About: Ive had dogs in my family ever since I was a kid. I have a 10 year old pit mix, a 13 year old husky, and a 1 year old husky, so I know how to care for multiple dogs at once and dogs of all ages, including puppies. I will care for your dog the way you would. I will take them on as many walks as youd like, and treat them as if they were my own. I get along very well with all dogs and I have plenty of experience. I dont trust my dog with just anybody, so I know how important it is to build that trust with your dog and to not change their comfortability and routine. I work from home, so I am free for as many walks or as much play time as needed! I am available all day every day, and your dogs will be my first priority. I can go on as many walks as needed, depending on the age and activity level of your dog. I have experience crate training my own dog if you need me to do that. I will care for your dog the same way as if youve never left.

About: I have been using TrustedHousesitter’s professionally part-time since November 2025 to take care of dogs and cats in their own home and ensure optimal comfort. I am looking to expand on my clientele through Rover, and help out more of the community! I feel lucky to have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I’m grateful for my childhood experience growing up on multiple different farms. With this experience I have learned how to take care of dogs; big and small, cats, horses, chickens, and other domesticated pets. I am an extremely emphatic person which I believe allows me to evaluate the needs, physical and emotional of the animal I am taking care of. I have experience with elderly pets, as well as administrating medicine. I would love to help you out! I am currently doing pet care, pet sitting, and housesitting part-time as I waitress in town as well. My most favorite part of my days are spending time outside with my pets or those who I am sitting :) I truly love to build meaningful relationships with every animal who comes into my care. This requires mutual respect, love and great care taken to ensure happy animals, and in turn happy families! I take considerable effort to learn the habits and schedules of each animal for flawless execution of my tasks. If I am housesitting, I will keep your home organized and ready for your return. I love cleaning and keeping a routine, I believe this benefits both the pets and myself. As a dog-walker I prioritize animal satisfaction, including lots of play, love, and positive reinforcement throughout our walk together.
“Absolutely exceeded my expectations. By miles. Flawless care for my babes and excellent communication. I was very comfortable leaving them in Marilyn and Mark's care, and would definitely do it again and again.”

I will have plenty of time to play with and care for your fur (or feather or scale or what have you!) babies! I have a small dog and a cat that are friendly and would get along well with other animals. I enjoy walking pets and cuddling as well!

“This is the third time I've had Leanne do drop-in visits for my kitty Bandit. I had to contact Leanne urgently as we needed to go out of town unexpectedly for my father's funeral. Leanne was very prompt with responding back to me and was able to do drop-in visits kind of last minute for several days. Leanne is super efficient and prompt and always gave me a detailed Rover card after each visit with a few photos. It was a load off my mind that Bandit was well cared for during this difficult time for me.”

About: If you need an overnight sitter, a walker, or just a play date for a couple hours, I’m your girl! I started pet sitting for a family I used to nanny for about 10 years ago and love caring for our families dogs. My husband and I got our own fur baby 3 years ago, a 100lb Chesapeake Bay Retriever, named Buoy. I make sure that every house I leave looks the same as it did when I enter, that includes making sure trash is taken out and dishes are out of the sink! I’ve dog sat pups from 8 weeks to 13 years and from the size of a teacup poodle to a 100 pound boxer, and I treat every one like my own. I also am very familiar with cats, my brother has 2, I love them just the same! I am working local to Lewes! My times for during the week would be before 9am and anytime after 5pm. I’m very comfortable doing overnights as well! I am currently in a 3 bedroom apartment, with my husband and our dog. We would be more than happy to allow any fur baby into our place. Our community is so pet friendly. Our dog has been living in an apartment since we got him and he has been leash trained, so I have plenty of experience with dogs on leashes including prong collars, gentle leaders, and any type of leash.
About: I have my own dog of nearly six years, and I have a lot of experience taking care of friends and family members dogs as well! Pet care is a part of my daily life back home in Maryland, and I am so exicted to make it apart of my life here in college as well!! I have a fenced in yard at my home, and my own dog was raised in a pen/crate, so I am able to put your dog in a crate if needed! I am also familiar with both collars and harnesses so your dog can be walked no matter what!
About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.
“Ronni did an amazing job with my 6month old twins. The puppy manners are not so great, yet Ronni was able to get them to cooperate and take a walk like good standing citizens...she sent me a picture and made me a proud fur-Mom. When I got back home....both crates were still dry....no accidents! Yay! Thank you Ronni! Hope to see you again soon ?”

About: I have been taking care of my families pets since I was 13. Spending time with animals is one of the best ways to spend a day, especially when meeting new furry friends! I am currently working a serving position over the summer during my summer break from college, so my schedule can fluctuate, but mainly revolves around evening shifts. I am very good at communicating when I am available or not, and am totally okay with dedicating my days off to spend time with your pets! Preferably, I would like to care for animals in your own home, as I have two cats at home who are okay with other cats, but not so much bigger/more active dogs. I have a car so I am able to transport your pets and I to and from walks, homes, etc.

About: Hey, I’m Ashley Martin! I love dogs. I have two dogs, Teddy and Cappy. Teddy is a Pomeranian and Cappy is a German Shepherd mixed. I’m used to handling small and big dogs. I’m currently working part time and I have a flexible schedule on weekdays. I have free time to pet sit your amazing dogs on the weekdays! I’m more than happy to work weekends if needed. I personally will not able to care for your dogs in my home as I have family not comfortable with dogs. However, I’d be more than happy to care for your dogs in your home! I’II treat them as if they were my own.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats ever since I was 14-years-old. I was an active volunteer at Humane Animal Partners in Rehoboth Beach and have helped organize multiple donation drives for the SPCA. I’ve had pets my entire life. I have 4 years experience caring for dogs and cats in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, Harbeson, and Milford. I work a hybrid job that is really flexible in days and times. I can work any pet care demands into my schedule. If I am not working from home, I am on the roads, making drop ins and walking throughout the day no problem. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
