But in this case, not only is the house nice/roomy with a large backyard, but also it authentically feels like Jennifer and her daughter & husband are enjoying the experience as well. I feel like dogs respond to genuine affection, and that makes all the difference for us. Jennifer took pictures of her husband comforting Moose, and gave us stories about her daughter sleeping with him in her arms. Penny had a great time at Alan and Darlene’s! Darlene was extremely communicative, and accommodated a last minute request quickly, even allowing time for a meet & greet ahead of time. We received lots of updates and pictures during Penny’s stay, and she clearly enjoyed romping around the yard with the other dogs. Penny was very well cared for while we were away, and we are extremely grateful!

Lauren watched my senior dog 5 nights while we were away on vacation. She did a great job with communication and I had no worries that my pup was in good hands. I have a feeling my pup enjoyed the attention from the other (human) family members as well, just like home.
