“Andrew was on time and totally respectful. He was very calm with our hyper puppy and did a great job of letting the pup come/warm up to him. We had a few requests (sitting at sidewalks and heeling by people) that make walking the pup a little more work. Andrew was more than happy to work with all of our requests. Definitely recommend!”

About: Hi! My name’s Misa and I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. Once my family got our first dog when I was 8 years old, we were inseparable. She was my partner in crime~ Now I have a cat of my own and he owns my heart! He’s pretty food motivated so I clicker trained him, and he knows about 10 tricks :D He also has some health issues so I’m familiar with giving cats medication. I recently graduated with my master’s from the UR and I’m still in the process of looking for a job. Which means my schedule is super flexible to hang out with your pet! I’m detail oriented, reliable, and respectful of your space and your pets~ I'm currently on the job hunt after finishing my master's degree so my schedule is very flexible to accommodate drop-ins in the morning or afternoon as well as the evening~ I'll do my best to adhere to your pet's normal routine and of course be respectful of their boundaries. I'll follow any instructions given and reach out if any further clarification is needed!

About: Hi! My Name is Sam I’ve had pets my entire life and for the last four years, I’ve started caring for others I recently just joined Rover and am excited to be able to help care for more animals while their families are away. I have experience caring for puppies, dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. Growing up, I had a Pitbull, German Shepherd, and a Chihuahua. My top priority is their comfort: and we can discuss that in detail so you know your and their needs will be met.

“Barbara has been a blessing to me and my golden retriever. My mom passed away about a month ago and she watched over the dog while I was at work so I was in a situation where if I couldn’t create a life for my dog during the hours I’m away from home I would have to think of giving her up and that would have been devastating. Barbara agreed to come out twice a day to take care of Cassidy and she has been the most dependable, caring, and compassionate person to my beloved dog. She was so patient with Cassidy, she was going through a big adjustment with the loss of my mom. Barbara truly spent a lot of time establishing a bond with her and slowly they have developed a nice routine of playing in the backyard. They relax in the sun, play ball and with all her toys. I am very thankful to Barbara for the dependability, her caring nature and the smile on my dog each day I come home let’s me know I chose the right service and the perfect person to care after my dog. Thank you Barbara!”

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of pets! My family owned an English Mastiff breeding and showing business. We had 5 mastiffs and they were all my best friends. I also had 4 cats. I’ve always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I’ve watched all different animals of different sizes, ages, and needs. I will be happy to send updates and pictures! I’ve recently lost my old dog (Rex) that I cared for and I miss having pets around. My happiest self comes out when I’m with animals! Feel free to contact me with any questions at any time! I’m available on the weekends now for boarding and drop-in visits since I work full time Monday-Friday. I can do some drop-ins and walks on weekday early mornings and evenings as well! My home has a fenced in yard, mounted food and water bowls, a dog bed, dog gates on every stairwell, and I even have extra dog food. There are stairs to get into my house, but I used to carry my old mastiff up and down them so it should be no problem for me.

Alex M.Star Sitter
“Regarding Alex M: I've known Alex forever and can vouch for his sincerity, professionalism, thoughtfulness and care of others (with either 2 or 4 legs). My son was a dog-walker / caregiver so I understand the responsibility of caring for a pet that is a 'family member' to his clients. I cannot think of a better person to allow my pet or anyone else's into his care. I believe Alex would be a tremendous asset to Rover.com and very highly recommend him to your company and to your clients. He's just the best.”
