“Jocelyn was wonderful! She was very responsive and provided updates and photos every day. Our kitties were well taken care of, which gave us peace of mind while we were gone. We would definitely have Jocelyn care for them again!”
About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and ages for several years. Pet sitting is a responsibility that I take seriously. I will care for your pet in the same capacity of caring for my own! I’m a full time graduate student. I am free during the evenings Sunday-Friday and additionally midday Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I am available anytime on Saturdays. I work best when families tell me what to do with their pets! I follow directions precisely and will not leave you guessing what your pet is up to. I cannot keep pets at my house, but I am willing to house sit if/when necessary.
“I recommend Sylvia for anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter. She kept me updated with photos and followed all of my instructions perfectly. It gave me great peace of mind knowing my cats were in such caring hands while I was away.”

“Sammi did a great job watching my cat. She kept me updated daily and sent pictures. I definitely recommend her for your pet sitting needs and will be asking her to watch my cat next time I'm out of town.”

About: Lifelong dog owner in my mid-30s with lots of experience caring for large breed dogs. I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. A tired dog is a good dog :) I’m reliable, calm and use positive reinforcement (treats for the food-motivated pups!). I work from home, so I am flexible for drop-ins, last-minute needs, or regular walks, and can give your dog consistent companionship…and some fun! Rain or shine, I am happy to take them out. I prioritize safety and clear communication to create a comfortable experience for you and your dog. Every dog is different, so I adapt to their personality, but will never use domineering approaches.
About: I've had animals of all sorts all of my life. Dogs, cats, lizards, snakes and other types. I grew up on a farm, and have worked with many types of animals of all sizes. Right now I'm free anytime to help you with your needs. More than happy to help with any animals you have and for however long you need a hand. I will follow your instructions to the t. We have 2 dogs, and three cats in our house. We try to play with and keep them all happy as each of them have different personalities.
About: I have experience caring for my own dog and cats and understand how important routine, safety, and attention are. I’m especially comfortable with small dogs and pets that may need a little extra patience or reassurance. I’m very detail-oriented, follow instructions closely, and adjust to each pet’s personality. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own and focus on making them feel comfortable and cared for. I work mostly from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide care throughout the day. I’m able to accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits, and I can adjust my routine as needed to fit your pet’s schedule. Because I’m home-based, I’m also able to give pets consistent attention and not leave them alone for long periods. I’m reliable, responsive, and make pet care a priority in my daily routine. I focus on keeping pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, potty breaks, and any specific needs. For walks, I prioritize safety with secure leashing and awareness of surroundings, and I adjust based on each dog’s energy level and comfort. I also make sure pets get attention and care during each visit, and I provide updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing.
“Pam took excellent care of our kitties- I could even say we returned to find our home and fur babies in better condition than we left them! She made sure our grouchy old lady always ate and was brushed, and she spent time to try and bond with her too. Pam kept their boxes spotless and entertained our two younger heathens with treats and brushing every day. Everyone’s fur is soft and clean and they all are well fed and seemed happy and calm when we returned! No urgent “where have you BEEN” meows like usual when we leave them for a shorter time! Pam even suggested that she put music on the radio for them and did and I think they really liked it! Overall excellent to over the top care provided for our furry family and respect for our home too despite the icy treacherous conditions of our driveway!!”

About: I am currently a college student studying zoo and wildlife biology, and I hope to have a career in either wildlife rehabilitation or working at a zoo. I have a good amount of experience with animals; I have been around animals my whole life, my grandfather was a veterinarian, and I have been pet sitting since high school. I also worked as a kennel attendant at Augusta Valley Animal Hospital. I currently volunteer at the Humane Society and have at the SPCA as well, walking dogs and performing other tasks. I am hoping to do some pet care over the summer to earn some money and get some more experience. I will be doing an internship 3 times a week, so I am only available 4 days a week. I live a little bit out in the country, so we have some land and a private and safe road for walks. There is very little traffic, so it is a peaceful area. I have not yet hosted a client's pet in my home, but I have a lot of experience and can follow detailed instructions for your pet to provide them with the best care.
About: I’ve had experience with helping with puppies and other ages of dogs. I personally have a cat of my own and I’ve had 4 years of experience with cats. I am currently working 35-40 hours a week and I am mostly free in the afternoons and evening. I am completely free on Sundays too! I follow the care instructions outlined by the owner and treat the pets with so much love. I can play with the pets as needed!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs from a young age. I would dog sit neighbors dogs for weeks, by taking the dogs out to potty, giving cuddles and giving them attention! I currently work full-time as a Certified Medical Assistant at UVA Health in a pediatric specialty clinic, primarily in Hematology/Oncology. While my schedule during the week can be busy, I am available in the evenings and on weekends and am very reliable when I commit to pet care. I truly enjoy caring for others—whether that’s my patients or your pets—and would love to spend my free time giving your pet lots of attention and love! I live in a home, but I am very comfortable caring for pets in a client’s home where they feel most comfortable. Working in healthcare, I am extremely attentive, responsible, and detail-oriented, and I will treat your pet with the same level of care and compassion I give my patients. Your pet’s safety, routine, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I will make sure they feel loved and well cared for at all times.
