“Kailyn took great care of our pets while we were out of town! She was very communicative and knowledgeable! We have one very big anxious boy who takes forever to get comfortable with new people and he was comfortable within minutes of meeting her!! We also have two outside asocial cats that loved Kailyn too!!!”

“Rosey is just wonderful! She stayed at our house with our two dogs for 5 nights and it couldn’t have gone better! The dogs were super happy - we got pics of them snuggling on the couch and enjoying life. Rosey was prompt, super kind, and trustworthy. We will not hesitate to have her house sit the dogs on future trips! Highly recommend her!”

“Chey was great with our animals, and it was clear she has a lot of experience caring for animals in general. She sent regular updates, and our house was in good order when we returned after a 5-day trip. We would happily recommend Chey to others and plan to use her services in the future.”
About: I've had two family dogs for 9 years, one of which was my sole responsibility (lived with me) for three years. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, & dogs with special dietary needs. I currently only have to physically go to class on average 2-3 times a week for three hours a day maximum. Other than that I am studying and watching lectures from home. My apartment is spacious with pet friendly furniture. My building has a dog park and is also in a very walkable area for nice longer walks. I encourage a regular walk, play, cuddle schedule but am also comfortable entertaining and caring for more sedentary, older dogs.
“James is so great!! Our cat and home were well taken care of- he spent a lot of time at home, and was even happy to book during the holidays. Our cat can be pretty distrusting of new people, and he took the time to get to know her and win her over. He kept up with her routines and checked in with us at least daily.”

“Megan was spectacular, stepping in with very short notice to dog sit my puppy for a week when my original sitter canceled a few days before I left. She took very good care of my dog a provided some very cute photos of the fun they were having”

“Samantha was amazing and Finn loved her! She was incredibly flexible with my travel plans and provided daily updates and pictures while I was away. She also was a great communicator throughout the whole booking process. I can't recommend Samantha enough and Finn is excited for his next visit with her :)”

“Jordan did an excellent job taking care of our two German Shepherds which can at times be challenging because of their energy and stubbornness! She sent regular updates, followed their routine, excellent communication, and our kept the house so neat and tidy! She was also so thoughtful and flexible in her willingness to stay longer if we had issues with our travel back home. We so appreciate this support especially during the holidays. She is an excellent sitter overall and I would highly recommend her!”

Martha Jefferson pet parents share their Rover experiences
Tracy was fantastic with our two dogs, including one puppy. We were visiting Charlottesville to see our son at UVA and desperately needed a night out that wasn't on a cold patio (it's February). Tracy was very responsive, answered all our questions, arrived early, asked all the right questions and did a great job with the pups - regularly sending photos and updates. Would definitely recommend her and will be asking again.
Chelsea did such a great job with Strudel! She was punctual, communicative, and most importantly, Strudel loved her! She was very calming, which worked well with a puppy. It was a longer stay, and she did a great job feeding, walking, and sending us updates. We would absolutely hire her again. Thanks Chelsea!

Britney was amazing! She was available last minute and super flexible with my fiancé and I’s unpredictable schedules. She came for a meet and greet the day prior (also on short notice) and asked thorough questions to get to know my pup Hank! She asked questions throughout her stay which I appreciated and sent me an overview of how he did when she left. I would absolutely recommend her!

Megan stayed with my two kitties for a few days over Christmas. I will 100% be asking her to watch my girls again. She was went above and beyond, sending me pics and updates frequently. She ensured that Lemon and Pepper were cared for. Pepper likes to hide sometimes during mealtimes, but Megan made sure that Pepper didn’t miss a meal, which I so appreciate! I couldn’t recommend her enough! Thank you so much again, Megan!
