Pet Sitting Madison Park

About: While I don't have much traditional dog-sitting experience, growing up, I had 2 dogs, a Maltese and a Maltese Shih Tsu mix. My last dog, Oreo, was a Maltese-Shih Tsu mix, who passed away from old age when I was in college. I was always diligent about training him, and I often bathed him myself. He was fully potty trained by me with the help of google, and he knew plenty of cute tricks. He also had a tendency to run off every chance he got, but I was always able to find him easily and bring him home safely. I also had regular play dates with my cousins' dogs, and sometimes I would dog sit for them. I'm pictured with my cousin's elderly yorkie, Roy, who was rocking his sunglasses in his little bag because he was incontinent, couldn't walk any more, and needed 24/7 care. I didn't want to get another dog after Oreo because of my busy class schedule and my finances, and now I travel for work, so I don't feel comfortable having to leave them behind all the time. I'm hoping I can spend more time with some fur babies until I can get a more stationary job, and hopefully get another furry companion! In the morning, I can check in as late as 7am before work, depending on distance. After work, I have an irregular work schedule, so I can often check-in as early as 1 or 2 pm. If I have a late night scheduled, the latest I head out is 5:30pm. If you trust me to enter your home, I assure you I am responsible and respectful of other's property, and I try to leave things better than I found them, if I absolutely have to move or borrow something. Im great with following instructions, so I can accommodate any special requests and respect and unique boundaries. I am also respectful of your pets space, and I will always start with a cautious introduction. I understand dogs and cats body language, and Im confident that I can establish a positive relationship with your fur baby, to make sure your absence, and my strange presence has as little stress on them as possible! I also understand that it can be difficult to be away from your fur baby, so I am willing to keep you updated however much you need to feel comfortable, especially the first time we work together.

I’ll also follow any specific instructions you provide regarding feeding, medications, routines, or special needs. Most importantly, I treat every pet in my care the way I would want someone to treat my own. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of our family dogs (mastiffs, labs, and basset hounds) since I was a kid and have regularly cat-sit for family members and friends since I was 14. From giving medicine to cleaning up accidents I’ve probably handled anything your pet could throw at me before, and if they manage to give me something new I’m happy to learn! I work full time in a corporate office so I’m available outside the hours of 8:30a-5:30p (most days) to check up on your pets. I’m more than happy to make drop in visits on my lunch if I can! I want to make sure your pet is as comfortable as possible when I’m there! Treating your pet how you normally treat them is super important to me, and if for some reason I don’t think I’d be able to support your pet in their needs I’ll let you know right away so you can find a more appropriate sitter.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for over 15 years, including my own Rottweiler who was born in 2013. About: I have a large home with a big yard. Dogs I sit will have free range of entire home. They will be spoiled, loved and cared for like they are at home. Dogs are my passion. I've owned dogs my entire life but don't have any now as I lost mine to cancer 3 years ago. I have a grass area and a large concrete area to play fetch or if you like I can come to your place. I am very active so I can run around with your dog, go on hikes or we can lay on my sofa and cuddle whatever your dog prefers. I Love Dogs!!!! Pick up time is 11 a.m., if you prefer to pick up your dog later than 11 a.m. please book an additional day. Please adhere to the agreed drop off and pick up time. Thank you.
