“A few days before our international trip, we stumbled across the Rover site. It was serendipitous, as was our luck in finding Amber. She was everything we wanted in someone who would be in our home and taking care of our cats. She is professional, organized, smart, hardworking, down to earth, and considerate. When we met for our consultation, we were very impressed with her, as well as very reassured by how receptive she was to our needs and situation. We were gone 16 days, and she kept in daily contact with us, providing updates and photos and videos. She went above and beyond, handling our worries thoughtfully and treating our cats as a as though they were her own. Our cats are indoor/outdoor, and Amber was flexible with her schedule so as to try to be in sync with their patterns, in addition to her other obligations. She offered our cats shelter, food and water, treats and playtime, cuddles and reassurance. And in doing so, she gave us tremendous peace of mind. When our one cat would go exploring for extended periods, Amber was mindful to track her adventures. She even took the initiative to look for her if to much time has passed since T had come home. Amber also checked in with us about the house and property, and made a great impression on my dad and sister (who came by and appreciated her efforts too). We can verify that our cats took to her as well, as we had cameras set up and saw how responsive they were to her! :) One of our biggest challenges taking this trip was what we were going to do about our cats (this was our first time away since we adopted them and we know our situation is a little unusual). We are so very grateful to have discovered Rover, and we are 100% going to book Amber and to recommend Amber, wholeheartedly, for future plans.”
About: I've had a variety of animals my entire life: dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, the occasional hermit crab. We have housed friends/family dogs while they were out of town. I am comfortable with puppies and senior dogs. I work FT in Plymouth Meeting and can easily come for a lunch potty break, if needed. My husband is typically home 2-days during the week as well. Our home is situated behind the horsham power line trail opting for long walks. The backyard is fitted for short runs to play fetch. I have two kids aged 6 and 7 who are helpful, loving and have been exposed to dogs of all sizes! They are in summer camp 5 days a week and will be away from the house during the week and home on weekends. I have a fenced yard and a 9-year old lover of a Boxer, female. We just lost our male a few weeks ago and she would be more than happy to be a companion for your pupper. For drop-ins, I am a safe, reliable driver that would be happy to play in a backyard, take for walks, or go to the dog park.

About: It wasn't until 2012 when I rented a home with a fenced yard that I adopted my first canine companion. Prior to that time, I always lived with cats and was the friend people thought of when they needed someone to do house and pet-sitting. I sat with quite a few small dogs, as well as a giant pit bull named Miles and a sweet special needs senior lab named Boogie. In my rural home on 3 acres are two 20 pound terriers named Jack and Sadie. They do not have a fenced yard to run around in, but always get at least three good walks each day (locally, on trails, dog parks). They're extremely bonded and are good with other small dogs and cats.

About: Currently the "sister" to a six year old Cavapoo dog whom I have pet sat multiple times in my home for my parents. I have helped walk my neighbor's rescue dog (who has anxiety, but seems to get along well with me). I was a regular cat sitter for a family friend (responsibilities included twice daily feeding, cleaning of the litter box, and making sure he was let in and out of the house). I truly believe our pets are furry family members who deserve all the love and personal care, so rest assured your fluffy (or fuzzy) friend will be in good hands with me! “This was our first time using Rover. Gabriela came highly recommended by a friend whose dog she had previously cared for. We could not have been any happier or more pleased with the exceptional care she provided to our 16 1/2 yr old chihuahua. Having an older dog with poor vision and hearing impaired made us so nervous but Gabriela immediately made us feel comfortable and had such keen instincts for our pup's needs. Our dog immediately bonded with her. We received pictures and updates from Gabriela and upon picking her up also received a full report. Gabriela is such a kind and caring person, you can immediately pick up on that and it truly showed in the loving attention she gave our pup. Would not hesitate to use her again and have already booked our pups next stay with her.”
“Lynda is great! I 100% recommend her. This was my first time leaving my dog meatball somewhere else and I was very nervous since he is an anxious and hyperactive dog. Lynda was very patient with meatball and very communicative, she was also great when it came to introducing meatball with other dogs, meatball was so happy when I picked him up and tired (which is good).”

As it was my 60-lb Golden Retriever’s first time at a house with a cat, I set up a meet and greet and I could tell my dog felt right at home. Jacqueline was super communicative and warm prior to and during the boarding process. I could tell by the photos that my dog was comfortable and I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come back with me! I cannot recommend Jacqueline enough and will definitely board my dog at her place again.”
