About: I have enjoyed helping my parents and neighbors with animal and house sitting over the years and managed anywhere from 1 - 2 independent pets up to 5 pets at a time (dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, reptiles). I am currently a part-time student looking to extend my animal care experiences to pets in your home. I specialised in animal behavior while studying neuroscience at the Claremont Colleges and will be very attentive to your animals needs in my care. I also have experience administering topical/oral medications as scheduled. I am continuing my education part-time and available to help mostly afternoons. Please contact me 1-2 weeks in advance for HOUSE STAYS otherwise I am flexible to assist with regular potty breaks, walks, feeding, etc. with 1-2 days notice. When caring for animals in clients homes I will be sure to follow any set guidelines or recommendations provided to me. I enjoy meeting animals energy levels with exercise (walks, outdoor play), toys, training reinforcement, or simply good pets. About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I’ve had over 35 years experience caring for dogs, cats and even a couple bearded dragons. About: Hope to Talk and Meet with You soon! I had I've had much experience calming down rescue dogs who have not been to formal training. My charge would be extra for these. If your dog is at least a year, or has had a few classes in behavior, then my prices are as stated in the first section under rates. If I'm watching your pet for a day or part of a day, this should be great and no worries. Same goes for walking your dog. the price for walking and transportation to and from home to the park or beach etc. My last job was where we developed a routine run and walk, and the toys I brought. Its important to know how the owners see the life of their pet and what attention and routines have invested in their dog. If injured what they have experienced before I get involved. I took some time off traveling and now I'm back!

About: Hello! My name is Katie, and I have been caring for and loving my dog for the past seven years, as well as pet sitting for other families. I love seeing my dog's head tilt to the side when I say certain words, such as 'treat' or 'walk.' He is the cutest thing ever. I would also love to see your pets get just as excited as mine when being taken on a walk or given a treat! About: I grew up around cats and dogs, and have 20 years of pet sitting experience. I've taken care of many dogs and cats, fish and even chickens! I've taken care of pets of all ages and sizes and can customize to fit their needs. Walks and play that fit the animals health and activity level, routine feedings and am comfortable following special dietary instructions and administering medications. I also currently work at a veterinary hospital taking care of the animals that board there. This is what I do and I love it so I'm almost always available. About: I have never not had a pet in my life. I’ve always had dogs or cats in my home. Currently we have one female dog who is 14, one female rabbit and two parakeets. I work three days a week right next door to my home as a nanny. I live a very flexible and homebased lifestyle as a mom. We have a front yard and side yard and a fenced in backyard. We allow our pets on our furniture and our dog sleeps with us. She is great with other dogs and she is older.

About: I have walked dogs for a few friends, and a few different sizes of dogs. I haven't met a dog that I did not like for just about as long as I remember. I just love helping people and dogs. In a lot of ways dogs are like people that is to say each dog should be treated like that one dog as they all have personalities, habits and histories of their own. I have for about three years walked dogs and house sat for dogs my good friend Bruce, For the most part two Terriers but recently I have also walked his bigger dog, it's a mutt and acts a lot like a cat. I hope to hear from you soon and I just want to wish you and your doggo a good day-oh. I have a rather open day as i only work part time. I can workaround most schedules. I wake up early and stay up late most days. I do not mind working weekend I do not have housing that lets me have pets, well at least right now. I plan on moving to a better place soon. In terms of other people's homes I think the number one issue is make sure pets are only let in places they are aloud to be in.

I have had many dogs and other pets in my family through out the years with successful training. I am a non smoker, reliable and caring person.
