I have two kitties-my babies, of course, and leaving for an entire week wasn't easy. (Another app that is based around cat sitting didn't have a fraction of the sitters, so I was glad to find someone just as happy to cat sit.) I know she's great with them- especially since I was able to see lots of amazing pics of them after every visit. The shy one sat and let her scratch his neck within a couple days, so... yeah if you're a cat person, you know that's legit lol. I know your dogs would be in great hands, too! The litter areas were immaculate and everything was topped off. She even cleaned up the one "stomach incident," which I said not to worry about before leaving! (We discussed all the possible diet quirks and everything else imaginable prior to the trip.) About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! While I don’t have a yard, the Miami Bike Trail is right outside my door so theres plenty of opportunities for walks . About: As a SAHM and lifelong animal lover, I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet like family. I have an 11-year old Golden Retriever of my own so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Whether your pup needs a fun walk, loving companionship while you’re away, or your cat needs attentive care, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently a SAHM and with both of my kids starting school soon, I will have a lot of free time throughout the day to care for your pet. About: I have multiple years experience working in a doggy daycare, kennel, and shelter environment. I don't have a dog of my own quite yet, but I am working towards obtaining a certification in dog training. I worked for 5 years at a kennel, and my work there ranged from being a part of the doggy daycare in the back to customer service up front. In my time there I have become fairly knowledgeable on dog behavior, body language, etc. I have been lucky enough to care for more dogs than I could ever count, with personalities to match! They all hold a special place in my heart, and any dog under my care is treated how I would want my own pet treated. Pet care is always my top priority, both for my own and any pets I’m watching or caring for. I schedule my hours at work to be able to accommodate the animals I’m caring for. I tend to work mornings/ afternoons, and am able to stop in for a mid day potty break if needed. I do not care for pets in my own home, as my two cats are shy and take some time to adjust to new animals. But I dedicate myself to taking care of animals in their homes or if I have a dog out on a walk! I do my best to replicate the schedule and environment that pets are used to to keep them as comfortable as possible. Growing up taking care of dogs made me realize how special the bond can be between you and any furry friend. I have experience in my daily profession working as a dog bather and in a doggy daycare! I love making friends with all of them and making sure they're all taken care of like family. During your dogs adventure with me I'd like to make the experience the most comfortable and enjoyable for them as possible. Additional services such as nail trimming, trail hiking, adventures and training sessions can all be included as well! All pets must be completely up to date on rabies, bordetella and distemper vaccinations and documentation must be presented. The safety of your pet is my top priority! Full shot series proof required. I have a very friendly fur baby of my own so even on days that I work I find it essential to make sure he gets plenty of exercise for the day. We love to hike, go swimming, go to the dog park and run around together, and we both would enjoy having some extra company along the way! At home, we have tons of cuddles and love to give. We go on walks often and many other adventures. For example, the dog park, hikes, bike rides, runs (etc). I can give baths too but am still saving up for some supplies needed to properly bathe long coated dogs (we’d have to do some sun bathing to get dry!) I regular clip nails, so if you’re interested we can include that too. In terms of dog sitting, I’d love to include all of the same activities, with any accommodations needed!
About: I have worked at a boarding facility for four years. I played with dogs and cats there. I also have a dog as a pet. I’m in school right now. I’m available until 4:00 Tuesdays.
