I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

“Kathryn was my Cat sitter for six days recently when I was out of state. I have an old cat with a lot of needs and takes medicine and I was worried about leaving her because she hadn’t done well before with other Pet Sitter‘s but with Kathryn it was amazing. She is so knowledgeable and kind and kept me informed everything and the best part is that when I returned, my cat was doing well. She made sure our grouchy old lady always ate and was brushed, and she spent time to try and bond with her too. Pam kept their boxes spotless and entertained our two younger heathens with treats and brushing every day. Everyone’s fur is soft and clean and they all are well fed and seemed happy and calm when we returned! No urgent “where have you BEEN” meows like usual when we leave them for a shorter time! Pam even suggested that she put music on the radio for them and did and I think they really liked it! Overall excellent to over the top care provided for our furry family and respect for our home too despite the icy treacherous conditions of our driveway!!”

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. About: I absolutely love animals and have had them through out my entire life. I have experience from working at “Dogtopia” to “Home away from home, dog boarding”. I understand the importance of family and would love to be your dogs next best friend! I have experience providing care for a variety of animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring health. I am familiar with cleaning and sanitizing animal housing and equipment, and can recognize signs of illness or distress. By feeding, walks, and playtime—with my personal habits like breakfast, exercise, and evening relaxation it helps to create a consistent, healthy routine. My successful routine with my 12 year old senior terrier includes early morning engagement to set a positive tone, scheduled midday breaks or mental stimulation to combat boredom, and structured evening bonding that eases stress. I have a 12 year old friendly Emotional support animal named Flower, who still loves to run and play. I also live close to the park, and have a crate if needed.

I currently have a rescue Saint Bernard named Winnie. I have had experience administering medication, vast puppy experience, and senior dog experience as well. I can promise a nurturing, loving environment and I treat all dogs in my care like they are my own. We have a dog-friendly fully fenced backyard, as well as a walkable neighborhood for daily walks. I currently have 6 chickens as well in a fully enclosed run and coop. If you have chickens that need caring, I am happy to provide that service as well! If your dog is staying at our home, I will ask that they are not aggressive and try to go after the chickens in their run. - Large fenced in backyard for playtime - Flexible and understanding service offerings - Comfortable with specific care requests I'm currently a full-time stay at home parent with a toddler and a baby. My schedule is relatively flexible, as long as I can bring my kids with me. For that reason, I will only be accepting clients that have child-friendly animals. My baby will be in a carrier and I will have my toddler in a stroller. I will not interact with your pup or kitty unless given explicit permission. I am open to weekends and holidays as well! I treat anyone’s home I am working in with respect, and make sure to “leave no trace” as much as it’s possible. I am happy to accommodate other household tasks during my visits/stays, including trash and mail.
About: I’ve been dog sitting/house sitting for 12+ years. I’ve taken care of puppies, all the way to senior dogs! Over the years I’ve taken care of all sorts of breeds; Rottweiler, Golden Retriever, Curly Coated Retriever, Labs, Shelties, Greyhounds, Vizsla, Chihuahua, Dachshund and Doodles the list goes on! About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I have raised 2 cats and 3 dogs from babies but have been around numerous animals. I currently have a mastador so no dog is too big 🙂 I will love your babies like my own while you’re not around to. I’m working full time on a rotating shift so I will be caring for pets on my off days, this will leave availability open for visits all day. I will care for your pets as instructed in your home. About: I have over 2 years of dog walking/sitting experience for a company and I have also cared for family, friends, and neighbors pets over the years. I’m an elementary teacher so I am very available throughout the week over the summer. I am available at any time of the day for walks and am willing to board dogs. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
