About: I have had dogs my entire life, and taken care of them in full for my family, friends and neighbors. I love four legged furry friends; giving them walks, playing with them and making them feel comfortable. I have always adopted rescue dogs so have a good sense of how to take care of apprehensive dogs, as well as hyperactive or dogs that need more attention and a patient trainer. I have amateur experience training dogs and have learned tips from my sister who is an experienced dog trainer and dog walker. I have chickens at home and have cared for furry, scaled and feathered friends in the past, I love them all. I am patient and loving when it comes to taking care of animals and hope you will consider me to take care of your best friend(s)! My partner and I have recently lost our best furry friend and I would love a reason to get outside more often with my favorite animal (dogs!) or any animal at all. I currently work full time but am off on Sundays/Mondays as well as evenings. My job allows me to leave midday as needed. If I can plan ahead with a care schedule, I have no issue fitting walks/care as needed. I personally have always had free range dogs, but have experience with free ranging as well as crated dogs. I am comfortable working with contained pets as well; chickens, other birds, snakes, tarantulas etc.

She kept us updated the whole time on how he was and sent photos and pictures to us. She even filmed our pup opening his Christmas gift since we were away for the holiday. Went we came back our house was just as we left it and clean. She even put our recycling and trash at the curb for us. She also left a note and cute little chalkboard for when we got home. About: I have tons of experience with animals, some of which have been my own. I currently own a black lab and German shepherd and have owned a Pekinese and tabby cat in the past, meaning I’m comfortable with all sizes of pets! I have pet sat for both family and friends, with no problems each time. I have worked with dog trainers at my previous job as a pet store manager and am aware of dogs’ body language and how to properly interact with them. I am in a very unique position where I work a remote, work-from-home job. This makes me available all days except Wednesdays. This allows me to be able to work around pet parent schedules and stay longer with animals! As already mentioned, I have some dog training knowledge. I have trained both of my dogs and even my horse. I’m comfortable around any size dog and would treat each one as my own. I am well versed in handling multiple situations. I follow directions very well and will do as pet parents wish.

“Alyssa lives in my apartment complex and I met her through Ada, the dog she is fostering. Ada was on her leash, about 15 feet away, begging for my attention so I asked if I could pet her. Alyssa said yes and explained that Ada is hyper-reactive, but I still thought she was an adorable dog.
