Cat Sitting in Maple Falls

About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats, and I recently moved to the Bellingham area after spending a little over a year working on the Animal Care Team and as the Social Media Coordinator for Underdog Animal Rescue & Rehab, a nonprofit organization based out of Moab, UT. I am very used to animal care, regardless of the temperament or medical needs of the animal! I have my own form of transportation, and am happy to care for your dog! I only recently moved to the Bellingham area and am currently seeking regular employment, while also working to build a client-base for animal care here on Rover! I cannot take pets into my home as I live in a small studio and am not permitted to have animals other than my own in the space. My dog Pip (small white dog with big ears in my photos) is a very sweet girl who gets along well with other animals, although she can be a bit sassy at first (she’s little, so she makes a point to let other dogs know not to mess with her)! Pip gets a daily walk, either around the property where we rent, in town, or out in nature on a hike! I would be happy to bring your dog(s) along, as long as they d well with other dogs, and are trained on or off leash. I am a bit fan of crate training, but understand that every dog is different and that crates aren’t always the best way for some! Whatever your preference is, I am happy to follow it as long as it is within my moral boundaries!

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I have been taking care of animals on and off since I was a little girl. I have sat for puppies, seniors, cats, dogs, and everything in between. I have a bird and three dogs of my own, including a Saint Bernard. I love animals and I am hoping to get to meet some new ones. Right now, I am home from college in Seattle for the summer. I am currently taking bookings for any day of the week and at any time! Because of my flexible schedule, I am able to take pets on walks/potty breaks as often as needed. I always make an effort to tidy up toys or the home in general before leaving and I am very comfortable crating/feeding/playing with dogs of any size.

About: I was formerly a dog care professional at Hyline Hotel for Dogs, as well as many years with dog sitting. I’ve sat dogs ranging from 100lbs German Shepherds to 10lbs Terriers. I am a 27 year old male, strong and capable enough for even the largest of dogs. I am free most days for walks or in your home care. Request me anytime. For overnight care, I can only offer client home dog/ cat care. I have an elderly mom who is afraid of dogs, so my house is not an option. I will provide meals, plenty of long walks and play I will also obviously commit to any special needs such as; medicine, diets, food restrictions, high energy dogs, or behavioral issues. Your dog and their needs/ behaviors won’t scare me off as long as I am made aware of the situation I can do it all.

About: I've watched cared and watched dogs & pets of friend's, family's, coworker's, & even a wrong number for 15 years. I feel keeping animals in their homes and where they are comfortable when owners are away is important. As an animal lover I enjoy being able to give love and attention to as many animals I can since I am not able to have one or more of my own at this moment. I enjoy being outside and getting some exercise and would love to have a fur companion join me! I love to go hiking and would provide forest frollics for your dog! My schedule at the moment is extremely flexible. I am available to hang out with your pets all day if needed to ensure they keep their routine and have a stress free stay. I would treat your home like I was a guest there and make sure the pets routine is kept the entirety of my stay. Making sure your house is clean and tidy before your return.

About: I’ve owned dogs and other pets my whole life, but since opening my own business and having my son I just don’t have time to own a pet full time. So I figured this would be a good way to get to love on other peoples pups when it works for my schedule. I am self employed so my schedule can be semi flexible. I don’t work on the weekends, but I could also potentially bring a dog to my business as well on days that I work, depending on the dog of course. I have a fenced yard, a big field/park right across the street, a dog park a mile away, and a doggy door that could fit a dog up to about 50 lbs. I also own a small salon with accident safe flooring and a space right outside the door for potty breaks if I ever needed to bring a dog to work with me.

About: I’ve taken care of pets before, staying over at a clients house to care for them day and night. Getting up at specific times when they’re used to getting fed, taking dogs for walks, playing with them, brushing them, etc. I have loved animals since I was a kid, and have grown up with cats my whole life. I work part time as a nanny so some days I would be gone for a few hours but complete open availability in the evening. I have an unfenced yard not near a road. I live in an apartment with one roommate that is spacious and the apartment building is pet friendly!
