About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! I am not ready to have a dog back in the house full time but have realized, after dog sitting for a friends and family’s dogs, this would be a great way to help care for others pets. My husband and I work from home so letting the dog out is no problem for us. While we do not have a fenced in yard, we do have a lead to let them out on and take frequent walks. We love to take dogs on hikes in the bike trails behind our house. Working from home enables us to make sure your doggy is well taken care of and loved on. We love walking dogs and playing fetch.

I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family, when you are away. My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, lunch, then around 3-4pm around/after dinner time , and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my child, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. I have taught my children not jump around,not rush, nor scare animals. We go on walks often and many other adventures. For example, the dog park, hikes, bike rides, runs (etc). I can give baths too but am still saving up for some supplies needed to properly bathe long coated dogs (we’d have to do some sun bathing to get dry!) About: Life is better with dogs—and my English Bulldog, Dolly agrees! I'm a retired, lifelong dog lover and owner with 6 years of experience caring for dogs for family and friends. I offer boarding at your place (possibly with my dog, Dolly tagging along, if you are OK with it), dog walking, feeding visits, and playtime visits, all with lots of love and attention for you fur baby! I have always had dogs in my life, many reaching senior age and even a couple with medical issues, but all have been well cared for and loved beyond measure. As I said before, life truly is better with dogs! As a retired teacher and dog lover, caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I have plenty of time to dedicate to dog sitting, walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. Since I'm retired with a very flexible schedule, your dog will not be left alone for extended periods and we will enjoy plenty of companionship throughout the day. My English Bulldog, Dolly, is friendly, easygoing, well-behaved and gets along well with all other dogs. She enjoys having a playmate, is always happy to make a new friend, and she sleeps a lot! lol! If possible, I love to have her join us when I am sitting for other dogs. My goal is to treat every dog as if they were my own and provide owners with peace of mind knowing their fur baby is in loving hands.

About: I’ve grown up with multiple dogs in the house since I was little. I love being around animals and dogs make me so happy. I have three of my own dogs and spend all my extra time walking dogs at my local shelter. I love being around animals and if I can make a little extra cash it’s a win win 🥰 I am off for the summer but even once school is back on I am off at an early time. My job is extremely flexible, which gives me plenty of time to help take care of extra pups I have a large fenced in yard and have experience taking care of multiple dogs at once. Safety is my top priority, your dog will be treated as if they are my own 😊

About: I’m a 19 year old college student attending Indiana University, studying business. I have experience with taking care of both cats and dogs. Currently I have an energetic beagle and two cats whom I care for. I am great for long walks or even runs with your dogs, and I am well versed with handling cats. I am fortunate to not have any time constraints and am available to help out during the day and early mornings. I am however uncomfortable with late nights. I cannot host pets at my house since I have pets of my own. I can care for your pets at your house and do not mind having them in my car if they want to go to the dog park or a specific park to play.

About: Worked as a vet assistant for 3 years at a vet office, medically caring for pets and assisting in surgery’s. Then worked for another 3 years at a doggy daycare, interacting and monitoring dogs or caring for the ones that were boarding. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I walk 3-5 miles a day, and would love to take your pup along with me. I currently don’t have a dog of my own, but kids that would love to have one to play with for a day or two. I have a large yard and live on a dead end street. I am always walking to get my miles in or outside with my kids.

“This is the first time when we sent our dog Coco to a sitter for care. Luckily, it turned out to be a great experience for both us and our dog. Karla and her husband Dave took great care of Coco. Every time when I received a photo from Karla, seeing Coco comfortably lying on the couch next to either Karla or Dave, I knew Coco had been cared and loved. We really appreciate that Karla send us photos and short videos every day when we were at California for ten days. Karla's home is very clean and spacious, which allows Coco to circle around with other dog friends. In a summary, we definitely will send Coco back to Karla for care when needed.”

About: I have owned and taken care of my own dogs for 15 years. I currently have one dog, Clyde, he is a Bernedoodle. I will be working with my 16 years old daughter to help care for your pet. We are available for boarding, dog walking, feedings and cuddles. I work during the day but I am home by 4:15 and available on the weekends. If needed I can come home at lunch time for potty breaks. I am available to come to your home for drop in care. Boarding would be done at my house. I do have a dog friendly Bernedoodle and 2 cats.

“Erin and her husband have been exceptional. We adopted Ted 2 months before going to our home Country for 2 weeks during Christmas. So it was still a delicate moment for Ted. They asked all his habits and they took wonderful care of him. Ted came back home happy and healthy with all the same habits we gave him. Before leaving Ted to Erin and family the dog have been left to a kennel service for 3 days. He came back depressed, sick and dirty, so I was was very much concerned of leaving him again to strangers, bit honestly I never felt to deal with strangers with Erin and the Ted came back as he never left or as he was to a beautiful to auntie. I cannot thank them enough!”
