About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. I make the pets my priority when I am caring for them and I watch their behaviors so I can catch anything out of the ordinary. I follow feeding directions and potty schedules.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life. Our family animals (dog, cats, goats, Guinea pigs, birds, lizards, and a pony) fostered my lifelong love of animals. As a dog sitter, I have experience working with many different breeds and personalities. I have worked at a cruelty-free animal shelter, where I walked dogs, provided playtime, and helped take care of their living spaces. I have experience dog sitting in my home and understand the importance of helping dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. When your dog is with me, they will receive plenty of attention, affection, and care. I am happy to take your dog on walks as often as needed and look forward to having a companion to play and cuddle with. On days I am not at school, I am at home, which allows me to give your dog my full attention throughout the day. I genuinely care about making every dog feel happy, comfortable, and secure, and I will treat yours as if they were my own! I am currently a doctoral student studying Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine and my schedule allows me to provide pet care throughout the week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I am on campus for part of the day, and Thursday through Monday I study from home, which gives me the availability to provide your pets with plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. I live in a house with my parents. The upstairs level is my dedicated living space, which includes a bedroom, bathroom, and a living room area. Your pet will spend their time in this space with me! My parents have a cat that lives downstairs. They will not be living in the same space. We live on 4 acres, providing ample outdoor space for play, exploration, and exercise. We are located on rural road, which is great for long walks. When caring for pets, I prioritize maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions you provide.

About: Currently, I don’t have pets. But I watch my grand pup, Seina on a regular basis. She is a 3 yr old Parson Russel Terrier. I work in the mornings from 7am - 12pm. I’m usually home the remainder of the day. When I’m not home I have doggie cameras set up so I can check in on your dog. I live in a townhome. So I will take your dog for plenty of walks. They will receive lots of cuddles, love and special attention.

“Joel provided an amazing drop-in service for us twice daily for 6 days for our 4 senior Dachshunds. He communicated with us each time he stopped by and sent pictures of the pups eating, getting some outdoor play time and settling down for naps until his next visit. They truly bonded with him because he gave them the kind of attention they crave—food, belly rubs and back scratches. One of the pups is blind and he helped her up and down the steps to walk in the grass. We could enjoy our trip knowing our pups were getting great care and attention while their needs were being met. About: I’m confident and comfortable with both dogs and cats, including puppies, senior pets, high-energy dogs, shy animals, and pets that need extra patience or attention. I also have experience with potty training puppies, reinforcing routines and basic commands, and making pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have worked professionally for years as a pet sitter for a wide variety of animals. This has given me experience and confidence in handling different temperaments, routines, and care requirements. I also grew up homeschooled on lots of land, so pets have been part of my everyday life for as long as I can remember. Because I was home during the day, I spent a lot of time helping with feeding, training, socializing, exercising, and caring for animals of all ages and personalities. What sets me apart is my genuine love for animals, whether they’re my own pets or someone else’s. I truly view animals as part of the family, and I believe every pet deserves individualized care, attention, patience, and love based on their unique personality and needs. I would treat every single pet as if it was my very own fur baby. I recently got married to the love of my life and moved to Mahtomedi! My husband works full time, I, however, have a completely wide open schedule! I have always loved animals and would love to fill my week days with taking care and of other people’s fur babies. If I am staying in the pets home, I am sure to keep their routine as similarly as their owners do, so that both the pet and the owner feel as safe and comfortable as they can. If the pets were in my home, I would do my best to make that temporary transition as smooth and as comfortable for them as possible. Whether that be bringing their own toys or bed, or letting them snuggle in the bed with me if that’s what they are used to. With my schedule being solely dedicated to pet sitting, your pet will never lack attention in whatever ways they need! Whether that’s endless walks and tug of war, snuggles on the couch, or just having a safe hand around to make sure they are picked up after.

About: I have loved and cared for animals my whole life and get a deep sense of joy when I am able to care for them! I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 15 years which has provided me experience with all kinds of animals with all types of personalities. I have an animal medical background which helps me provide safe and sound handling techniques and animal care skills. I have owned an array of animals: dogs, cats, horses, chickens, ducks, rabbits, rats, and mice. I also have cared for other farm animals such as cows, goats, and sheep. I have fostered puppies through Ruff Start Rescue for 7 years which has given me extensive experience with potty training and leash training. I work at a school which gives me summers and weekends available for animal care. I am often available in the evenings year-round also. I have a quiet neighborhood and a large yard. My dog is young, playful, and very friendly. I am familiar and comfortable with crate training and dog-safe practices within the home. I am aware of pet toxicity and safety concerns with pets.

About: I have a very flexible schedule and I'm happy to be there for walks and potty breaks or house and pet sitting as-needed. Minnesota native. I look forward to hearing from you. I have a small dog of my own and I take her for walks as needed, although she has severe arthritis and needs daily medication and monitoring. I am accustomed to letting her out to go to the bathroom at least every 4-5 hours. She is my pride and joy, and I'll ensure your canine family member is treated with equal care. I also care for my mother's large dogs often and grew up with larger breeds. There are 3 dogs in my household already, so boarding your dog at my residence may be a challenge, but I have done it before with enough time for a couple meet and greets beforehand. I am more than willing to come to you for your overnight needs or for daily walks and playdates.

About: I am currently a student at Northern Michigan University, looking to make a little money to help me through college. My whole life, I’ve been surrounded by pets. Back home in Minnesota, I have 4 dogs, a cat, 30 chickens, and a wide variety of reptiles. And I miss them very much! I would love to provide great care for your pet and help reduce some stress in your day! I am currently a member of the Women’s lacrosse team at NMU, therefore my schedule changes by the week! However, I am very flexible with mid-day walks/drop ins. Depending on the week I have a lot of free time in the evenings! I do not have pets here in Marquette, however I have several years of experience pet-sitting and house sitting in Minnesota. I’m a true animal lover and would provide nothing but the best care for your pet!

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was seven. I have helped take care of two dogs in the end of life stages, and one cat in end of life stage. I have also helped raise and take care of my neighbors kittens. I helped raise our three year old lab Lily, she know lots of tricks and is very obedient towards me. My whole life has really revolved around the animals I have had in my life. I am currently off work for the winter season and my schedule is wide open. I do prefer to meet your pet a day or two before coming over to sit, of course that is if possible. I like to get the dogs outside and play in the yard, or in the house. This is usually dependent on the location and weather.
