About: I have had cats and dogs throughout my entire life(20 yrs old) and I’ve always loved animals. I have also volunteered in numerous animals shelters and I currently work at Faux Paws downtown. I am available most mornings and nights during the week. I have a few hours midday where I am not available due to my school schedule—currently on break so my availability is more open:) I have a large and safe space for your pet to call home for however long you may be away. About: I work as a vet tech at a veterinary hospital with boarding since 2022. I also have 2 dogs and a cat, animals are my life. I work at a vet hospital and care for animals all day everyday. Drop in visits may vary due to work I can usually make it work as long as you’re flexible. About: Growing up, I've always had animals in the house. Cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, bearded dragons— you name it. I've done pet setting during high school, and now that I'm starting college, I'd love to help take care of people's pets again! Prior to Mala I was blessed with a beautiful black lab named Diego. He was my partner in crime and we traveled to 4 different countries together. He was a great dog and very well behaved. Before Diego, I had an 11 year old wonderful boxer named Roxy. If you know anything about dogs, you know these breeds are HIGH energy, HIGH interaction, and very LOVING. Over the last 20 years, I have worked with my own dogs in managing their energy, reducing destructive behaviors, providing basic obedience, and most importantly - showing them lots of love and having a ton of fun!!! We had to say goodbye to Diego in 2024 & have welcomed Mala to the family. She’s a sweet English labrador who loves other dogs and is very playful. She’s got some big paws to fill but this 1 year old is on the right path. I will take the dogs on a variety of activities from walks, to parks, to hikes (or simply walks if you prefer). Have an existing training routine?? No problem! I'm happy to reinforce training techniques on walks. Not to mention, they will get plenty of kisses and belly rubs along the way!
