“Carolina did an amazing job with my pup. She’s played with him as well as fed him. She also made sure that I was updated and communicated very well with me. I definitely recommend her and will definitely hire her again for Koda.”
About: Hi! My name is Emily and I am a long time animal lover! History: Growing up my family had numerous pets ranging from cats and dogs to lizards and fish. I have been around many animals my whole life big and small. I have experience with bigger breeds like dobermans and boxers and smaller breeds as well like dachshunds and shih tzu’s. I have no preference big or small, each has their own unique personality that I love! Current friends: I currently have two cats and one bearded dragon. About two years ago there was the cutest cat in my backyard and I went to give her some food. When I did this I noticed how much she kept eating and soon realized she was pregnant. It broke my heart to see her out in the cold during the rainy season and knew I had to bring her in. Fast forward I helped her deliver and raise 7 kittens! I ended up keeping one boy named Patrick and found good homes for the rest! My bearded dragons name is Gucci and I have had her for around 5 years. The cats are so very fascinated with her and love when she comes out! I currently have a very flexible schedule. I go to school and work part time. Due to summer break my schedule has freed up greatly. I have a part time job where I mostly choose my own hours which allows me to be very flexible! I am very loving and patient when it comes to animals. I have lots of experience rescuing animals from the streets and with this I have learned to be extremely patient and caring. Not every animal is quick to warm up and I have learned to work with that! Most of the animals I have experience with are rescues from the streets and some tend to be a little spicier than others. Regardless I love and care for them all the same!
About: Hi!! I have taken care of dogs and cats of all ages. I am new to rover but have been working with animals for several years- this includes walks, dog training and belly rubs! Giving medications, doing their physical therapy exercises for seniors I can help with it all. Scroll through my gallery to meet my references!! I work a flexible schedule (I’m a Medical Device Engineer), so just shoot me a message and we can work something out. I am super outdoorsy so I go on a lot of walks and hikes..I know all the local trails. I also have a bunch of fun puzzles and other brain games for puppies that can’t leave home. Shoot me a message we can work out the best care plan for your pets. I carry my treat pouch on all visit, will have treats and poop bags. I also rock climb so my upper body strength is right up there to keep your excited puppies safe and while letting them explore. I love sniffaris . I’m also an expert hiding medications just right to get your babies to take them willingly! I can read body language and will always maintain communication with you!
“Doug has been the best dog Walker so far for Ollie! But today we found out Doug is also the best dog sitter! He came over and cared for and played and fed for Ollie while we were out for the day. We feel so safe have Doug care for our sweet Ollie!”

“Andrea was amazing with our two kitties! So communicative, always sent us photo and video updates, and the cats loved her. I would love to have her back to watch them again.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs in my life. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to feed, walk, bathe, and play with their dogs. I currently own a golden retriever who is downright spoiled! I also love cats! I recently rescued a kitty after the passing of our other cat, that is super energetic and lovable. My dream is to one day own enough land to rescue and foster several dogs, cats, goats, and chickens! I work remotely and my job is very flexible, so I can be very accommodating to your schedule! I’m also a very active person, so I’d love to take your dog out for a walk or even a run if they enjoy that! I’m very responsible. I’ve owned my own dog for 5 years and grew up with 3 dogs in my family that I was responsible for caring for in some capacity. I also own a cat, so I’m very familiar cleaning the litter, feeding, and even administering medications. I understand how stressful it is leaving your animals (I get very anxious myself), so I am happy to flood your phone with pictures to ensure your baby is well taken care of :)
“Yichen provided the most attentive care to my senior CKD cat and I had my absolute full faith in her to check in daily and provide her subcutaneous fluids while I was gone. Thank you so much for being so caring and considerate, Yichen!”

About: Hi, my name is Michelle. Over the years I’ve raised and trained many of my own pets and regularly dog sit for all of my family. I currently have one dog, a Rat Terrier named Memo. He is high energy but he's a happy boy and has the best temperament. For housesitting, please be advised that I will be bringing Memo to stay with me at your home. If you want to see more of my cutie, check out his bio. I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds, from playful puppies who need extra attention and playtime to older dogs who just need a slower pace and a little extra patience. I’m comfortable managing multiple dogs of all sizes. That includes 'pullers' and/or dog reactive from my experience walking dogs at shelters. Here are a few things I’m happy to help with: • Walks, playtime, and activities that keep your dog active and engaged • Puppy guidance and reinforcement of training routines if requested • Patient care for senior dogs or pets with special needs (including administering medications) • Flexible scheduling when possible • Pick up/Drop off within 5 miles of my house. (Main & Civic Center in Santa Ana) • Grooming (only the basics: bathing, drying, brushing.) Price depends on size and length of fur. Sorry, no nail trims. • Dependable care with the same love and attention I give my own dog. (Snuggling always included!) I'd love to schedule a meet-and-greet to meet you and your pet! I do project based work from home so I'm present and not tied down to a rigid schedule which means I have the time and flexibility to give your pet attention when needed. I have a Rat Terrier who gets a long with all dogs, he loves to play but is pretty respectful of dogs who are not into it. Dogs have free rein of my house. I spend a good amount of time with them outside in the yard, they are never let out without supervision.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for about 8 years now, from bottle feeding kittens to training puppies i have the patience to tend to all there needs. Having patience and love for animals is what it’s all about for me! i’m currently working a full time 11-7 and off every monday and saturday! i would be more than happy to check in on your pets making sure they have water, food, etc. and depending on my schedule taking them out on walks, playing, etc. Caring for pets in clients home is very easy, making sure nothing is left open, following directions of client, and being respectful of the house following any rule set by owner.
About: I’m the friend who always gets the "can you watch my dog?" call because I’ve been around pups of all shapes and sizes since I was five. That lifetime of experience means I’m just as comfortable keeping up with a rambunctious puppy as I am providing a calm, gentle environment for a sweet senior who needs a little extra patience. Pet care fits perfectly into my active lifestyle. My days already revolve around long walks and staying moving, so your pup becomes my dedicated plus-one for every adventure. My schedule is flexible, and when I’m with your pet, they are my main priority—I treat their routine with the same care and focus I give my own. I treat your home and your pet with the same respect I’d want for my own. Whether we're hanging out at my place or yours, I focus on creating a secure, "paws-on" environment where routines are followed strictly so your pet feels safe. I’m all about clear updates and total transparency, so you can relax knowing they’re in good, experienced hands.
“Ella, I can’t thank you enough for coming in to play with Frida and make sure she was taken care of. I just got back to a happy and clean home. Thank you! We will definitely coordinate again to have you come be with Frida.”

