Hi! My name is Ellie and I am a dog person. I grew up around big dogs, and have had years of experience taking care of other's animals as well. I grew up with cats and I love taking care of cats too! I currently have 2 rescue dogs that are like my kiddos. I have had experience administering medication, vast puppy experience, and senior dog experience as well. I can promise a nurturing, loving environment and I treat all dogs in my care like they are my own. We have a dog-friendly fully fenced backyard, as well as a walkable neighborhood for daily walks. Both of my dogs are friendly to dogs and people and love to meet new friends. Ellie is one of the most responsible, organized and compassionate people I have ever known. And she absolutely LOVES dogs! She and her husband have two of their own and are on the verge of adopting a Saint Bernard they've been fostering through a rescue organization. They bought a home in Colorado Springs in lieu of renting, in part, because they wanted to more easily expand their "fur family." She is seeking part-time employment so that she can devote the hours necessary to successfully complete her Masters in Social Work. She is an amazing human with a great big heart for all animals, especially those of the canine variety.

A typical day
I have a couple of favorite walks I love in the area where your dog can stretch their legs and enjoy new smells. I also love tug of war, playing fetch, and snuggling on the couch! I will meet your dog wherever their activity level is.

Availability
I work full-time, with a mostly flexible schedule that is some work from home, and some at the office. With enough advance notice, I can make almost any time work for walks or drop ins. I will do my best to accommodate my schedule but it’s not always possible and some days I have to be in meetings all day, or be travelling the area for work. I almost never work before 8/8:30 or after 5/5:30 and I guarantee availability in the earlier morning and after work hours daily.
