on our property. We would meet and walk them together first and then have your dog end up on my property. As long as there is no aggression from any animal I am happy to keep any dog at my house. If your pet has any extra needs like medications or specific feeding I have experience with a lot. My chihuahua mix had Cancer and Congestive Heart failure and I administered medication in many forms he also had a special food diet. I have given subdermal fluids and shots to my pets.
20. Bethany V.
“Bethany has 4 pets of her own which she takes great care of. She also has shown great affection and love to my pet dog when she had her in her company. I would not hesitate in recommending her for any type of Animal sitter role, whether short or long term.”
