“We have a feisty old kitty who is very hard to medicate. Andee has been more successful with medicating her than any other pet sitter we have tried! We are very grateful for Andee’s excellent animal care skills.”

“Shera is a new fav of Ollie and mine! She is throrough, clear with communication and notes after visit and between the pictures and notes and my happy pup when I come home I know he's had the best time with her! She popped in and gave him some love after he had a dog attack and was struggling and again now that he's his happy self and both times I felt super confident she took great care of him!”

“Big thanks to Martha for taking care of my awkward/slightly difficult cats! And for making sure my senior cat got her medicine. She left a detailed account of how her visit went and sent a picture : )”

About: Hi, I’m Bernadette! If your pet needs a hangout sesh, I’m available for walks and drop-in visits! Aside from being a part time dog walker and lifetime pet owner, I am also a trusted pet sitter for a variety of animals for family, friends, colleagues, and Rover users. My love for animals has put me on a path of fostering and volunteering at animal shelters. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pet(s)! I am working remotely as a freelance graphic designer, which allows me to be flexible and available for dog walking and drop-in services on most days. If given an early notice, I am typically available every weekday from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., but I am always willing to negotiate different times or extended stays if needed. I will respect your pet’s boundaries, behaviors, and environment to ensure they feel as safe and comfortable as possible. I will keep your pet company (so long as they allow me to) and give them all the love, enrichment, and attention as they need!

“My pup was sick today and after only knowing her a day, Mrs Lauren came to the rescue. She helped take care of my girl while I was stuck at work. I am so lucky to have found her!! <3”

About: I grew up with pets and spent years caring for my sweet Chihuahua. I was also that neighborhood kid who fed all the stray cats. I've always had a deep love for animals, and now I'm just looking to spend more time doing what I love! I'm attentive to senior pups who need a slower pace and extra care. And my patient demeanor means that I will be calm and loving to your puppy (no matter what)! I’m a teacher and currently off for summer 2025—with lots of free time that I hope to spend with animals! This means I’m highly flexible and available for last-minute bookings. When caring for pets in your home, I respect your space and follow all of your care instructions exactly, including instructions regarding gates/locks and home security.

About: I have cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. From farm to family and friends'. Strays somehow always find me in my neighborhood. I am so passionate about creatures that I volunteer at the SPCA as a socializer in my free time. I have also cared for elderly & sick animals. Spending time with pets is one of my greatest joys! My schedule is very flexible, allowing me to travel to visits in the area multiple times a day/week as needed. I am centrally located in Midtown. Although your bond with your pet is one of a kind, my goal is to give your pet the same fun, comforting, and safe time as they would have with you. This includes learning their and your preferences for feeding schedules, walking habits (i.e. reactive to other dogs or humans? prefers to poop on dirt rather than grass?), home and public safety of your animal, doing my best to keep toxic and/or forbidden foods out of reach (plants, shoes, charging cables etc), and keeping any door-dashers where they should be. I have experience administering medications to cats and dogs, and in cats, injecting fluids. I respect your home and your privacy. Working with integrity and keeping your trust is very important to me!

About: I have pet sat the small dogs & cats of my friends, their families, and neighbors for a decade+. Pets fill my heart with joy and I love meeting them. I have administered oral medication to pets & am adept at making sure your fur babies are comfortable and loved while you’re away. I am self employed & have time during the week & evenings to walk your pet and make sure their needs are taken care of! Weekends available on a case by case basis. I have my own senior cat to care for, so overnights are not an option. I can come by your home to check on your pets, provide basic care, offer them love and affection, and walk dogs. I do not offer care inside my home.

About: I've been around dogs since I was a young buck. In my early college days I thought it would be a good idea to get a King German Shepard. Haycaramba! I learned the art of taking care of a beast. I currently take care of a few dogs on the regular and I'm looking to expand. Is taking care of your pooch my next adventure? I'm a professional photographer with a flexible schedule. I'm free as long as I don't have a shoot. I wake with the birds and I love to be active. (Let me know if you would like some action or portrait shots with your pup.) I feel like I have a 6th sense when it comes to dogs. I can read their emotions, wants, and needs. If I'm in somebody else's home it's all about respect and integrity. In the winter I work at Sugar Bowl in Village Services. I'm their Lead Steward, I help take care of 140 homes. When I'm with dogs I vibrate with joy, I add respect and most dogs are obedient naturally. Dogs are pros at reading energy.

“Michelle took excellent care of our cats. This included getting the older cat to come for her ear medicine and administering the medicine. We would definitely book her again. Meow!”

About: I’ve taken care of all types of dogs from an Aussie Shepard to the cutest weiner dog. I’m an energized dog walker but am so down for a slow and steady walk. I will dedicate my time to your pet and value them in my schedule. It’s important all animals are valued and kept safe and happy and I can’t wait to help your furry friend. I prioritize the needs of the pets I care for. I never let a pet go hungry or thirsty and am ready for any and all potty breaks.

“Tiffany was great and reliable the whole time she watched my kitties. She communicated, showed up when she said she would and send cute pictures and reviews of her time with them. The cats seemed in good spirits when I returned! Thank you!!”

“Chynna was great with my senior pup that has been dealing with some health issues. They were kind, flexible, and communicative so that I was fully comfortable knowing my dog was taken care of. Would recommend!”

About: I have 15 yrs experience working on farms with all kinds of animals including chickens, cows, pigs, goats, ostriches, and more! I love dogs, especially herding ones. I’m new to town, going back to school for GIS. I have a flexible schedule and love spending time with animals. I’m a morning person who loves a reason to get up early and seize the day so morning walks are my favorite. I also have 4yrs experience in property management. I make a great house-sitter as I am keenly aware of household operations, care, and how to handle emergencies.

