“We did a meet up beforehand to ensure My sweet baby would be ok and he absolutely loved her from the start right away leaned over to get pets which assured me I was putting him in the right hands. She’s very understanding and has great communication. Sent pictures throughout the day which put me at ease. Very pleased. Highly recommend. ?”

“Megan is awesome. Great communication & moose loved playing and running in their yard. My first time leaving him with anyone and I felt assured he was in great hands. Definitely recommend”

“My babies absolutely loved her! My Maxx requires a complex medicine routine to include insulin shots, treatment for glaucoma, blindness and vestibular disease and a strict feeding routine. She handled it like a champ in addition to caring for my Lady Poo too. My go to person from now on!”

“Jen and her family took fantastic care of our senior dog. Her communication before and during his stay was top notch and greatly appreciated. Would highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Our recent stay for Sam with Madison was our first time using the Rover app. Wow! We could not have asked for more -- it genuinely blew us away how great the experience was! Madison was a tremendous host for Sam -- extremely responsive on the message app; very courtesy and friendly with the drop-off of Sam; provided photos/video and daily recaps of Sam's stay; and was flexible and willing to accommodate us to our convenience on pick-up. Not only have we found the Rover app to be easy to navigate and efficient with the information it provides -- we have found Madison to be an All-Star Sitter, that frankly probably provided better care for Sam than he receives on a weekly basis at home! Genuinely very impressed and appreciative of Madison and the Rover platform.”

“Our doggie had a great time with Cristina and her family as always. Always lots of pictures and action filled days with walks and play time with Cristina’s grandsons. Thank you again!! We will see you in the near future.”

“Thank you Heather for your kind, patient and attentive mannerisms with Levi. I can tell he really enjoyed you and I truly appreciate the pictures and updates of Levi while in your care. I will definitely be contacting you soon for your help. Thank you again.”

“Tara was the best possible sitter Nala could have ? She knows dogs very well, and how to handle 1-2 yr old puppy energy. Tara watched Nala for almost 2 weeks as I was traveling to get married, she sent several pictures and updates along the way which made me feel good knowing Nala was well loved and cared for. Will be using Tara again.”

“Garrett was amazing with my two dogs! We needed a sitter at the last minute and he was very flexible with us allowing us to schedule a quick meet and greet before the booking. It’s worth mentioning that one of my dogs can be a handful at times but Garrett was so patient with him. The communication was frequent all week long (including sending pictures). My dogs got along well with his sweet dog as well. We definitely hope to use his services again!”

“I’m so happy I chose to leave my fur babies with you! I loved getting pictures of them everyday! They keep you informed about your babies, good and bad (but hopefully no bad!). Truly caring people. My poor oldest pup had pancreatitis (which he’s prone to) a few days after we picked them up, before I knew what it was I double checked to see if they noticed anything strange before I picked them up. They were very involved and concerned about the well being of my sweet boy until we figured out what it was! I look forward to continuing boarding services with you. It’s so nice to know your fur babies are being so well taken care of :-)”

“Andrea kindly agreed to board my senior Chihuahua mix on very short notice when I had a sudden dogsitting need arise! She was incredibly warm and professional, and I felt very comfortable leaving Hamlet with her. She texted me pictures and updates during his stay, and when I picked him up, he seemed very relaxed and happy. I would definitely book with Andrea again!”
“Andre and her family did a fantastic job caring for our mini bernedoodle! Andre was prompt with all communication and scheduling was easy. Her home is welcoming and Biscotti really enjoyed playing with their sweet lab and snuggling her kids. We could tell Biscotti was well-cared for when we brought her back home- she was calm and happy and jumped right back into our family routines- like she had a great vacation too! Thanks, Andre and fam! We’ll definitely book with Andre again.”

“Ben was great to give us updates on our dog Yuki as she stayed with him and his family over a weekend. She was well taken care of and it was great to have some peace of mind knowing Yuki was in good hands. I would certainly recommend Ben for anyone needing to have someone look after their pet!”

Many sitters in SC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
