About: I’ve been raised in a household with animals for over 10 years. I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter and I work part time as a dog groomer! I have experience in handling, feeding and caring for animals. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is pretty flexible. That being said I'd have a lot of time to spend with your animals! I have three dogs and four cats. I am experienced in dog walking and animal care. I could easily walk and crate your dog if needed

About: I have two cats and a dog all adopted from shelters. I treat pets as family members with love, respect, and responsibility. I believe that pets are choosing you to be their family. I ran my own business from home, so I can manage my schedule myself. That gives me more flexibility to take your dog on a walk or come check them in the afternoons. My dog walks in parks and trails, exercising, and playing every day. We do not have a fenced yard. I believe it is important to have quality walk time for the dogs. he also is going along with other dogs very well if that is something that you would prefer to add to your dog care time, I could walk them together.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a baby. When I got to middle school my friend asked to watch her dogs while her family was out of town and I agreed. While Covid was still around I would do virtual school and take care of our dogs while my parents worked. I am hoping to do this part time while I am home from college (Between Middle of May and Early August). I am available any time during the day. I can feed the dogs or medicine if needed, fill the water bowls, take them outside (a fenced yard is preferred please or trained), I am willing to walk dogs to get any energy out.

About: I have cared for cats for most of my life but 5 years ago my fiancé and I adopted my first dog. For the past 5 years, I’ve cared for my dog, Mary Jane, who has been my sweetest teacher in understanding dog behavior, routines, and communication. Through caring for her, I’ve gained hands-on experience with daily walking, feeding schedules, basic training reinforcement, administering simple medications, and creating a calm, consistent environment for a happy pup. I have also cared for many friends pets while they were away on vacation. I may be new to Rover, but I’m not new to being a responsible, attentive animal owner. Caring for animals is already woven into my daily rhythm. I work part-time with flexible hours, giving me plenty of space in my schedule for peaceful walks, playtime, and check-ins with pets. I’m used to creating a balanced routine around my own dog, and bringing that same calm, attentive energy to other pets feels completely natural. I am currently free to sit/walk any day of the week. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for them. I follow your routines exactly as you outline them — from feeding instructions to walk times to any training cues your dog is used to. I keep doors and gates secured, monitor their body language closely, and make sure they always have fresh water and a comfortable space to relax. Trust is extremely important to me, so I communicate clearly, send updates/photos, and treat your home with the same respect and care I treat your pet.

About: I love that my career gives me the flexibility to help other pet owners feel at peace that their animal is taken care of while they are away. "Happy to help" is something I frequently say and being able to get in my daily steps with your pets is just an added bonus. I have plenty of time for walks or checking in on your animals. My career gives me the opportunity to have a very flexible schedule to help other pet owners with dog walks or check-ins. Responsibility is key. I understand that it is important to keep your animal safe and healthy by making sure that on walks we are avoiding other dogs, just in case, safely secured on the leash, not walking on hot pavement and plenty of water on hot days out.

About: I had a dog for 12 years. We went on multiple long walks per day. He was active, but also loved to lounge around. I am the same way. If the dog is energetic, I will definitely being playing with them in the yard. If they like to chill out, they can relax on the couch. I am currently working from home. I have plenty of time to care for your pup. I enjoy dogs of all sizes and miss having one in my home. The dog will be well taken care of, and I am sure, will be a little spoiled while with me. They will get plenty of exercise and belly rubs - well balanced :) :) I currently work from home, so I will be with your dog all day! I will be able to talk your pup out for multiple walks throughout the day. I live in a community where I can take your dog on long walks in a quiet neighborhood. My house has plenty of room for your pup to roam around and make himself comfortable.

About: I've dog-sat for a number of people, including friends and family. Trained my own dog from a puppy, including a number of tricks! I do have some experience bathing, but my specialty is in company and walks! I go to school full time, and work for a few hours a week in the office. Talking care of and walking your pet would be as beneficial for them, as it is for me! I have gaps in my schedule that would accommodate the typical hours people are working! Although I cannot board pets in my own home, I can take care of pets in the environment around them. I would walk them around town, ensuring that they get the exercise they need, and even taking them to a fenced park, if that is something you feel comfortable with!

About: Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners! Please be aware that starting August 25th, I will be at work from 7:35 am-3:05 pm. I’m currently a full time as a high school teacher, so from 7:35-3:05 on week days, I’m usually at work. If I am pet sitting during the week, I head straight to the pets at the end of the work day. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer. I provide pet care in client’s homes, per the directions provided by the clients. Prior to caring for your pet(s), I ask that we arrange a time for me to meet your pet(s) and go over all pertinent information regarding their care and safety.

About: I have loved animals all my life, especially dogs, and I finally got a dog of my own two years ago. For years before that, I took care of dogs for friends and through Rover to get my dog fix! I am in my fourth year of med school and spend most of my time at home studying, and take lots of breaks to take my dog on walks and to nearby parks. I have a large fenced backyard where dogs can run! My dogs are very friendly with other dogs, and would love to have your dog as a playmate while you are away! I am in class 2-4 days out of the week, and each of those days am only there for 2-4 hours, so your dog will get lots of attention! I live with my fiancé who is also a dog lover, and one of us will be always be home or have the dogs with us if we are out. I live in an apartment, but am very active and I will take your dog on daily walks and to nearby parks. My apartment is spacious and has plenty of room for small and medium sized dogs to play!
