I currently have a beautiful black cat who likes to be queen of the castle so I’m happy to care for your pets in your home.

“After another sitter canceled last minute, Emily was able to come in and watch my cats on short notice (over the holiday, at that!) She always did her check-ins in a timely manner and provided detailed updates. I’m very happy and would book with her again.”

“Absolutely exceeded my expectations. By miles. Flawless care for my babes and excellent communication. I was very comfortable leaving them in Marilyn and Mark's care, and would definitely do it again and again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs before in the past for friends and families, from small dogs to bigger dogs, I’ve walked them and watched them and every time the customer had trust in me with their pet. I’m currently working full time but I have time after work in the evening and weekends to walk and watch pets, preferably around 4 on week days and anytime on weekends. I have a fence in my backyard with a mesh so that my dog doesn’t run through it, I also have a camera in the backyard to make sure my dog doesn’t fall into the pool. In clients homes I constantly watch and interact with the pets and make sure they get the attention they deserve.

“Lucia is fantastic. We are first time reptile owners and it was great to know that our sitter has a lot of experience taking care of tortoises. We were able to leave the country knowing Ged was in capable and caring hands. She is communicative and understanding of our needs. We will definitely be rebooking with Lucia in the future!”

About: We are a household of animal lovers! Both my husband and I have had dogs and cats all of our lives, even spent time training dogs to be good citizens and therapy dogs. We currently have four dogs and two kids. All of our dogs are rescues. They are super lovable and playful. We also volunteer for a beagle rescue and foster dogs. Your pets will get lots of snuggles and playtime when we watch and walk them. For visits and walks, your pup will love the snuggles and time spent playing and walking your area (or even going for a car ride or to a walking trail or dog park). For cat visits, we will give playtime indoors. We have helped many family members and friends with pet care when they are away. We have experience in all diets, giving oral meds and senior dog care. We hope that you will give our services a try. I am self employed and work from home. Typically available for mid day let out/walk. If your pet stays with us we have a great yard for play and we do multiple walks a day. We regularly foster dogs so our dogs are very comfortable with other dogs visiting. We treat any dog that stays with us or that we visit just like our own. We provide a loving, fun place for your pet while you are away.

About: Hi there! My name is Valentina and any dog I’ve met I have loved like my own. I am a pet lover, young and old, big and small! I lived most of my childhood surrounded by farm animals: cows, goats, sheeps, dogs, birds, cats, pigs. Growing up, I had different dogs and cats that I cared about as pets at my gransparent's house. Then, I've bought a Pug named Max. He is 12 years old now. Moving to US 1 year ago made it difficult to see him. He remained with my family back in Europe. I miss him so much and I will care and treat any pet the same as Max. From pet sitting, long or short walks, boarding, I’ve got experience with it all! Teaching them tricks, long walks or just playing with them was always a fun time! Any specific requests for them ? Let me know! I will keep the pets happy and healthy!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
