“Emily was great with my shy cat - kind and responsible. She did a thorough job with the cleaning and feeding, and went out of her way to make him comfortable. I highly recommend her.”

About: Im a loving caring dog lover. Ive fostered dogs for about 8+ years now. If it was up to me id take all the dogs that need families into my home . I want to join this job because its flexible & i get to learn about different dogs and the way they act. Im good with dog training im very big on training with treats and learning how to eat in groups. The cuddles are the best when it comes to bed time. Im very active so im always at the park with my other dogs as well and backyard time mostly requires a pool . Pets are humans they need love equally and thats my motto. Lets get the fun started this summer for good runs and good excercise
“It was such a relief to be able to go on vacation and know our cats weren't just being fed, but truly taken care of. Stacy was very communicative and we could tell she made good friends with our cats - they still ask when shes coming back. She came over in advance to get a lay of the land and meet them and learn all their hiding spots. She even took the litter when she left so we wouldn't have to deal with it. Stacy really was wonderful and knowing our cats were being loved by someone with such great experience while we were away was such a gift!”

About: I’ve cared for animals since I was a child. I’ll run with, walk, feed, play with, or care for your pet. I’m a mom to my son, one dog, four cats, and a hedgehog. I’m responsible and really love animals. I don’t have a long professional pet-sitting history, but I’ve cared for animals for decades. I’m a very active, busy person, but I have plenty of time for pet care. I can do early mornings Sunday-Thursday, evenings Monday-Thursday, and pretty much any time on Friday or Saturday. I can care for your pets in your home, but have to go home to my own at night. Mostly, I’m available to visit your pet in your home or take them out for walks or exercise.

“She was so wonderful with our fur babies. Cared for them with so much kindness and love. She was attentive and maintained their schedule while we were away. So grateful to have found her on the site and hope to use her in the future of available. Highly recommend”

“This is the second time Jasmine has watched my two cats and she did an amazing job, again! I can’t recommend her enough. The cats were well cared for, I got great photos of them, and Jasmine was very communicative the whole time we were gone. Thank you so much, Jasmine!”

“CeCe did a great job looking after and playing with my very shy cat. She was also very responsive and kept a close eye on things. As a result, I could enjoy my time away from home without stress.”

“Stephanie is wonderful, and I've been meaning to write a review for a while now. I recently moved to the area, have two dogs with complex needs & have felt so comfortable leaving them in Stephanie's care. She's been helpful with medication administration, and has provided individually tailored support to both my elderly dog, and younger pup with behavioral difficulties. The dogs have a history of scuffles, and Stephanie has been able to follow along with the complex safety plan that I have in place. I've had a previous sitter reject my rescue pup because the dog was too traumatized and anxious. Not Stephanie! She was really confident with my anxious dog and was patient, participating in multiple visits just to get to know her prior to taking on dog walking while I wasn't home. Completely 100% trust and recommend her!”

About: I’ve had 6 dogs in my lifetime and of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I have never met a dog that I haven’t gotten along with and have been caring for mine and my friends dogs and cats when needed since I was 10. I trained each one of my dogs and take great care to respect them as the magnificent boys and girls they are. I really love animals of all kinds and meeting new ones is always the highlight of my day, and I look forward to meeting more! I’m currently applying to graduate school and studying for standardized testing, so my schedule can be as flexible as needed to accommodate for yours or your pets needs. I’m quite active with my dogs so I’m more than happy to deal with any energy levels in animals. That being said my care revolves around keeping your pets as happy as possible, and if you are ok with it I have a fully fenced in garden and three lovely dogs to keep them company!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Manitou
We cannot recommend Emily enough! She watched our cat, Bella, and completely blew us away with her care, thoroughness, and communication. It was so incredibly comforting to see how much genuine affection she showed our girl. Emily didn't just handle the basics; she went above and beyond. She kept up with Bella's precise feeding routine, mixed her wet food with a little water just the way she likes it, and meticulously washed out all her bowls every day. What we loved most was how well Emily understood Bella's vocal, sweet personality. She sent the most heartwarming, detailed updates that let us truly relax while we were away. If you are looking for a sitter who is reliable, deeply caring, and a fantastic communicator, hire Emily. We will absolutely be booking her again! Thank you so much, Emily!

Megan took very good care of our 3 cats. She followed all of the feeding and care instructions. She was very quick to respond and made sure to send us pictures of each kitty. We really appreciate that she took the time to clean the litter boxes and even took out our trash. We would definitely recommend her.

Jessie is phenomenal with our pets. Very thorough with following the instructions we provided. If she’s available and willling will will book with her every time . Also, I can’t prove it but it snowed while we were away and I believe she cleared the stairway as well . Overall 10/10!

As of June 2026, there are 167 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Manitou. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
