Deborah was very professional and kind with excellent communication. She was very detailed and took wonderful care of our chocolate lab in our absence. She went above and beyond in many different ways. I felt completely at ease knowing our dog was in good hands. I will definitely keep Deborah in mind for any future needs. Highly recommend! Thanks again!

We left our dog Teddy in Bela’s care while we were gone for the day. We were lucky to have found Bela through Rover. She was great! She took him for multiple walks, fed him his dinner and sent us pictures of him, too! We had never left Teddy for the day so were a little nervous about how he would do since he has separation anxiety. We came home to a happy, content dog, which is what we had hoped for. Thank you, Bela, for taking such good care of Teddy. We will definitely contact you for our future needs.

At my house, you'll find my three amazing companions that I’ve raised since they were less then a year old, who keep life full of love and laughs: - Yuna, the joyful 12 year old Corgi mix - Willow, the matriarch 14 year old Min Pin Terrier - Tidus, the sly 6 year old orange garfield tabby Having these sweethearts has taught me so much about patience, special needs, daily routines, and giving extra TLC to pets of all ages and personalities. I'm trustworthy, reliable, and truly caring—I follow your instructions to the letter, send daily photo updates (walks, playtime, meals), and go the extra mile to make sure your fur babies are happy, cared for & safe. Also, side note… that you feel safe and can relax and enjoy your time away. Whether you need walks, drop-in visits. I'm here to provide worry free care. For first time clients, please give me at least one day's notice so I can prepare everything perfectly. For repeating clients, know that you can message me same-day for help. About: My name is Sara. I am an animal lover and have 20 experience with animals from bunnies to goats and dogs from Chihuahua to Rottweilers! Over the last 30+ years I have been involved in animal rescue, fostering and rehoming...this has included Elderly Dogs, Pitbulls and various other animals with special needs and circumstances. I currently have a pitbull terrier mix rescued from an animal hoarder and a bulldog puppy. As these animals are still in training and have some behavioral issues I do not do boarding at my home or bring my dogs on walks or introduce them to my clients pets. I look forward to meeting your pets and loving them like my own! - Sara Flexible schedule. I have the pleasure of recently becoming a stay at home Mom so I can cater to your pets preferred time. Also looking for regular clients. I love to walk...long or short walks, whichever your pet prefers! I also have a chuck- it ball thrower if your dog loves to fetch if you prefer for me to play with your pet at your house in their environment instead of walks. Your pet will not interact with mine but will have my full attention! I would like to meet and discuss your pets individual needs and do a meet and greet with you around so they are comfortable. You can discuss any pet preferences at this meeting so we can customize a good, safe and healthy routine for your baby :-)

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for my own German Shepherd, along with my Goldendoodle. Through owning and caring for large, high-energy dogs, I've developed a strong understanding of the exercise, structure, patience, and attention they need to thrive. I'm also a Rover customer myself. I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, dependable, and communicative when leaving your pets in someone else's care. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I have experience with large dog breeds, high-energy dogs, puppies, and multi-dog households. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications and following specific care instructions to help maintain your pet's normal routine. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide attentive care during walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting stays. My goal is always to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving you peace of mind when you're away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and look forward to getting to know your furry family members! Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. As I currently work from home and I’m an dog owner, I'm used to structuring my day around walks, exercise, feeding schedules, playtime, and providing consistent care and attention. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate drop-in visits, dog walks, and house sitting throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so caring for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle. When caring for pets in a client's home, my top priorities are safety, consistency, and making your pet feel comfortable while you're away. I take the time to learn your pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, medications, and any special instructions, so they can maintain the structure they're used to. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and home. I treat every home with respect, keep pets securely leashed or contained as instructed, and pay close attention to their behavior and well-being. I'm experienced with large and high-energy dogs and understand the importance of safe handling, exercise, and supervision. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can stay informed and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is for both you and your pets to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout the entire visit or stay.

About: Growing up, I've always had animals in the house. Cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, bearded dragons— you name it. I've done pet setting during high school, and now that I'm starting college, I'd love to help take care of people's pets again! I have most experience working with cats and dogs, as I have 4 cats and recently had an elder dog for many years. I've volunteered at the humane society for fostering, so I can take care of kittens as well if needed. I have a very open schedule since I just recently graduated. I'm available to come over and check on pets between 9am-9pm any day of the week. I have open availability for house sitting as well, but for more info please feel free to contact me! I always make sure the pets are healthy and happy whenever I see them. I can clean up any messes or accidents they may have made, and I can give medicine in their food or orally. If your pet is a little skittish at first, it's not a problem! I'll let them come to me at their own pace so they won't get scared, and I'll be sure to offer plenty of treats as well.

About: I am very passionate about animals and I am extremely responsible when it comes to their care! I have been petsitting for family friends, neighbors, and acquaintances for several years now and I make sure that your furry friend is well-cared for while you're away. I recently have transitioned to petsitting full time so I have a lot of availability! I'm able to balance petsitting well with other responsibilities. However, there may be times when housesitting or during a stay when I need to leave temporarily to run errands. However, rest assured that my priority is providing quality care for your pets! I care for pets in client's homes, including feeding, walking/playing and generally providing a quality environment for them to feel safe in while you're away. I can also stay overnight if that provides peace of mind or if that works best with your pet's needs. I've been a pet owner all my life so I understand how important it is to keep them happy, entertained and cared for!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
