About: First, I apologize for the dog poo pictures in my profile. I had a sick dog here and had to quickly get the owner pictures and forgot to uncheck the box that automatically adds the photos I send to my profile and Rover prohibits the deletion of these photos. Ok- I have an affinity for all dogs, having cared for my family dogs growing up and then my own for the last 12 years, but I have a soft spot for those older dogs that need a but more time and patience. I just laid to rest my very best friend, Josie; she was likely 16. *** I do prefer to stay local to Lewes, east of route 1, especially during tourist season ** I have plenty of time to spend with your dog right now, after just losing my k9 companion, and would love to care for them in your absence either with visits, walks, daycare or boarding. I am a clean, organized, responsible dog companion who pays attention to the needs of your best friend and is respectful of your home and property. Please respect mine, and plan to drop off your dog for boarding only after being recently bathed and/or groomed.

About: I’ve been around and owned pets my entire life, and know how important it is to have someone you can rely on while you’re away. I have experience with puppies and kittens as well as elderly animals. I am reliable and communicative, and I will always prioritize the health and happiness of your pet. I work full time (8-5) currently while taking pre-requisite classes for nursing school, so my availability is mainly in the evenings and on weekends. I’m available for evening visits and walks, and I can also do overnights on the weekends. Midday visits or lunch walks may be possible on some days, but my daytime schedule can vary, so those would just need to be planned in advance! I care for pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable and able to stick to their normal routine. I follow instructions closely and make sure they get attention, companionship and a calm presence while you’re away. When house sitting, I keep the home tidy and secure - my goal is to reduce stress for both pets and owners.

Patient and physically active throughout the year. Why I love dog sitting * This is an update to the profile information listed below. I adopted a Senior Boston Terrier 4 ago so I took a break from Rover.com. She is older now so it is a good time to get back on rover part time until my schedule changes. I have been a dog lover since I was a baby. My mom told me I used to chase the dogs in my baby walker. My immediate family owned small dogs and the rest of my family owned medium and large dogs. Some of the breeds that I had with my family were pugs and a Pekingese. I have taken care of Cocker spaniels, Yorkshire terriers, German Shepard and black labs who were owned by friends/family. When I volunteered at BARCS, I walked dogs that were mostly pit bulls, rotties and mixed breeds (usually pit bull mixes). My experience administering medication I have experience with routine items like giving heart worm pills and flea & tick spray/lotion, as well as some experience with ear infection medication. I am not opposed to administering medication it if the owner is willing to provide training and if the dog is comfortable with me. I work full time. I’m available on a part time basis in the evenings during the week and on the weekends. If I’m off from work, I’m happy to help as well. I treat other peoples dogs like family. I don’t offer dog boarding in my home because my work schedule doesn’t permit it. But, if I’m house sitting at another persons home, I’ll make sure I’m following the instructions/routine from the pet owner, give the dog/s plenty of TLC, playtime and food. I’ll also make sure the dogs are secure in their owners home, and keep the place tidy.