“Andrew is an absolutely amazing sitter. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for him and how kind, flexible, and caring he was. My two kitties loved him too! 10/10 recommend to everyone.”

About: ~Trying to save money for my wedding~ What sets me apart is the level of personal attention I give every dog. I don’t just “watch” pets — I make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, personalities, and little details so your dog feels at home, not stressed. I’m also the go-to person in my family and friend group for pet sitting, because they know their dogs are always in caring, reliable hands with me. From elderly dogs to young and active dogs, I adapt to each pet’s energy level and needs. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work full-time from home, which allows me to give dogs consistent attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I live in an apartment complex with great walking areas, and I know many owners can’t always get home during the day for walks — I’m happy to take that off your plate. I’m available for drop-ins and quick daytime walks, making sure your dog gets exercise, bathroom breaks, and some extra love when you can’t be there. I understand how busy life can get, and I’m here to help make things easier while keeping your pet happy and cared for. In my home, your pet will be in a calm, comfortable environment with lots of supervision since I work from home. I have a small, low-energy senior dog who mostly relaxes on the couch during the day. He can be kept separate in another room if needed, depending on your dog’s comfort level and personality. I also have a small patio space and take dogs on regular walks around the neighborhood or apartment complex for exercise, fresh air, and bathroom breaks. I always prioritize safety, gentle introductions, and making sure each dog feels secure and at ease.

I will be on the lookout for your pet and our surroundings when we are out on walks.
“I very pleased with Elizabeth’s kindness and attentiveness! I am beyond neurotic when it comes to my fur babies lol and I have incredibly high expectation of their care and safety - They are my children. I found Elizabeth’s profile and although it’s always nerve wracking to entrust someone with your “kids” you just met, I had a good feeling about her in our messages. we arranged a meet and greet prior to our first Christmas Day evening visit and she was just wonderful. She listened closely to their routine at our meet and greet, and was very sweet and personable. She sent many photos during their Christmas Day visit which is always appreciated; She coaxed our pup who is a picky eater to eat more of his dinner which was a win and our very shy young cat even came out to say hi to her which never happens! I had notated in their care notes to stay in well lit areas on the walk with our pup due to coyotes and I could tell from the photos and map in rover she did exactly that- It means the world that she paid attention and customized their visit with our requests. I can tell She has a kind heart for animals and I am grateful we found her. We came home that night to two happy, well fed and content babies- already planning their next visit with her in January. Thank you Elizabeth!”

Mid-City pet parents share their Rover experiences
Andrew was wonderful. He kept us informed and updated on our 2 kitties every visit. He paid attention to details and did everything we asked him to do, and beyond. Our scaredy cat was even okay with his visits. If we were to need a cat sitter again Andrew would be by first and most favored choice. Our house, cats, and peace of mind were safe and at ease because of Andrew...I highly recommend his services.

Anna has done drop ins for us for Over three years. She my 2 cats just like if they were hers. Anyone can change litter , top off water , put food in the bowl, but Anna , even from the very first visit, goes miles beyond that. Spends quality time loving on your pets, thorough post visit reviews, plenty of pictures and that special connection is able to make , Thanks Anna

I’ve used Rover several times for visits while I’m away. They have all been good, really good. Still, Yichen is a standout. My 2 cats instantly liked her. Yichen’s pics and updates each day gave me so much confidence, that they are in good hands. Yichen is very knowledgeable, caring, and respectful. Thank you Yichen !!

Krystal did an amazing job taking care of Mushu and Mighty Mouse! She kept me updated with pictures, spent quality time playing with them, and made sure their litter boxes were always fresh and clean. It gave me such peace of mind knowing they were in such caring hands. Highly recommend!

Mable is the cat whisperer! I am so please with Mable and am happy to have found a trustworthy person who can check in on my very shy sensitive senior cat when I’m away. My cat actually came out to say hi to her and even ate in front of her (which is extremely rare). Mable provided a detailed report and many photos of my cat when I was away which was sooo sweet and unexpected. I highly recommend Mable and I will definitely be booking with her again.
