“If you’re looking for the best in Milton, DE, look no further. Jessica by far is the BEST!! I have a senior bichonpoo who is fussy and Jessica cared for him so well. I knew he was in good hands when I brought him to her house on the first day and he didn’t want to leave. I received pictures and he looked so happy and rested. Thank you for taking such excellent care of my special baby, well senior dog. Will be back when I go to Bethany Beach, DE again. Tiki misses you already! Jessica is such a lovely person too!!”

“Megan W and her family were fantastic! Not only was she a delight to communicate with, my dog clearly loved her and her home, The pictures she sent of my furbaby showed him undeniably smiling ear to ear. She is a little bit off the beaten path which is exactly why I chose her as we were on our way to Rehoboth. It was an easy and short detour to drop our little buddy off on our way. Her place has plenty of shade, fencing, and other pups for my dog to enjoy. I will definitely be rebooking with Megan W in the future!”

“Marysue is the most loving caregiver to all her paw friends! We love coming to Rehoboth and Luca so enjoys being with MarySue for his stay. Thank you Trish Hnat”

“Sylvia was a perfect fit for our dog. Daisy tends to be a little shy but was best friends with Sylvia within an hour.. if that. Sylvia was great at sending me pictures throughout the day of my furbaby. Daisy looked very comfortable and relaxed. When I went to pick her up, Daisy had already claimed Sylvia as her person and did not recognize me for about 15 seconds..which felt like a lifetime. Although I felt alitte jolted..it showed me that my dog really liked Sylvia and that..my friends..is priceless. Thank you once again for becoming my dogs... person.. while we are on vacation.”

“Eric is the dog whisperer! Snoopy felt comfortable right away and made himself at home. There were thunderstorms during our trip and Snoopy dreads these but Eric made sure to give him extra comfort and care and send us photos. It was so nice to see our pup calm and happy when we picked him up. Much appreciate how Eric understands dogs intuitively!”

“Kelly was wonderful and sent pictures throughout the day. We so appreciate her diligence in helping us with our dogs. One of our dogs requires daily medicine and an ointment. Kelly didn’t seem to have an issue with it and took wonderful care.”

“My 2 girls were so happy with Sandee, i could not have asked for better care of my two spoilt pups! I am very grateful to Sandee for taking my girls for the afternoon, which freed us up to do the necessary things related to purchasing a home. I won't hesitate to go back to Sandee and trust her with my precious fur babies. Thank you Sandee!!!!”

“We moved to the area recently and searched for a new pet sitter. My husband and I could not be anymore happier with the care Karen and Sean provided to our Molly! Our Molly felt right at home on her first stay. Karen and Sean took Molly on walks and gave her plenty of playtime. Definitely will be using Karen again in the future ❤️”

“Paula helped us out with a last minute booking, she was incredible! Quick and clear communication! From my mom: “she's amazing sent me about 4 pictures letting me know he was such a good boy and getting along with other dogs. I was so happy to have her do that for me. Really happy with her! Definitely gonna use her again” thanks Paula!!!”
“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. Nacho will definitely be staying with Nicole the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Lori was so wonderful and caring with my dog Precious. I knew that she was in great hands while I was away. Lori treated Precious like family and made her feel right at home. I would highly recommend Lori to care for your dog!”

“Bailey had a great time staying with Brenda. She was wonderful sending pictures to me. Has a very nice fenced yard--perfect for the dogs to play. I will definitely have Bailey stay there again!!”

“Paige was great. She was available on short notice and was accommodating to a weird drop-off time due to bad weather. She was attentive to my animals needs and it was obvious my pup had a great time with her. She sent tons of pictures and videos and gave comprehensive daily updates. I would absolutely recommend this sitter and will be using her again in the future.”

“Michele and Paul were great! I was sent super cute pictures everyday! I love how they included Mayzie in everything they did while they had her! I will definitely use her again!”

“Cory was friendly and knew a lot about puppies. We were very comfortable leaving our six month old Finnegan with him. He has a big yard and a fenced in deck. I would bring Finnegan the next time I’m in the area.”

About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. My dog recently passed but we used to take lots of daily walks and had lots of interactions.

About: I have grown up with dogs and adore them. I have signed up with rover.com to offer dog walking and pet sitting on a part time basis after work and on the weekends. In the past, I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker and have helped family members & friends with their dogs while they were on vacation. I enjoy dog walking and giving dogs TLC by cuddling or playing by throwing a ball around or tug of war. Most of my experiece has been with small and medium dogs of different breeds, however, I mostly walked large dogs at BARCS so I can help with large dogs as long as they are well behaved on a leash. Psychology background helps with understanding behavior. This background includes extensive work with college students that have documented disabilities. Patient and physically active throughout the year. Why I love dog sitting * This is an update to the profile information listed below. I adopted a Senior Boston Terrier 4 ago so I took a break from Rover.com. She is older now so it is a good time to get back on rover part time until my schedule changes. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.

