I have two kitties-my babies, of course, and leaving for an entire week wasn't easy. (Another app that is based around cat sitting didn't have a fraction of the sitters, so I was glad to find someone just as happy to cat sit.) I know she's great with them- especially since I was able to see lots of amazing pics of them after every visit. The shy one sat and let her scratch his neck within a couple days, so... yeah if you're a cat person, you know that's legit lol. I know your dogs would be in great hands, too! The litter areas were immaculate and everything was topped off. She even cleaned up the one "stomach incident," which I said not to worry about before leaving! (We discussed all the possible diet quirks and everything else imaginable prior to the trip.) I'm comfortable with shy, timid, and older cats, and I let them decide how much interaction they're ready for. Of course, I'm always happy to provide a few rump ruffles for those who enjoy them! I'll also send you a photo and a brief update each day so you can see how your kitty is doing while you're away. About: Hi there! Ive worked the last 3 years at Petco taking care of a lot of companion animals! I have had dogs, taken care of others dogs, and I currently have 3 cats at home! I started pet sitting for a couple of people about a year ago and want to see if there are more opportunities here! I’m also a pre-med student going into my last year of college and just started working as a patient care assistant! For the summer I will be working a full time job and 2 overnight shifts a week at the hospital. During the fall semester I am hoping to mainly work at the hospital and focus on my classes and pet sitting! Taking care of your pets in their own environment is key to comfort and making sure they feel safe even when you’re out of town. Every animal has their quirks or preference to make them feel happy, safe, and loved. (Even if I have to pretend to 5 star cook their kibble, or spoon feed them their wet food). I do also have experience working with sick animals from hamsters to dogs!

I'm comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, basic grooming, litter box care, and giving pets plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, so I always follow the owners instructions closely and make sure pets feel safe abs comfortable while they're in my care I currently work part-time on Mondays, Tuesdays Thursdays, and Saturdays, ( sometimes they don’t schedule me all days) and I attend college during the week. My school schedule is fairly flexible with no more than two classes per day, usually lasting around 2 hours each. This gives me plenty of time between classes and work to care for pets, provide walks, drop in visits, and spend time with pets staying with me. I'm also available for boarding and overnight care. On weekdays, drop-off and pickup times may need to be arranged around my class schedule, but I'm happy to work with owners to find a time that works for both of us. My days off from work are Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, so I have even more flexibility on those days. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime, fresh water, meals, and bathroom breaks based on their normal routine. I keep a close eye on them and make sure they feel relaxed and cared for while there away from home. In a clients home, I follow the owners instructions closely and try to keep the pets routine as normal as possible.
