About: Taking care of animals has always come very naturally to me! As a child I liked to run around the farm I lived on searching for kittens and petting horses. As someone who has loved and nurtured many of my own pets over the years, I naturally gravitated towards taking care of others beloved fur children. I have knowledge of different diets and have had both cats and dogs on raw diets as well as standard diets. I also have experience with senior animals, and their special needs. I started out helping friends or parents of friends when they would travel and have now found myself offering services to others and growing my business. I absolutely love pet sitting and helping families feel comfortable as they travel or are at work for the day. When I am at your home I make sure to not only nurture and love on your pets but to take care of your space. I offer daily updates if preferred and collect mail, keep things tidy, etc. I am able to give some medicine if required and enjoy the company of all ages of animals. I have experience mostly with cats and dogs but am open to taking care of smaller critters too. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet and greet! I offer pet sitting at your home Monday-Sunday with a flexible schedule. I am available for drop ins and overnight stays. My main focus is pet sitting. When staying with your pet or even just dropping in, I can feed, play, crate, or give some meds to your pet if necessary. I am able to take walks or run around for a bit in the back yard. My goal is to always make the pet and the owner feel as comfortable as possible while maintaining a normal routine where necessary. I ask that owners leave detailed instructions so I can accommodate your animals as best as possible. I also request that any cameras in the home be notified to myself before I stay and I like to be clear that my partner may sometimes stay with me for overnights.
“Absolutely thrilled with Sam’s services! She maintained contact with us providing updates and photos of all 3 of our pups. It was wonderful to have peace of mind knowing they were cared for.”

“Thank you Jacob for taking such good care of Tank. It’s the first time we’ve needed someone to care for tank while we were out so long. If I need the service again. I will absolutely book with you.”

About: I’ve been a pet owner for most of my life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses. I’ve raised two dogs from puppyhood, cared for multiple cats, and understand the daily commitment, patience, and responsibility that come with being a devoted pet owner. What sets me apart is my comfort level with a wide range of pet care needs. I have experience administering medications, including injections and IV treatments, and I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, and overall well-being. While I’m not a professional trainer, I’ve successfully trained several of my own dogs and enjoy working with animals to reinforce good habits and routines. (I even taught my horse how to give kisses!) Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and understand that every pet has a unique personality. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, young and learning, or older and needing a little extra care, I’ll treat them with the same patience, attention, and affection I give my own animals. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life. As a lifelong pet owner, caring for animals has always been part of my routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide dependable care, whether that means daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, medication administration, or simply giving pets companionship and attention while their owners are away. Because I understand the importance of consistency for animals, I make it a priority to follow each pet’s established routine as closely as possible. Whether your pet thrives on playtime and activity or prefers a quieter pace, I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I also believe communication is important, so I make time to send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my goal is to maintain their normal routine as closely as possible. I know pets are most comfortable in familiar surroundings, so I take the time to learn their schedule, preferences, and any special instructions before care begins. During visits, I ensure pets have fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed and keeping a close eye on their overall well-being. Because I’ve cared for animals my entire life, I understand the importance of noticing changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. I treat every client’s home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean, secure, and following all household instructions. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away.

About: First, I apologize for the dog poo pictures in my profile. I had a sick dog here and had to quickly get the owner pictures and forgot to uncheck the box that automatically adds the photos I send to my profile and Rover prohibits the deletion of these photos. Ok- I have an affinity for all dogs, having cared for my family dogs growing up and then my own for the last 12 years, but I have a soft spot for those older dogs that need a but more time and patience. I just laid to rest my very best friend, Josie; she was likely 16. I have plenty of time to spend with your dog right now, after just losing my k9 companion, and would love to care for them in your absence either with visits, walks, daycare or boarding. I am a clean, organized, responsible dog companion who pays attention to the needs of your best friend and is respectful of your home and property. Please respect mine, and plan to drop off your dog for boarding only after being recently bathed and/or groomed.
“Marie made eight drop-in visits for our cat Ashes. And unlike past sitters who rarely caught a glimpse of our very shy 16-year-old, Ashes apparently couldn’t wait for Marie to arrive. She also sent us several photos. Well done Marie!”