About: I’ve spent years caring for cats of my own and absolutely love the opportunity to spend time with them. I’m comfortable with litter box care, feeding schedules and picking up on the subtle behavior changes that matter with cats. I focus on keeping a calm environment and keeping their routine as normal as possible while you’re away.
“Sierra was great. She is young and sweet and loves animals. Priced really well. She spent a lot of time with my cat and sent me photos. I recommend. She seems to be busy with other clients so book ahead!”

“Zelle was tremendous! When we first met she put me at ease right away, so friendly and asking such good questions. She really wanted to understand our dogs differing needs. During our absence, she checked in at our agreed upon times and sent lovely pictures at each check-in. It was such a comfort to know my fur babies were cared for so lovingly. Will not hesitate to call on her again.”

“Jacob did an outstanding job caring for our rabbit, Bunny, while we were away. He was incredibly communicative, responded quickly to every message, and always arrived on time, staying for the full visit. He had no trouble giving Bunny her medication, sent thoughtful updates and great photos after each visit, and made us feel completely at ease. We also came home to everything spotless and exactly as we had left it, which we really appreciated. We wouldn't hesitate to book Jacob again and will absolutely be asking him to watch Bunny the next time we travel!”

“Kendra was great! She came over ahead of time to get acquainted with my place and what I needed her to help with during my absence, and she took good care of my cats while I was gone. She even got pictures of them, which was amazing since they usually run from anyone who isn't me. I will definitely reach out to Kendra if I need further care in the future.”

“Extremely calm and knowledgeable. Knew exactly how to introduce our Boston Terrier to her own dogs. Everything went smoothly. Her home was immaculate and organized. She sent pictures frequently. Our dog looked extremely relaxed and happy in her home. She came home exhausted from playing in their large fenced in yard. I felt very safe, leaving our precious pup with Meghan.”

“Jessica is amazing with Fur babies. Very accommodating and professional. My Tug love going there. Its always a great day whenever he spends his day with her. Her dog Tashi is very good with other dogs. Tug's favorite retreat is his stay at Jessica's. Highly recommended 👌”

“Bob and Susan enthusiastically welcomed our dog and made him part of their family for the day. Grover had a great time, felt their love, and had a hard time saying goodbye. “I cannot say enough great things about Michele! She has given me my life back! I have two little rescues that are highly reactive and do not like anyone, so consequently I have been unable to leave them. After talking with Michele and getting a sense of her experience and patience with rescue.dogs such as mine I decided to give her a try...and it went beautifully! My dogs had a great time with her and loved her...and cannot wait to go back again! Michele is truly not just very much a professional but is gifted with animals as well.”

“Michele was awesome, put both Sadie and me at ease immediately. Sadie hadn’t stayed with a sitter for over 3 years but she was calm and affectionate with Michele and I’m not sure she wanted to leave! I’ll definitely use her services again.”

“Liane is AMAZING! I have never used a service like this before and I was so nervous leaving my boy. She was so kind and trustworthy. She sent me pictures of him playing and was so gracious answering my texts. If I could give 10 stars, I would. I can’t thank her enough!”

About: Taking care of animals brings me so much joy! I live at the beach and love walking dogs through my neighborhood to the beach. I am comfortable controlling big, strong dogs on walks. I grew up with 2 dogs and have always loved animals. My sister is a veterinarian and has taught me a lot. She is on call if your animal has any health issues. I’m in a career transition right now, so your business so greatly appreciated ❤️ I am a yoga instructor working part time, so I have a lot of time for your pets! My typical day is: wake up early, walk the dog I’m caring for, feed the pup, let out again, then teach yoga. I’m gone for about 3 hours then return home for a long walk with the pup :) then we relax at home as I typically work on my computer. Your pup will be the only dog in my house - he or she will have all my love and attention! I am happy to have your pet sleep in my bed and lay on my couch if they want! I love walking and have plenty of have time for long walks. I have training on how to safely handle reactive dogs on leash. I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

“I had the pleasure to meet Debra and have her take care of my puppy. Debra was able to take care of my puppy at the last minute. Debra has a beautiful home with lots of space for the pets she cares. “So glad to have found Christina to take care of our dog Lucky during our recent trip to the beach. She's warm and friendly and took care of Lucky as if he were her own. She communicated promptly and clearly. She was so flexible with our vacation schedule and sent us adorable pictures of Lucky throughout the day. I'd definitely rebook with Christina, no question.”

“Communication from Marilyn from the get go was great. Mark ended up watching our Berner, Nessie, for the day and things went great. Wonderful family to care for our dog! Will reach out again when visiting my parents at the beach.”

“Kate was fantastic taking care of Kyzer while we were camping at the Jersey Shore! She was communicative, reliable, and it was so clear how much she genuinely cared for him — she sent updates that put our minds completely at ease while we were away. Kyzer was happy, relaxed, and well-cared-for the whole time. We came back to a dog who was clearly having a great time with her. Highly recommend Kate to anyone looking for a sitter who treats your pet like their own. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.
“Great communication! Clean and appropriate environment. Despite Axe's terrible anxiety, he loved Cory and never fussed one bit. We will definitely be using Cory's daycare again!”

