About: I was a hands on member in my own dogs professional training, and I have taken care of friends and family’s dogs of all ages and breeds so there’s really nothing I haven’t seen before. That being said, I am well-versed in the high demand and needs of puppies and can confidently say that I am trained to care for them and all the hurdles that they entail. Having rescued my fur baby as a puppy off of the streets, she’s had her fair share of difficulties. Everyday has been such a blessing to see how far she’s come, and continues to. I have such a firm belief that dogs are truly a man’s best friend, and their greatest companion and deserve all the time and love that they deserve. Just from getting in walks everyday, to intentionally setting time aside to play with them is so important. In my home, I pretty much hang out with my Blaze as much as I possibly can. Every hour that I’m home, my dog is right by my side. Even when leaving the house my Blaze is in the backseat of my car ready for a road trip. I think to be deserving of a dogs love means putting in the time to treat them with the care they require, whether that time goes to an extra long walk, or play time with the ball, or even making sure she’s getting all the nutrients she needs in her food. For many years we shared our home with Lucy who was a diabetic rescue We educated ourselves on her special needs including insulin injections. Maddie clearly enjoyed her 3 days, enabling us to sight see in NYC without worry. Generously, Barbara dropped us at the rail station when she collected Maddie, and picked us up again. She was really flexible with my dates, which I couldn’t confirm until the last minute, and even then had to alter them. She was also friendly, chatty and warm, a pleasure to meet her.”

There are no children or other pets in my home, so your dog gets plenty of individual attention in a calm home environment. They can sleep in my bed, curl up on the couch, or choose a therapeutic dog bed if they prefer their own quiet space. For food motivated dogs, I have five different dog puzzles and enjoy playing "find the treats" and other enrichment games. We also have a fenced yard for supervised play and relaxing outside. Most days include 3–4 walks, ranging from a quick 10-minute potty walk to a 30–45 minute adventure. With standard house sitting, your dog should be comfortable being alone for approximately 6½ hours while I work my part-time morning shift at a dog daycare in Putnam Valley (8:00 AM–1:30 PM, 4 days a week, plus travel time). If your dog needs someone present most of the day and cannot comfortably be left for more than about two hours, I may still be able to accommodate them with extended-care house sitting at $185 per night. I require a meet-and-greet before accepting a new boarding or house-sitting client so we can make sure your dog and I are a great match. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time at a dog daycare and also work from home as a self-employed bookkeeper and real estate agent. My schedule is flexible, and I can choose which days I work at the daycare, allowing me to plan around the dogs in my care. My husband also works from home, so boarding dogs are rarely left home alone. This flexibility allows me to provide plenty of companionship, frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and individual attention throughout their stay. I provide a safe, calm, and personalized environment with plenty of individual attention. About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up with cats, but most of my family had dogs, so I have always been around them. This love for animals also got me into the veterinary field, which I have 6 years experience in. I have years of experience walking, handling, and playing with dogs and now have the experience to give oral medications or injections if needed. I currently don’t have any dogs, but I do have 2 cats. During my day I always make sure I wake up early enough to feed them and clean the litter box. After coming home from work, I feed them dinner and spend some time brushing and playing with them. I then clean the litter box before going to bed and repeat the next day. In my home, I have installed screen doors on the entry doors to prevent my cats from escaping but so they also can see the outside activity. About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and developed a sense of understanding a dogs behavior and body language. Friends and family have always rely on me because they know I am great at meeting a dogs needs and dependable when needed. I am home several days of the week and have time for walks, playtime, and belly rubs. I’m also available on the weekends where I can provide consistent check ins, and walks. About: I have been pet sitting since the age of 14. I have looked after animals of all kinds, such as dogs, cats, chickens, reptiles, and amphibians. I am comfortable giving medication (outside of injection) and am willing to work with animals of all ages. As we enter the school year I am unavailable for midday drop ins but am available for house sitting or walks after 4pm. This is not my full time position so I will be unavailable from 8am to 4pm. My availability will open up during holiday breaks so keep an eye out for when my availability opens up. I always schedule a meet-and-greet before any care to get to know you and your pets.
