“Toni swooped in at the last minute when another Sitter backed out on me! During the meet and greet, she got right down on the floor with Pucca to meet her and play with her. Pucca absolutely loves her! I could tell by the way Pucca got majorly excited and happy when Toni came back for a visit today to pick up a couple of things that were accidentally left behind. Pucca was so happy to see her that I'm convinced she was treated well and with love and affection. I was away for 8 days. Toni arrived on time and I was able to get an early visit start so that I could make it to the airport on time. When my friend's truck broke down and I thought I may be later than expected arriving home, she had no problem with it. (I was on time though). She even said she didn't mind taking Pucca to my Vet to get her Citopoint shot and glands done. (I was going to get an appointment when I got home, now I don't have to). With my permission, she took Pucca along with her to her place when she went home to do laundry. When I asked for a Video Chat here and there, I was accommodated. It is my opinion that Pucca was well loved, cared for and looked after while I was away. ***NOTE*** Upon my return, I found a typwritten "Toni's Care Notes for Pucca" stating her eating habits, walk schedule & health. Nice touch.”

About: Growing up, my dad was allergic to anything with fur. Therefore, I had lizards, fish, birds and every stuffed animal under the sun. I always jumped at the opportunity to spend time with neighbor pets and would beg to give the dogs a bath (my neighbors loved me lol). At the age of 10 I got my first horse (who I still have, 16 years later) and at the age of 14 I got my first dog. He was a Catahoula named Kyser, and he was anything but easy! I lived out of state for 2 years, and during that time I worked at a veterinary clinic and did pet sitting for clients. I miss it! I work M-F 8am-4pm, so I am only available weekends for boarding (potential for weekdays depending on the dog/situation). I am available after work for drop ins or walks! I have a fenced yard with a large male dog named Ozzy. He loves little dogs and female large dogs. He is a bit standoffish with other large males so I am unable to watch them. I would rather play it safe. I would NEVER leave the dogs together unattended. Ozzy is crate trained and has his own room so stepping out of the house would not be an issue.

Our pet's feeding and housing situation is a little complicated and Lexie handled it all in stride. While we were away we received MANY :-) updates and photos of our pets. Our little pack loved Lexie, and I think they may have been just a wee bit spoiled with all the loving they got over the weekend. Crystal took amazing care of my newly adopted dog, Ziggy, and my two cats while I was away. She did such a great job with them, and it was obvious they all loved her. I also really appreciated that when I got delayed getting back into town because of traffic, she came back out again to make sure Ziggy got dinner and could get out since I was going to be home pretty late. That meant a lot and was truly above and beyond. She’s awesome, super dependable, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!
Deana gave my reactive dog a chance back when I told her his challenging history. She started walking him with no issues. He loved her! At some point, she couldn’t walk him anymore, but I’ve called upon her several times for dog sits. The more recent one went longer than anticipated due to some travel delays and she was able to move things around to accommodate. I feel very fortunate that she was able to be flexible with that, because I know she’s usually pretty booked up. She went above and beyond and I’m very grateful for her professionalism and willingness to look after our complicated dog. Definitely would recommend!
