âWe had a great experience with Heather taking care of our cats while we were away. She was able to visit them a couple times a day, which really put our mind at ease. Heather was prompt, reliable, and communicated clearly throughout our trip. Highly recommend!â

About: Animals have been a lifelong passion of mine. With over 14 years of hands-on pet care experience, two degrees in Animal Science, and fostering rescue dogs, I understand that every pet has unique needs and personalities. I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, shy rescues, and dogs with special medical or behavioral needs. As a manager in an animal care environment, attention to detail, safety, and animal welfare are at the center of everything I do. Whether your pet needs a comfortable place to stay, daily exercise, medication administration, or extra patience and reassurance while youâre away, I will care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where both pets and owners feel confident and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule and am able to provide attentive, hands-on care throughout the day. Because I keep my boarding services small and personalized, your dog will receive plenty of supervision, exercise, enrichment, and affection. Iâm committed to maintaining your petâs normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel comfortable and secure while youâre away. Your petâs safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a pet-friendly home and years of experience caring for dogs through fostering, rescue work, and my educational background in animal science. I carefully introduce dogs, monitor interactions, follow feeding and medication instructions, and can accommodate crate-trained dogs. I keep a low number of boarders at a time to ensure every dog receives individualized attention, exercise, and a stress-free environment.
âCathy was all I could have hoped for in a caregiver for my sweet kitty. She was loving and followed my directions carefully. Philly was happy to see me when I got home, but calm and content. She had eaten her normal amount of food and Cathy sent pics of Philly playing! The pics were very reassuring. Thank you Cathy.â

About: I have had pets my whole life and have taken care of family and friends animals. I helped train both of the dogs that I currently have and take care of. I work part time as a waitress so I can help on my days off or before and after I work. I can stop by or take your pets for a longer walk. I have a fenced in back yard and there is no food out, both of my dogs are very friendly and play well with others.
âSecond time having Lucy in my home for drop in visits and sheâs so wonderful. Reliable, friendly, communicative⌠canât wait for my pups to need her again!â

âI am so happy to have Brenda to help care for our familyâs new puppy. It is very reassuring to me that he has a scheduled playtime with Brenda when we have other commitments. I especially love the pictures that she sends after the visits so that we can see how much fun our little guy had. She is a wonderful sitter!â

About: I have had and cared for 3 dogs and 3 cats my whole life. I have raised puppies and kittens, and cared for a senior dog. I am currently taking online college classes, so I have a very open and flexible schedule for regular or last minute visits with your pets. I strive to care for your pet as you do with them, so any special requests to make them feel comfortable, I am happy to accommodate!

âJenna was AMAZING! Despite the last minute booking, she was incredibly accommodating and took such great care of our dogs. She kept us consistently updated on how they were doing and made sure they were well fed and happy. Highly recommend!â

About: I've had a variety of animals my entire life: dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, the occasional hermit crab. We have housed friends/family dogs while they were out of town. I am comfortable with puppies and senior dogs. I work FT in Plymouth Meeting and can easily come for a lunch potty break, if needed. My husband is typically home 2-days during the week as well. Our home is situated behind the horsham power line trail opting for long walks. The backyard is fitted for short runs to play fetch. I have two kids aged 6 and 7 who are helpful, loving and have been exposed to dogs of all sizes! They are in summer camp 5 days a week and will be away from the house during the week and home on weekends. I have a fenced yard and a 9-year old lover of a Boxer, female. We just lost our male a few weeks ago and she would be more than happy to be a companion for your pupper. For drop-ins, I am a safe, reliable driver that would be happy to play in a backyard, take for walks, or go to the dog park.

âLori was great to work with, really helped out while we were away for the weekend and I could tell my dog did well with her. He was calmer than expected when we got home so I know he had been in good hands!â

About: I've owned and been around a variety of dog breeds, ages, and temperaments since I 10 years old. My family has owned mini schnauzers (including rescuing senior dogs), large breed hunting dogs, and Shepard breeds. I know the importance of maintaining a schedule, keeping high energy dogs exercised, and reinforcing training techniques for the breeds mentioned above. I also am able to give medications (both oral and injectable), and care for dogs after surgery (I volunteered with my grandad who is a veterinarian at shelters and assisted with minor surgeries and after surgery care). I just finished up college, and applying for another program. My schedule is pretty open allowing me to meet the needs of your pets, keeping them on a similar schedule while you are away As I've mentioned, I know the importance of exercising and maintaining a schedule and will keep to the routine of your pet. I also love cuddling and just spending time with animals.
âTracy took great care of my two cats while I was away for ten days. That gave me peace of mind knowing they were safe and had such companionship. She sent lots of pictures of my babies loving on her and even cut their nails! Thank you, Tracy!â

About: I grew up with the most incredible yorkie-poo for 16 years, and Iâve been filling the void by following way too many dog Instagram accounts. I really miss having a dog around, so your dog will get a lot of attention and be in great hands. Iâve looked after pit bulls, a Shar-Pei, doodles, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and mixed breeds of all sizes. Whether your dog is big, little, high-energy, anxious, stubborn, or just wants a buddy nearby, Iâm happy to meet them where they are. I may find it hard to get work done because Iâll probably spend too much time hanging out with your dog. And if theyâre into people food, Iâll respectfully disappoint them unless you tell me otherwise. Iâm in a flexible stretch right now, doing job-search work, contract work, and projects mostly from home. That means I can usually build my day around walks, drop-ins, or hanging with your pet. Iâm best for weekday daytime care, evenings, and some weekends with a little notice. If I have an interview, work call, or trip coming up, Iâll be upfront before booking so there are no surprises. Iâm pretty careful and communicative by default. Iâll follow your instructions closely, keep dogs leashed unless you explicitly say otherwise, double-check doors/gates, and send updates so you know your pet is good. Iâm not going to freestyle with food, treats, medications, dog parks, or anything that could create a weird situation. If Iâm in your home, Iâll treat it with the same respect Iâd want someone to show mine.
âHannah did a great job caring for our 2 cats. She followed instructions well and is super friendly. Our boys were well cared for. One of our cats has diabetes and needs insulin given subdermally via syringe, along with oral meds, and Hannah did well with administering those. Very reliable, kind sitter. I would highly recommend Hannah!â

âMcKayla was awesome! Our cats love her and she took such good care of them! We will definitely be asking her to help again in the future! She sent tons of pictures and responded quickly too! âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸â

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Maple Glen
Katie was wonderful! I waited too long to book our usual dog walker and came to Rover to see if I can find another one we could use. Katie came and had a meet & greet with our Great Dane and it went well. Our pup loved her! She sent pictures and updates so I never had any worries if my dog was well taken care of. We will definitely be booking Katie again!
Rosemary did an absolutely fabulous job with Winston. She was super attentive, detailed, and sweet with Winston. She took great care of him and I would highly recommend her. When Rosemary came for our meet and greet prior to this first visit, I felt very comfortable and trusting of her. Thank you so much!!!

We couldn't be happier with Kasey as our cat sitter for Sam and Smoets! From the moment she stepped in, it was clear she genuinely cared about their comfort and well-being. She kept us updated with photos and notes, which gave us total peace of mind while we were away. If you're looking for someone reliable, kind, and truly attentive to your pets' needs, Kasey is the one.

- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