Lily truly loves and has a way with dogs.”

I offer a full range of flexible care options to fit your schedule: -Boarding & House Sitting: Your dog can vacation at my house or stay cozy in theirs. -Drop-In Visits & Dog Walking: Perfect for quick bathroom breaks, playtime, or burning off energy. -Fully Fenced Yard: My home features a secure, fenced-in yard where your dogs can safely run, fetch, and play to their heart's content. For years, I have been the go-to pet sitter and dog walker for my family, friends, and coworkers. I am reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to keeping your dog's exact routine intact. Whether your pup needs a high-energy walk, a strict medication routine, or just a lot of couch cuddles, I will treat them exactly like my own! I am a local Realtor with The Lee Ann Wilkinson Group at BHHS Penfed Realty, meaning my professional life requires some flexibility! However, I am always free after 5:00 PM for evening walks, drop-ins, or feedings! My real estate calendar is finalized weekly, so my Rover calendar is always kept strictly up-to-date. About: I have three dogs at home! Lucy, Scotch and Sage! I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 8 (and I am now almost 24)! Well I’ve been around dogs since I was born because my grandparents love dogs too but I was 8 years old when my mom bought our first dog. Then after that they just kept coming haha! Everyone knows me as the dog lover because I really do think they are the cutest animals ever! I work from home so I’ll be able to be with the dogs at all times. I won’t ever leave the dog alone for more than two hours. I will always be by the dog and giving it lots of love! Feeding is as instructed and take the dog out every 2-3 hours.
About: Genuine love for dogs, because I don’t just “watch” dogs, I connect with them. I pay attention to their personality, mood, and needs to make every walk enjoyable💗 Currently I am working at souvenirs shop and have two schedule hours like 4pm-10pm and 9:30am-4pm and two days off. This schedule changes every week, but hours stay the same. I create a calm, safe, and pet-friendly environment where dogs feel comfortable and secure. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest. I make sure pets have enough space to relax, and I closely supervise them at all times. I also adjust care based on each dog’s personality- whether they need more activity, attention, or quiet time.
About: I absolutely love animals- both my own and other families pets! I moved to Lewes a few years ago from New Jersey and love being active outside and by the beach. My family and I adopted a dog a few years ago and she has brought so much joy to our family. I am very flexible with my daily schedule and around on most weekends and holidays. I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings as well as overnights. I am good with medications and open to any specific needs your pet might have. My cat and dog both have kidney disease, so I have great experience with both oral and injectable medications.
About: I have my own dog of nearly six years, and I have a lot of experience taking care of friends and family members dogs as well! Pet care is a part of my daily life back home in Maryland, and I am so exicted to make it apart of my life here in college as well!! I have a fenced in yard at my home, and my own dog was raised in a pen/crate, so I am able to put your dog in a crate if needed! I am also familiar with both collars and harnesses so your dog can be walked no matter what!
About: Owner of two Huskies. My sister has two dogs she trains for agility contests. My friend competes in dog show contests. I love dogs and they love me. I am available 7 days a week. At all hours of the day. Including Holidays and weekends. responsible and always reliable to show up and care for your dog.

“Kelly was wonderful and sent pictures throughout the day. We so appreciate her diligence in helping us with our dogs. One of our dogs requires daily medicine and an ointment. Kelly didn’t seem to have an issue with it and took wonderful care.”

“Martha is WONDERFUL!! She was very professional and made sure we had an introductory meeting and my girls were comfortable in her home and with her sweetheart pup Danny. Martha also asked detailed questions to understand how to provide the best care. She was accommodating to my travel schedule and kept me posted on the girls throughout the trip. The girls were very relaxed and happy when I picked them up. I’m looking forward to working with Martha again in the future.”

“Carlie and her husband were an excellent pet sitters for our Jack Russell dog. They were very caring, reliable and accommodating to our schedule. We traveled from New York and be were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about our pet because she was in good hands.”

“Christina and her family were great! We had to find a last minute sitter for our dog, Charlie, who we had never left with anyone but family before. We were nervous to leave her with someone we’d never met, but Christina eased all of our fears. We received multiple pictures every day of Char having a blast. She clearly had a great time when we picked and we would definitely have her stay with Christina again!”

“Neena was responsive, flexible, and helpful at all times. We booked Neena as we were taking a trip away from home and were boarding our two dogs for the first time. We found the whole experience straightforward and she went the extra mile to make sure they were both comfortable and happy during their stay. We would absolutely recommend Neena to anyone looking for quality pet care!”

“I am so incredibly grateful for Samantha and her family. Her communication from the start was so reassuring. She asked all the right questions when I dropped her off and I knew she was in good hands. She sent tons of pictures and it was clear that Daisy was totally enjoying herself and felt comfortable in her new space. When I picked her up, my heart totally melted by how happy she was. I will ABSOLUTELY be using Samantha in the future! I highly recommend!”