About: It was never quiet growing up with as many as four dogs in the house at a time (plus a cat, bird, hamster, turtles, geckos, and fish - and working at a local horse barn throughout high school and college). It’s not quiet now as my senior rescue dachshund loves to let you know when the mail lady has dared to leave a package on the porch. All that to say, I’m comfortable and have always been around a variety of pets. Since Dec. 2023, I’ve been a volunteer dog walker for Humane Animal Partners (HAP), in Rehoboth. There, I’ve walked countless dogs, ranging from ones who are ready to take on the world to ones who need to know you’ve got their back and need you to go slow. I have experience taking care of older dogs, my first rescue was 9 when I got him and my current rescue is 11 and a slow mover. I work from home during normal business and have some flexibility during the day depending on the day. I can do overnight stays during the work-week, but need to discuss your pet’s daytime needs to make sure it’s a good fit. I’m happy to give your dog the time and attention s/he needs to be as relaxed as possible while you’re away. Between having shy dogs of my own and volunteering at the animal shelter, I give dogs space and allow them time to sniff and warm up to me before we go out. I’ll take your lead as to things I need to know about what makes your dog’s personality shine.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, both puppies and full grown! I love when I am able to let dogs see the world since they don’t have much time to. I currently am an online student, and work a part time 8-4. I have all of the time in the world for your pet. I am super flexible! I have a big unfenced yard, but have a fenced dog park 2 minutes from me. If your dog needs accommodations I can provide them for you.
About: I have grown up with dogs and adore them. I have signed up with rover.com to offer dog walking and pet sitting on a part time basis after work and on the weekends. In the past, I have volunteered at BARCS as a dog walker and have helped family members & friends with their dogs while they were on vacation. I enjoy dog walking and giving dogs TLC by cuddling or playing by throwing a ball around or tug of war. Most of my experiece has been with small and medium dogs of different breeds, however, I mostly walked large dogs at BARCS so I can help with large dogs as long as they are well behaved on a leash. Psychology background helps with understanding behavior. This background includes extensive work with college students that have documented disabilities. Patient and physically active throughout the year. Why I love dog sitting * This is an update to the profile information listed below. I adopted a Senior Boston Terrier 4 ago so I took a break from Rover.com. She is older now so it is a good time to get back on rover part time until my schedule changes. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.
About: I have had a dog my entire life and have consistently cared for my neighbors pets as well! Alongside this I have also fostered a number of puppies while they were in search for a home as well as volunteered with my local animal shelter a number of times. I always ensure that every animal gets the best care! As a student at CU Boulder I do have classes 5 days a week, but other than those periods that I will be at class my schedule is super flexible! While I do not have any animals in Boulder, I do have a dog and cat at home which I am always attentive to. I take my dog on at least 2 walks a day and make sure that he gets all his energy out before night so we can both sleep well!
About: I absolutely love animals! At home, I have 2 small cats named Duckie and Elsie. While cats will always haves special place in my heart, I am open to all animals! I have 10 years of paid experience and would love to walk, pet, play, and care for your pet! I don’t currently work, and can provide lots of time with your furry friend! I am currently in grad school online, but not working. I can provide lots of flexibility and free time when it comes to watching your furry friend! I would love to come to your home to keep your fur babies company, while also respecting your home and keeping an eye on things.

About: Hey, I’m Ashley Martin! I love dogs. I have two dogs, Teddy and Cappy. Teddy is a Pomeranian and Cappy is a German Shepherd mixed. I’m used to handling small and big dogs. I’m currently working part time and I have a flexible schedule on weekdays. I have free time to pet sit your amazing dogs on the weekdays! I’m more than happy to work weekends if needed. I personally will not able to care for your dogs in my home as I have family not comfortable with dogs. However, I’d be more than happy to care for your dogs in your home! I’II treat them as if they were my own.
