About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family had seven dogs and six cats, so caring for pets was a part of my everyday life. From feeding and grooming to playtime, walks, and giving them plenty of love and attention, I learned early on what it takes to help pets feel safe, happy, and cared for. In addition to dogs and cats, I’ve also cared for mice, turtles, and fish, giving me experience with a variety of animals and their unique needs. I’ve always had pets throughout my life, and caring for animals has never felt like a chore, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I also spend time feeding and observing backyard birds, which reflects my love and appreciation for all kinds of animals. Whether I’m caring for a playful puppy, an independent cat, or another beloved pet, I treat every animal with the same patience, kindness, and attention I’d want for my own. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time and attention they deserve. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day, and I can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s individual needs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making them feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while maintaining their usual routine as closely as possible. In my home, pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. Although I have an unfenced yard, all outdoor time is supervised, and dogs are always kept safely on a leash. Hiring Dana to dogsit Buster was the best decision. We usually board him at the vet, but wanted a change so that he would have a more social, active and fun experience. Dana was thoughtful, caring, communicative and flexible throughout the entire process (from booking to pickup). She took excellent care of Buster with specific attention to our requests. She sent us many wonderful photos of his daily activities, which included several nature and park walks. Buster had his own little vacation exploring new places while we enjoyed ours in complete peace of mind. We happily give Dana the highest praise and rating with respect to our experience with her. She is a true animal lover and a nice person.
