About: Animals are basically part of my DNA. I’ve been walking dogs and pet sitting since I was a child, and I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other animals. I’ve also been riding and caring for horses my entire life, which means I’m very comfortable with responsibility, routines, and understanding animal behavior. I have hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic dogs who love long walks and playtime to seniors who need a calmer pace and extra TLC. I’m great at reading animal cues, keeping routines consistent, and making sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own. I work from home, so pets are never left alone and are part of my daily routine. My home sits on 3 acres of private property surrounded by a state park, which means lots of space for play and long walks or hikes. Safety and trust are always my top priorities. I care for pets by treating them like part of the family, whether they’re in my home or theirs. I stick closely to each pet’s usual routine—including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and rest—so they feel comfortable and secure. I make sure dogs get plenty of supervised exercise, enrichment, and attention throughout the day. I’m attentive to individual needs, whether that means extra activity for high-energy dogs, gentle care for seniors, or patience and consistency with puppies. I also keep pet parents updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. I have such a firm belief that dogs are truly a man’s best friend, and their greatest companion and deserve all the time and love that they deserve. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. How I can for my dog is how I intend to care for any future clients dog, with care and time.
“Vinny helped me ensure my pets had great care during a family emergency. I am forever grateful for his prompt help and excellent care, it was such a comfort to know my pets were taken care of and I didn’t need to worry about them at all. Thank you!!”

“Clare did an amazing job watching out cat. She is very professional, trustworthy and highly responsive, providing updates along the way when we were gone on our cat. I highly recommend her!”

“We hired Kalyna for a home visit just to meet her and have her spend a little time getting to know our dog. Everything went great, and we hired her for a home visit next weekend. We look forward to working with her!”

“Stephanie is wonderful, and I've been meaning to write a review for a while now. I recently moved to the area, have two dogs with complex needs & have felt so comfortable leaving them in Stephanie's care. She's been helpful with medication administration, and has provided individually tailored support to both my elderly dog, and younger pup with behavioral difficulties. The dogs have a history of scuffles, and Stephanie has been able to follow along with the complex safety plan that I have in place. I've had a previous sitter reject my rescue pup because the dog was too traumatized and anxious. Not Stephanie! She was really confident with my anxious dog and was patient, participating in multiple visits just to get to know her prior to taking on dog walking while I wasn't home. Completely 100% trust and recommend her!”

About: I grew up in Oklahoma on 90 acres with cows, horses, cats, and dogs. I've always had a passion for animals and the outdoors. One of the unique experiences I offer is adventure outings for your pup. Living near the beach allows me to provide refreshing beach walks, and as an avid hiker, I also enjoy taking dogs on scenic trail adventures where they can safely explore and enjoy nature. I currently have two dogs of my own—a Miniature Dachshund and a German Shepherd mix we rescued. If your dog would benefit from a positive, supervised social outing, I’m happy to provide that as well. Growing up, I regularly cared for and walked neighbors’ and family members’ pets, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust. My goal is to give you peace of mind while your pet has a fun, enriching experience. You can rest assured that your furry family members will be cared for and loved as if they were my own. As a full-time dog dad to my two pups, I maintain a flexible schedule and am readily available to help ensure your pets receive the care and attention they deserve. Whether it’s a quick neighborhood walk for exercise or an extended stay with a pet who needs a little extra companionship, I’m here to provide dependable, attentive care. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pets are safe, happy, and fully cared for. I am committed to providing a high level of personalized care and attention to every client. I ensure that when you book a walk or service with me, your pets receive my full, undivided focus. This dedicated one-on-one time allows me to tailor each visit to your pet’s individual needs, personality, and routine. I also have a spacious SUV available for safe transportation if needed. For dogs who enjoy a little extra adventure, I offer nature hikes as an additional service, giving them the opportunity to explore and exercise in a safe, supervised environment. Feel free to send me a message with what you’re looking for, and I’ll respond as soon as possible. I look forward to connecting with you and your pets!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique needs. I have experience with everything from energetic puppies who need consistent training and playtime, to senior dogs who require gentle care, medication, and patience. I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable—whether it’s a long walk, structured routines, or just extra cuddles. You can count on me to treat your pet like family while keeping communication open and consistent. Being in college means I’m away from my own dog, who I cared for every day. Pet sitting helps fill that gap—I get to give other pets the same love, attention, and consistency I gave my own. I plan my days around classes so I always have plenty of time for walks, play, and cuddles. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do on the side—it’s something I genuinely miss and enjoy, which makes every visit special. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it my priority to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. Whether that means regular walks, feeding on schedule, playtime, or administering medications, I follow your instructions closely so your pet feels safe and cared for. I’ve always been a dependable and trustworthy person—throughout high school I was an honor roll student and someone people could rely on. Now in college, I bring that same reliability and dedication to pet care, treating every pet like they’re my own.

I can be trusted with providing animals the proper medication for their individual needs. I will ensure that pets are safe and given adequate attention when their owners are away from home. Pets are welcome in my home or I can care for them at their home. I am very flexible to make it convenient and easy for you and your fur babies. I'm currently working part time and I make my own schedule so I'll have plenty of time to give your pet the attention that they deserve. As of August 2026, there are 2,983 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Garrison. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Garrison. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
