About: Hi my name is Elise and I have always have a huge heart for animals, they mean the world to me and more no matter the kind. I have 2 dogs one being a beagle fox terrior mix and the other a toy poodle. The beagle is a senior who I've had since I was little that I've always taken care of and the other is a toy poodle who is a few years younger who I also care for. I have great experience with senior and young dogs and handle then both with the best possible care for their needs. I've always had a huge heart when it comes to animals. I have been taking care of friends, families, and my own pets since I was little and have always found such joy in it. I volunteered at a pet shelter for a short amount of time when I was younger and have taken care of all different kinds of animals going from a tortoise all the way to a horse. I have taken care of Golden Doodles, Labs, Golden Retrievers, and a St. Benard. I am so thrilled that I will be able to take care of more animals which I love doing! I'm currently working part time and I am taking college course online so I have plenty of time to take care and hang out with your fur babies! When I do work it's only 5 hour shifts and I only work 3 days a week evening shifts so I have a lot of availability throughout my week leaving a wider selection of times and hours I can see your fur babies. I have a huge yard that my pups get to play in far from any road so they have plenty of safe space to roam but either on or off a tether. My toy poodle loves playing fetch so I am constantly outside playing with her, my senior dog used to enjoy it too now he spends his time relaxing so he always gets the best snuggles and scratches. I'm always looking after my furry friends constantly and can't imagine doing anything without them and can't wait to share my love with yours.

“This was a last minute booking that Tara was quick to respond to and set up a meet/greet for. I was very nervous to leave the dogs as we just recently rescued one with severe trauma/fear and another one healing from a recent surgery and still getting used to having his new brother in the house. I knew they needed someone very attentive and knowledgeable—Tara was just that and beyond! We had a slight issue that we did not anticipate with our rescue doggie and Tara was quick to inform us and navigate the issue to ensure both our dogs were happy and healthy in her care!”

I have years of experience in the hospitality industry within restaurants and retirement homes, and have developed excellent customer service ethic. As far as my experiences with animals, I’ve grown up with and helped care for a Boxer mix, Puggle, Doberman, 3 Chihuahuas, a Bichon Frise, and many cats over the years, as well as other pets. I love and get along well with all doggies and genuinely enjoy gaining the trust and affection of cats. Animals are one of the greatest joys in life, and I have no problem making sure that they are properly cared for, because I’d want someone to provide the same care for my pets when I am not able. I have dog-sat overnight many times for a family that I also babysat for, which included making sure Marley (the dog) was let outside about 3 times during the night and provide him with fresh water and food in the mornings. I am a reliable and trustworthy person, and in need of extra income to make ends meet. I’ve realized that I would love to work with animals to ease the stress of everyday life, and would enjoy easing the stress for pet parents by making sure their babies are safe and sound. What better way to spend free time than taking care of cute animals!?
