Callie stood out to me as when she come over for the interview she had treats with her and my dog fell in love with her instantly! Although it was difficult for me to leave my dog I felt the love Callie had for dogs and it put my mind at ease. She took many pictures of my baby to show she was fine. She took her for a nice long walk which I know Coco loved. I couldn’t be happier!”

You could tell right off what a pet lover he was. He asked many good questions at the meet and greet, was punctual and handled Annie’s energy well on a leash. Colin sent me pictures and multiple daily updates on how she was doing. Giving her daily meds, tennis ball play times and long walks to help with her anxiety were part of a daily routine. “I would highly recommend Melissa to anyone and will absolutely be using her again for future bookings! She took great care of mine and my sister's dogs and was very attentive to their needs! My dog is high anxiety and my sister's dog is an old lady with very particular and sometimes difficult eating habits, but we felt at ease knowing she was taking care of them. She sent photos through the day, as well as a couple of updates each day. She did ask for my preference for how I would like to receive updates, including how often. She was very accommodating!! Lastly, the house was left nice and clean, which was great to come home to after a week away!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I could walk! I’ve had pet dogs, cats and fish for my whole life. I also have chickens! My main goal is to provide safe and effective care so that your pet feels comfortable in their own space. I love rewarding good behavior with pets, playtime, and healthy treats! Right now, I only work 2 nights a week while studying for my NCLEX nursing exam. This seems like the perfect time to fit some furry friends into my schedule! I have a fenced in yard for my dogs and I walk them on a leash. They also enjoy off-leash hiking when we get the chance. For dog walking services I will be keeping your dog leashed the entire time unless you have a fenced in yard. For house sitting, the same rule applies. I love to reward good behavior with pets, playtime and any provided treats!
