About: Hello, My name is Candice. I am a fur Momma to two Dogs. Princess Lola is a 7 year old Chocolate Labrador who is my gentle giant. She enjoys long walks with her dog friends and playing with her human brothers and sisters. Scrappy is a 14 year old Westie/ Bischon Frise mix who enjoys snuggles from his family and his bed. He is blind but navigates and acts like he can see. I did have a third fur baby that crossed the rainbow bridge last year as he lost his fight with cancer. My Brodie was a 13 year old Long Haired Chihuahua/ Papillon mix and in his younger years enjoyed playing nose soccer with his family. About: I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my entire life. Cats are my favorite and I’ve had them since I was a child. In the past I have been mostly cat sitting. More recently, I have been dog walking and sitting for friend’s dogs while they are away on vacation or at work. I enjoy it as a therapeutic way of bonding with the animals as a form of self-care and mutual support and pet care co-regulation. Unfortunately, I cannot have dogs at my residence as per my lease agreement and being able to sit and walk with dogs is a way of being able to enjoy access to them without being able to own them myself. “We found Annie after running around trying to find a last minute dog sitter/boarder to watch our dogs after they were in our wedding ceremony. Annie and I chatted on the phone before booking. She not only loves dogs but understands dog behavior and put my mind at ease to watch our two sweet pups. Annie was absolutely fantastic and worked with our coordinator to pick up our dogs and did so on time. We only wish we lived in the area, otherwise Annie would be our go-to.”
“Michael is awesome and a pleasure to work with. Our dog Frank does not do well with standard kennels and we've struggled to find places to board him. We recently needed a someone to care for him for 4 days and thankfully discovered Michael. Not only was Frank very well cared for, but we're pretty sure he wanted us to extend our trip for another 4 days. Michael clearly loves dogs and treats his guests like kings/queens. He sent multiple pictures daily and it was clear that Frank was comfortable, happy...and spoiled. We just hope Michael is available every time we travel!”
“My husband and i are so happy that we found Andrea, she loved and cared for Bronson like her own, her home was so warm, free and welcoming to our dog. It was Bronson’s first time staying with a sitter and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Andrea took him to the park and walked him daily, she also updated me on a consistent basis providing peace for me while on vacation. Her son and bronson were very good buddies, I would definitely recommend her home for your pet.”