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, cats, and a variety of other pets. Animals have always been a part of my life, and I truly enjoy being around them. I currently have a 9-year-old pit mix who I rescued at just 6.5 months old—he’s my heart and soul, and caring for him has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I have experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, and I treat every animal with the same love and attention I give my own. Whether your pet is playful, shy, senior, or special needs, I’d be honored to care for them like family. I currently work part time from home, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I have plenty of time to give your pets the love and attention they deserve, just like I do with my own. I'm diligent, punctual, and always committed to providing the best care possible. While I don’t currently offer in-home care at my own house, I’m very comfortable with overnight stays and sitting in your home. I have solid experience with pet sitting, walking, and various types of care, and I pride myself on being knowledgeable, dependable, and committed to making your pets feel safe and loved while you’re away.

Karli B.
“Karli has watched my 9 year old kitty three times and is currently scheduled for a future visit. I am so grateful to have someone kind and trustworthy to visit my little love when I am away. Karli is clearly an animal person; I feel very comfortable leaving with her caring for my kitty. Oh! And she took the cutest photo I’ve ever seen of her, too, love that.”

Summer H.
“Summer is exceptionally punctual, detail-oriented, and one of the few people I trust to care for our dog and two cats while we are away. I am consistently impressed by her attentiveness and dedication; she thoughtfully provides an activity log after each visit, giving peace of mind and a clear record of the care each animal receives. She also has a cat of her own, Winnie, who is as sweet and well-loved as one might expect. I cannot recommend Summer enough, we are incredibly lucky to have her.”

Ryan S.
“Ryan is an exceptional dog sitter and our absolute favorite! He's not only incredibly responsive and loyal, but his genuine enthusiasm for animals truly shines through. Jade R.
“Jade was a ton of help! Very attentive and my dog loves her. She did a great job and also coordinated with a friend of mine who took over care while I was out of town. I would trust her to come back into my home anytime to care for Theo. Thank you!”

Kaya I.
“Kaya is my housemate and friend. Her pit mix lives with us, and I have watched how Kaya has been an incredible owner and companion to him. She is so attentive to his needs – both physical and mental. She spends lots of time relaxing with him, giving him pets, and walking with him. He is an older dog, so Kaya is incredibly attentive to his chronic joint pain and stomach issues. Kaya is a great dog mom, and I know that she would be a great contribution to Rover.”
Marshall School pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jessica was very communicative and let us know about any issues such as the automatic cat feeder was unplugged. She also sent us pictures and videos and it was obvious that our kitties felt comfortable around her. She seems quite experienced and we definitely will try to book Jessica again in the future!

Holly took the best care of my two cats who both require meds in the mornings and evenings. She won over their hearts and trust so that insulin injections, pills and syringe meds all went well, with lots of snuggles and playtime. Thank you so much, Holly! 🐾🐾

Melody and Vicky came to our home so we could introduced our dog to them. Our dog usually takes days to trust new people. However, Bentley almost immediately warmed up to them both. 🤯 While we were traveling we received several pictures. We especially love the one of Bentley sleeping in their laps. My wife and I will definitely use Melody and Vicky in the future. We highly recommend these two dog lovers!

Hope is the best!!!! When she is watching our two cats I know she cares as much about them as I do! She is an excellent and thorough communicator. Hope takes and shares the best cat pictures which helps us miss them a little less while we are away. We are so grateful for the love she shows our cats!

We are incredibly lucky to have found such a caring and loving doggy care giver! We have two dogs with very different personalities, and Cyrene was able to care for them in the best way. Not only did they follow all our instructions, but they also went above and beyond to ensure our doodles were healthy, happy, and had some outside time/exercised. Our boys are patiently waiting for more Cyrene visits!
We are so grateful for Jandy. We messaged her at 2:30AM looking for someone experienced to help us out with our sweet sick cat. He has chronic diseases and was pretty stable before we left for a short trip, but we noticed on our cameras he was having a flare up while we were gone. Our regular sitter wasn’t ready to manage it. Jandy answered us that morning and was at our place by 11:30 AM giving our cat SubQ fluids, meds, and sweet snuggles. He was doing much better after she took care of him. She is clearly very knowledgeable with cats with medical problems. She shared some of her experience in taking care of cats with similar issues, and what worked for them, obviously discuss all treatment with your vet, but we found it helpful! Because of Jandy we got to enjoy the rest of our trip knowing our cat was in good hands.

Chynna was amazing with our two pups! One of them is on a little more on guard with people he doesn’t know and Chynna was so patient with him! They became best buds by the end of our trip. Super appreciate all the patience and helping to clean up when our dog got a little too excited. Would definitely book again!

We’re so grateful to Kelcya “Kacey” & Elizabeth B.! They took such sweet care of our kitten while we were away—making sure his food and water bowls were full, his litter box was clean, and most importantly, giving him plenty of love and playtime. He was clearly well cared for! Thank you both so much! 💛🐾

I cannot overstate how grateful we are to have found Shera as a pet sitter. She is fabulous: incredibly communicative, very trustworthy and kind, and clearly cares deeply about each animal. We always have a hard time being away from our pets, but she makes it so much easier. Thank you, Shera!!

Josilyn was amazing with Lucy! She brushed her, took her on walks, played with her, and made sure she felt loved and happy the whole time. She even accommodated an extra day last minute, which I’m so thankful for. I’m really glad Josilyn was the one taking care of Lucy — she went above and beyond, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!
