About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I personally had a 140 lbs Great Pyrenees who was reactive, so believe me when I say “all sizes and personalities” I’m currently a law student with no set work schedule apart from classes. As a result, I can be available during the work day as well as in the evening. I have a fenced yard as well as a large crate, if needed. I also have plenty of pet supplies from toys to treats to medicine.

About: I’ve built strong bonds with dogs over the years — including a deep connection with a pit bull I cared for consistently over a year, and ongoing care for a friend’s anxious dog who takes daily medication. I’ve also dog-sat for a coworker and have a history of being the go-to person for friends’ and family’s dogs, including pets who took to me right away. I really miss having a dog around, so your dog will get a lot of attention and be in great hands. I’ve looked after pit bulls, a Shar-Pei, doodles, an Alaskan Klee Kai, and mixed breeds of all sizes. Whether your dog is big, little, high-energy, anxious, stubborn, or just wants a buddy nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I may find it hard to get work done because I’ll probably spend too much time hanging out with your dog. And if they’re into people food, I’ll respectfully disappoint them unless you tell me otherwise. I’m in a flexible stretch right now, doing job-search work, contract work, and projects mostly from home. That means I can usually build my day around walks, drop-ins, or hanging with your pet. I’m best for weekday daytime care, evenings, and some weekends with a little notice. If I have an interview, work call, or trip coming up, I’ll be upfront before booking so there are no surprises. I’m pretty careful and communicative by default. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep dogs leashed unless you explicitly say otherwise, double-check doors/gates, and send updates so you know your pet is good. I’m not going to freestyle with food, treats, medications, dog parks, or anything that could create a weird situation. Jackie was very kind and welcoming, answered any questions and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She sent me pictures and gave me updates, and he looked happy and cozy. “Andrew and Jacklynn are amazing dog sitters. They watched our Stella for a second time over the Thanksgiving holiday for 4 nights/5 days. When I dropped her off outside their home, she immediately ran up to them tail wagging, excited to be seeing them again. She was also excited to have a dog pal in Rocky. When she is there, I can tell she is treated like family from the photos. Fantastic communication throughout and Stella came home happy. They also did a great job with her medicine.
