Safety, trust & environment
My German Shepard is no longer in the house with us so other dogs and cats welcome! I would prefer to care for dogs in a clients home due to my living arrangement but acceptions can be made on a case by case basis
Information Grace C. would like to know about your pet
it’s important to know their daily routine, feeding schedule, and any medical needs, including medications, allergies, or vet contact information. You should understand their behavior and temperament—how they interact with people, other animals, and new environments, as well as any triggers like anxiety, reactivity, or fear of certain noises. It’s also helpful to know their exercise needs, favorite activities, and any training rules the owner wants followed (like furniture boundaries or commands). For safety, make sure you know where supplies are kept, emergency contacts, and any house rules such as leash requirements or whether they can be left alone
A typical day
I like to keep things fun, balanced, and engaging by mixing active play, mental stimulation, and calm bonding time. I’ll do things like play fetch, go on walks with plenty of sniffing, or have a little tug-of-war to burn energy, along with simple games like hide-and-seek or basic training to keep their mind engaged. I also make sure to include downtime with cuddles, brushing, or just relaxing together so they feel comfortable and cared for. I love taking cute photos or videos to share updates with owners, so they can see their pet is happy, active, and in good hands.

Reviews

I think we were Grace's first customer on Rover and she did a great job housesitting and taking care of our boys. She sent updates and photos each day and was very good about communicating with us if she had to leave the house. We will be using her again in the future.
