“Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. About: I have had a dog my entire life and have consistently cared for my neighbors pets as well! Alongside this I have also fostered a number of puppies while they were in search for a home as well as volunteered with my local animal shelter a number of times. I always ensure that every animal gets the best care! As a student at CU Boulder I do have classes 5 days a week, but other than those periods that I will be at class my schedule is super flexible! While I do not have any animals in Boulder, I do have a dog and cat at home which I am always attentive to. About: I have volunteered at the SPCA for three years, taking care of small dogs, large dogs, and even cats. I even take care of people's pets in my neighborhood. Currently fitting pet care into my daily routine is no problem at all. I am a part time college student but I don't go back until the winter. I stay at home full time so I will be able to spend all day with your pet. As far as pets go, I have a very friendly lab mix named Kaya and a cat named Snickers. I also have two leopard geckos named Mushu and Yoshi. Kaya is fed twice a day, morning and evening. And Snickers is a grazer so he eats whenever he wants. I have a fenced in yard which Kaya adores. Whenever other dogs come over I let them out into the yard so they can run around and play. The yard is about half an acre and the fence is 4 and a half feet tall.

About: I have taken care of my immediate families, and aunt and uncles dogs for over 15 years, and have looked after friend’s dogs numerous times for long weekends. I have been doing Rover for almost 3 years now and have built a consistent and repeat dog sitting clientele within the Lewes/Rehoboth beach area. I currently have a fully remote job with flexible hours where I can take time throughout my day for pet care. Whether that be feeding, walks or just spending time with them. I will carefully watch the dogs in the yard, leash them when requested/needed to ensure safety and play with them in the yard for great exercise!
About: I have been using TrustedHousesitter’s professionally part-time since November 2025 to take care of dogs and cats in their own home and ensure optimal comfort. I am looking to expand on my clientele through Rover, and help out more of the community! I feel lucky to have been surrounded by animals my entire life. I’m grateful for my childhood experience growing up on multiple different farms. With this experience I have learned how to take care of dogs; big and small, cats, horses, chickens, and other domesticated pets. I am an extremely emphatic person which I believe allows me to evaluate the needs, physical and emotional of the animal I am taking care of. I have experience with elderly pets, as well as administrating medicine. I would love to help you out! I am currently doing pet care, pet sitting, and housesitting part-time as I waitress in town as well. My most favorite part of my days are spending time outside with my pets or those who I am sitting :) I truly love to build meaningful relationships with every animal who comes into my care. This requires mutual respect, love and great care taken to ensure happy animals, and in turn happy families! I take considerable effort to learn the habits and schedules of each animal for flawless execution of my tasks. If I am housesitting, I will keep your home organized and ready for your return. I love cleaning and keeping a routine, I believe this benefits both the pets and myself. As a dog-walker I prioritize animal satisfaction, including lots of play, love, and positive reinforcement throughout our walk together.

About: Hi, I'm Paige! Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly love. I grew up with dogs and cats, and my parents currently have two 100+ pound Rottweilers, so I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We also bred our female Rottweiler and raised 12 healthy puppies, giving me hands-on experience caring for dogs through every stage of life. For more than 15 years, family, friends and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, administer medication and care for their pets while they're away. I've cared for dogs, cats, birds and small animals, and I treat every pet like they're part of my own family. I know how important it is to find someone you trust, so I'll keep you updated with plenty of photos and regular communication while your pet is in my care. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable and loved until you're back home. Pet care fits well into my weekly routine! I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, which gives me plenty of flexibility for walks, playtime and drop-in visits throughout the day. On Tuesdays through Thursdays, I work in the office during the day but am available before and after work, as well as for overnight stays. No matter the day, I make it a priority to provide dependable care, stick to your pet's routine and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages. I will leave your place better than I found it and leave your dog happier than before! My dogs at home have been crate trained and I am willing to crate your fur babies as well! Just leave me specific instructions on what you need for the day and you will come home stress-free!
