I also have hands-on experience with cats, small animals (like guinea pigs and rats), reptiles, and even farm animals like pigs and ducks. If it has paws, claws, hooves, or scales — chances are, I’ve cared for it. When it’s a good fit, I love incorporating dogs into my daily life — whether that’s a nature walk, a car ride to town, or just relaxing outside. But I never take dogs to dog parks or chaotic spaces. If something feels too stimulating or simply isn’t right for your pet, we skip it — no pressure, no push. And if your pup is the stay-home-and-cuddle type? That works for me too. I always ask about behavior, routines, and preferences ahead of time and spend the first day or two getting a read on what your pet is capable of and comfortable with. My goal is to help every animal feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for in a way that honors who they are. I work from home full time! I have several clients but the type of work allows me to be extremely flexible for your pets! I know while some pets can just hang out while I work, others may need more care, enrichment or a closer eye - I can and will accommodate accordingly. Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I grew up in a big home with 12 dogs, so caring for pets comes naturally. Your dog is in loving, experienced, and reliable hands, always! I currently have a part-time summer job during half the day, but I’m fully available in the evenings and nights. I also have two days off weekly, giving me plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the love and attention they need I treat every pet like they’re my own; no seriously, think belly rubs, baby voice, and full VIP treatment. About: Hi there! I have plenty of experience working with all sorts of animals, I volunteered at the SF zoo handling various small mammals, reptiles, birds, etc. I have babysitting experience under my belt as well and I know that your pet is your baby, so rest assured you are in good hands. My best friend and housemate is also a vet tech, if it eases your mind at all. I'm currently working part time as a waitress at a restaurant 4 times a week. My current schedule is Tuesdays 11-6pm, then Fridays-Sundays I work the closing shift 4-11pm. I am free all day Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays but am able to work before/after some times on the days that I work my main job! I have done husbandry care for tiny little coral, feeding them like clockwork and making sure they have all that they need, so if your animal has any dietary restrictions or allergies I am more than capable of handling all of their needs so long as instructions are provided.

About: I have had the privilege of caring for my German Shepherd, Rex, for three years, which deepened my passion for working with animals. Over the past 5 years, I have also gained extensive experience through Rover, specializing in dog training, behavioral corrections, and structured care. My expertise includes addressing common challenges such as excessive barking, leash pulling, aggressive tendencies, and uncontrolled anxiety. I work closely with pups and pet parents to ensure continuity in the care and training methods their pets are accustomed to or can develop. About: Hi, I'm Kaila! I am an animal loving college student with a lifetime of experience in pet care. I grew up with a vast array of animals who often were left under my watch. I have taken care of cats, little dogs, big dogs, and bunnies. All sizes and ages of pets are welcome! I have experience with puppy/kitten care, senior care, cats, small dogs, and big dogs! I'm well versed in (lovingly) tricking pets into taking their medication, ensuring they get proper exercise/enrichment, and cleaning up after them. At the moment I am free everyday aside from Sundays from 8-3pm. I am very flexible and able to meet you and your pets schedule! While I am not able to board your pets at my house, I can care for them in yours. To ensure your pets safety, comfort, and happiness I will take the time to get an understanding of their routine, personality, and any specific rules you have in place.
