About: With a lifetime of animal care experience—from owning dogs, cats, and livestock to working as a kennel associate at a veterinary clinic—I provide compassionate, knowledgeable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m familiar with first aid, reactive dogs, and rescue animals, and currently share my home with three rescue dogs and a rescue cat. I treat every animal with the same love and attention I give my own. Your pets are in safe, caring hands. I’m currently working Monday through Friday full-time from home, and can fit my pet sitting schedule around what works best for you and your furry family members I have a fully fenced yard with access to fresh water and shade all day. I work from home and available to spend time with animals throughout the day. Currently my dogs spend most of the day in the house with me with lots of opportunities to go outside at their leisure.

About: I have been lucky enough to have been surrounded by a variety of pets (dogs, cats, horses, pigs, chickens, fish, goats, reptiles, and small mammals) my entire life and have always taken a prominent role in caring for them. My husband and I share a deep love for animals and treat them as a part of the family and would treat yours with the same level of care. We have our own flock of chickens as well as experience with goats (including milking) so can help out with the homestead if needed! We love spoiling our pack just enough and can promise to do the same with yours. I have open availability to walk or watch your pets any day of the week. I have a part time job but it's very flexible so I can take care of the pack anytime! Safety and security first. I will always prioritize the safety of your pet above all and will make sure that when they're with me that they are monitored and supported in any way necessary.

“Robyn once again was a saint with our hound dog. While our Dixie is pretty routine and not too high maintenance, her body decided to make other choices and Robyn was patient with the chaos her body caused. As upsetting as that was for all involved, Dixie was her happy self in every picture and that’s the end goal. I just wish that end goal didn’t require a carpet cleaner. Thank you for all your time Robyn”

About: I am a veterinary student but have 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician. I have vast experience in pet sitting, general practice, and emergency. I love hanging with pets and people! As a student my schedule during the week is more flexible. Some days I am done by 11am and others we are there from 8-5, but typically Monday - Friday. I plan to always leave it cleaner than I found it, cleaning up accidents if they occur. Additionally not going into places that are designated for me, I will not open doors if left shut.

About: With 30+ years of life with cats & dogs, I bring calm, loving, experienced care tailored to each dog or cat’s unique needs. I pay close attention to routines, energy levels, and personalities, whether that means long walks, slow strolls, playtime, or quiet companionship. My goal is for your cat or dog to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for, not just watched, while you’re away. I own my own business and work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Because I’m in control of my day, dogs/cats get consistent attention, timely walks, meals on schedule, and plenty of companionship, never long stretches alone. This allows me to truly adapt to each dog’s/cat’s routine, energy level, and individual needs. I’m happy to care for your dog/cat in the comfort of your own home, where they feel safest and most relaxed. I follow your routines closely, i.e. walks, meals, medications, and playtime, so your dog’s/cats’s day stays familiar while you’re away. Being in their own space helps reduce stress and keeps things calm and comfortable.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
