My fiancé works full time, so I am the full time caretaker of the animals. Stranger pets in my home are introduced calmly and carefully, as to maintain a safe environment for all. Higher energy dogs meet my shepheards first, calmer animals meet my old boy first. My animals stay leashed infront of guests until a calmness has been reached. I have separate feeding bowls for all animals, water is communal as to resist territorial behavior. If calmness can not be reached, I have space to separate any unrully animals as needed. As a stranger in another animals home, I aproach very calmly and happily to respect their space. I am very adaptable to understanding and applying a feeding/walking schedule. Play time is always important, and my favorite part of the day! Lots of play time and pets are given to fur babies.

About: I have loved animals all my life, especially dogs, and I finally got a dog of my own two years ago. For years before that, I took care of dogs for friends and through Rover to get my dog fix! I am in my fourth year of med school and spend most of my time at home studying, and take lots of breaks to take my dog on walks and to nearby parks. About: I have had dogs since I was a baby. I have cared for dogs of every stage of life, and I’m super passionate about senior dogs and small animals. Both my dogs are friendly with ferrets and other small animals, always supervised of course. I have experience in dogs, cats, ferrets, and all rodents. No experience with reptiles but I have read a lot about the husbandry of geckos and bearded dragons. Always willing to learn to have your pet be most comfortable in our home. I currently am a stay at home mom so I have plenty of extra time for animals. We (my boyfriend and I) already dedicate a huge portion of our time to our dogs so we would love to add more to the mix lol. My daughter (5yo) also loves animals and is learning the ropes of helping take care of them. We have a very big yard, and while it’s not fenced in there is still plenty of space to run on a lead! I can also help with potty training, pad training and lead training as well as socializing with our two very friendly goofy dogs.

The combination of Alyssa's genuine caring, responsible, dog loving, positive and communicative personality, along with Bruce as a playmate, and her dog friendly home with large fenced yard, Lola and Tucker were comfortable, happy and entertained. We felt confident our dogs were in a good hands. We used her for 5 nights and would use her services again as well as recommend her. We drove 50 min for her services and felt worth the distance.”
