“We left our 16-year-old cat, Mittens, in Marina's care for a week. We live in Southwest Florida but were spending a week in Vilano Beach. We wanted Mittens close to us in case there were any issues as she is an elderly cat. Marina did an excellent job caring for Mittens and giving her the attention she craves. Marina updated us several times throughout the day with photos and messages. We have never left Mittens with anyone before, but she was very comfortable with Marina and her family and made herself right at home. It really relieved our anxiety about leaving Mittens by seeing in the photos how relaxed she was with this family. Mittens even got along well with their little dog. I wish we lived closer to Marina as we would definitely use her again. If we ever find ourselves in St Augustine and need a pet sitter, we will call Marina.”

About: I am a lifelong dog and cat owner (all rescues). I always have two dogs at a time, so I'm used to multiple pets and walk both of my dogs together every morning. We love the great walking trails, and my pups especially love trips to the beach. A salty dog is a happy dog! Freya is my foxhound rescue who was found starving and injured. She's come such a long way! Bear is my beagle/labrador retriever rescue who spent the first year of her life in a kennel just waiting for a family of her own. I volunteer at the Flagler Humane Society both walking dogs and laundry room shifts to make sure they have fresh bedding. I am recently retired law enforcement and served for 30 years as an Assistant State's Attorney (felony prosecutor) in a major city. I am available all days and hours and would love to take long walks with your dog or drop in and give them some cuddles and attention. I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy, reliable and caring to be there for your pet. As retired law enforcement, I have been fingerprinted and background checked as part of my job for the past 30 years. About: The day of my baptism (as an infant) my family's dog had puppies, everyone was more excited about her puppies than me:) I have had dogs all my life and a good variety; wonderful mutts, Collies, Jack Russells, Labradors and Golden Retrievers. At 12 I started working at a barn taking care of horses and dogs and cats. I have fostered quite a bit and can deal with dogs with anxiety and other issues by gaining their trust. I used to breed Jack Russells many years ago when there were so few in this country, now I rescue them. I have raised quite a few puppies from birth. I will care for your pet as my own and share pictures and answer any questions you have in a timely manner so you never have to worry. I recently retired and work a part time job with very flexible hours so I can be available on a regular basis. I am usually available on weekends. While I prefer to care for pets in your home so they feel comfortable I am able to have pets at my home if needed. I have a securely fenced yard and my dogs are generally friendly once they get to know another dog.

I work from home and set my own schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day. My own family of Poodles and Doodles enjoys regular potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment, so your doodle will naturally become part of our daily routine. With supervised socialization, plenty of exercise, and lots of love, your pup will feel like a member of the family—not just a guest. 🐾 Your dog’s safety always comes first. I have separate fenced yard areas to allow dogs to get comfortable with one another before supervised introductions. My main yard is fully fenced with premium artificial turf, and my screened pool area is secured with a child safety gate. Pool time is always one-on-one and directly supervised. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I care for so each guest receives personalized attention in a safe, loving home.
About: Vet assistant for 5+ years throughout NY, Aspiring vet tech taking classes online, Experienced dog walker and was an in home pet sitter prior to moving to FL. I have 4 cats. (My Chihuahua recently passed due to heart failure) I love all animals and am comfortable handling any size or shape. I prefer friendly animals (of course!) But I have dealt with aggressive dogs and succeeded in gaining their trust and building a great relationship with them. - I was the only walker, besides the business owner, who could tend to the Australian Shepherd. After figuring out how to leash him, once we got outside of his house he was a huge mush! We would picnic and exchange kisses (picture included in my photos)! As for cats... I owned an aggressive, biting cat. I don't think I could experience a worse cat. Without warning she attacked me and bit my hands, arms, and legs.. after medication with our vet she continued to live with us without incident until she passed from cancer in 2019. I love cats and would gladly check in on your cats and home while you are away: clean litter boxes, feed cats, play with them, etc. Kittens are welcome to stay at my home, but I feel adult cats would be more comfortable at their own home. I will no doubt treat your pet like my own furry family member. I can be home 99% of the time but whenever I do need to leave my husband works from home, so your pet will never be completely alone. I have a fenced in yard and live on a fairly quiet street. To ensure animals, including my own, don't get out, we typically only go through the garage so no risk of animals running out the front door.

Bear is my beagle/labrador retriever rescue who spent the first year of her life in a kennel just waiting for a family of her own. I volunteer at the Flagler Humane Society both walking dogs and laundry room shifts to make sure they have fresh bedding. I am recently retired law enforcement and served for 30 years as an Assistant State's Attorney (felony prosecutor) in a major city. I am available all days and hours and would love to take long walks with your dog or drop in and give them some cuddles and attention. I know how important it is to have someone trustworthy, reliable and caring to be there for your pet. As retired law enforcement, I have been fingerprinted and background checked as part of my job for the past 30 years. I can assure you that your pet's safety and wellbeing will always be my main priority. Equally important, however, is that I am also a lifelong animal lover, and your pet will get plenty of cuddles and fun.

About: Experience volunteering at an animal shelter in Mexico, as well as helping family/friends with their animals. 28 years old, momma to my own fur babies and hoping to fill my spare time with more! Im currently working about 5 days a week as a bartender. A typical weekday for me consists of the gym or the beach in the morning, and then work 3-10pm. My weekend schedule is never the same but it’s either 11-5 or 5-10pm giving me plenty of time for pet care. My cats are indoor only. I’ve had them both since they were kittens and they are now 7 years old. I would be lying if I said they love dogs, but they can tolerate them. Any dog in my care will be treated as my own. I grew up with a Black Lab and German Shepherd, of whom I was naturally donned the caretaker. Additionally, throughout the years I've watched my friend's & family's dogs when they're out of town which has included everything from a French Bulldog puppy to a pitfall to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I am available any time between 5am and 11pm. Under special circumstances, I may consider hours outside of those listed above. Overall, I am flexible and reliable. Happy to accommodate last minute bookings as long as I am free. At this time I will not be offering care for animals in my own home as we have two large dogs of our own. If overnight care in a clients home is required or desired, I would be happy to consider for short periods of time.

For dogs that enjoy the water, we also offer supervised pool time in our private pool, which is fully secured with a child safety gate and is never used without my direct supervision. You’ll receive daily photo and video updates, so you’ll always know your pup is happy, safe, and having fun. My goal is to provide a true home-away-from-home where every doodle is treated like one of my own. ***IMPORTANT: For the health and safety of all pets in our care, proof of current Rabies and Distemper/Parvo vaccinations is required before drop-off. Owners must also disclose the flea/tick prevention product their pet is currently using and the date the most recent dose was administered. Pets without current vaccination records or the required flea and tick information cannot be accepted. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I work from home and set my own schedule, allowing me to provide attentive care throughout the day. My own family of Poodles and Doodles enjoys regular potty breaks, playtime, and enrichment, so your doodle will naturally become part of our daily routine. With supervised socialization, plenty of exercise, and lots of love, your pup will feel like a member of the family—not just a guest. 🐾 Your dog’s safety always comes first. I have separate fenced yard areas to allow dogs to get comfortable with one another before supervised introductions. My main yard is fully fenced with premium artificial turf, and my screened pool area is secured with a child safety gate. Pool time is always one-on-one and directly supervised. I intentionally limit the number of dogs I care for so each guest receives personalized attention in a safe, loving home.
