I don’t force interaction; I let pets settle in and I build trust first, especially with cats. I provide attention and affection when they want it, and I watch closely for cues (hunger, stress, overstimulation, fatigue). I follow all instructions precisely such as feeding, fresh water, litter maintenance, walks/potty breaks, play/enrichment, and any special notes.
