Hi there! My name is Deana, I worked in Veterinary medicine for 15 years. Mostly with dog and cats, I spent two years working emergency exotic medicine. I am very comfortable and confident in my skills as an animal caregiver. If you have a senior pet, young pup or a pet that is on daily medication, SQ fluids or injections. I am your girl! During my career in medicine I would regularly offer pet sitting to my clients. It was a really amazing way to get to connect with my patients. They definitely felt like my babies too! I would say I've been professionally pet and house sitting for over 15 years.

Trust is a major factor in the relationship I create with animals. Over the years I have really honed in how I interact with them. It is a second nature to me now. The tones in my voice, to the language and communication I use. I read their body language so quickly. I joke with friends that I "speak" animal. I just understand them. Especially the canine and feline species.

Deana gave my reactive dog a chance back when I told her his challenging history. She started walking him with no issues. He loved her! At some point, she couldn’t walk him anymore, but I’ve called upon her several times for dog sits. The more recent one went longer than anticipated due to some travel delays and she was able to move things around to accommodate. I feel very fortunate that she was able to be flexible with that, because I know she’s usually pretty booked up. She went above and beyond and I’m very grateful for her professionalism and willingness to look after our complicated dog. Definitely would recommend!
Awesome sitter for our 3 weirdo cats! She can even get our grumpy guy to take his medicine! Highly recommend!

Deana did a great job with my 3 cats-all different with different needs. She really is a "Cat Whisperer" because my usually shy cat who is rarely seen by visitors came out to play and even get a belly rub!. She was also able to give this same cat her oral medicine daily. What a relief. All the details from first communication, to meet and greet to care of kitties, daily updates and a clean house to return to, were great! It was a pleasure meeting Deana and would highly recommend her services!

I make my schedule, it is really flexible. I am looking to fill it up with some pet jobs. I have a car and am available during the day.
