“Megan was available last minute after having trouble getting a sitter. She kept us updated with pictures everyday. Our boy came back happy & tired. I will be using her again in the future! Thank you!”

“Tara was absolutely amazing! She was extremely accommodating and took wonderful care of our 2 cocker spaniels. Plus, they love her as well! We are definitely repeat customers now! I highly recommend her. Thank you so much, Tara!”

“Britney and her family took such great care of Homer. They loved him like their own. Britney is very communicative and flexible. Homer enjoyed playing with their dogs and sweet children. I will definitely board with Britney again.”

“Shawna was great with Ollie. He can be a nervous dog when away from his mama, but Shawna reassured me with texts and pics/video that Ollie was doing ok! I really appreciated her willingness to help me out on pretty short notice.”

“Andre and her family did a fantastic job caring for our mini bernedoodle! Andre was prompt with all communication and scheduling was easy. Her home is welcoming and Biscotti really enjoyed playing with their sweet lab and snuggling her kids. We could tell Biscotti was well-cared for when we brought her back home- she was calm and happy and jumped right back into our family routines- like she had a great vacation too! Thanks, Andre and fam! We’ll definitely book with Andre again.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds! I have experience with mediation management and administration and am comfortable caring for medically complex or senior pets :) I work full time but do work from home about 75% of the time at least so I am home most of the day to care for your pets! I have two friendly dogs and two dog-savvy cats who get along with everyone! I can easily crate or separate animals into separate spaces in my home if the need arises
“Grateful for a flexible boarding experience things came up the day before boarding and after speaking with Dara she was willing to be flexible with me and make things work. Enjoyed the picture updates and knew my pup was in good hands. Thank you definitely will rebook in the future. (:”

“Heather is an amazing sitter! We got picture updates everyday and was fast responding. Whe. When we had issues getting back home, she was completely understanding and was flexible with how much our plans had changed. I will be booking with her from now on!”

“Garrett was fantastic with our dog, Bailey! He took her to the dog park, gave her a bath, and kept us updated with daily photos and videos. His communication was great, and it was clear he genuinely cared about Bailey. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely book with Garrett again! Highly recommend!!”

“Kashawna was kind, responsive, loving, and exactly what my four legged kid needed! Our baby is high maintenance with insulin twice a day, pain meds once a day, and snuggles all day. Kashawna and her family loved on her and took great care of her while I was on vacation. 10/10 recommend!”

“Julie is amazing! Very compassionate with my senior dog. I think Piper would move in with her if it was an option. Loved the communication and pictures throughout the stay. Will definitely book again! Thank you!”

“Hayley took great care of Henry while my husband and I were out of town for a few days! She even gave him a bath before sending him home with us because he got quite dirty while playing. If you need someone to watch and care for your pup, I highly recommend Hayley!”

“Our dog Tulla had a great time at Ben's house and playing with his dog. They have a nice backyard for outside play. Ben was very responsive to our questions and sent us pictures and updates. Ben was very accommodating and flexible with the drop off and pick up times, which made our time away stress free.”

“Julia and her family are the most compassionate and caring people I've ever had care for my boy. My dog, Apollo, no doubt had all the love and attention in the world during his 5 day stay with them. He has separation anxiety and was a handful for the last couple days of his visit, but Julia was incredibly understanding, loving, and comforting toward him until it was time for him to come home. And she communicated with me about it in a very open, straightforward manner. There's no one better!”

“It was the first time I had left my 2 beloved dogs anywhere, and I was so lucky to have found Jen. She was always sending me updates and pictures and was very patient with my anxiety about leaving them for a whole week. They were free to roam about the house and loved the enclosed porch. They received a lot of love and attention and I will definitely be taking them back!”

“Chino was well taken care of while I was away. Chino is shy and when I picked her up she did not seem shy at all with them, especially with Shannon's lovely daughter. I would recommend her and she also has a privacy fence surrounding her backyard, which put me at ease also.I would definitely ask for her services again!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
