About: Hi, I’m Sharon! Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them has always been one of my greatest joys. I raised service dogs for 10 years, which taught me the patience, consistency, and love that goes into training and caring for animals. I started pet sitting 10 years ago and quickly discovered how much I loved being the person families could rely on when they needed someone trustworthy for their pets. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all sizes—from tiny lap dogs to large working breeds—as well as cats, chickens, horses, and more. Every animal has their own personality, and I enjoy getting to know them and building that special bond. I work remotely and set my own schedule, which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. While I do work in sales and occasionally need to travel up to an hour away for meetings, I can usually adjust my day to fit a pet’s routine. This means I’m available for early morning walks, afternoon visits when I return home, and evening care as well. If I do have to step out for a few hours, I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and love before and after. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow their routine as closely as possible so pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding at their usual times, keeping to their walking schedule, playtime, and any special instructions such as medication or crate training. I treat every home with respect and make sure pets are safe, happy, and given lots of attention while their family is away. When pets are in my care, I focus on creating a calm, loving environment. About: I grew up here in Northern California with many different loyal pet dogs. After high school I joined the Army and got out of active duty in 2017. Long story short I moved to Alaska with my pet dog from Yuba City where I learned to be a dog musher and she learned to be sled dog. My fence is a secure 6 feet high chain link fence. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and I always will, they’re the absolute best! When I turned 16 I became a puppy and dogsitter for many family friends as well. I know that a happy dog is a tired dog and I strive to do that even with my own puppy and yours will get the same treatment! About: Important: Rover wont let me change it but i cant watch animals at my home due to landlords policy.I have taken care of birds, rodents, dogs, cats and reptiles. I love animals and I tend to be a quiet person so animals tend to like that lol. My own pets have been rats, a dog named Sachi, and a hamster named Theodore. I sometimes take care of my roommates lizard, a bearded dragon named Goro. I currently dont have any pets. I have open availability since I am currently unemployed, but I am searching for full time work. I can be up as early as 6am. I usually am wary of things like wires and other electronics, and I never leave food out in the off chance some furry creature might eat it.
