About: I used to have a successful pet-sitting business where dogs could stay at my house overnight, instead of being stuck in overnight kennels. I had regular clients, but had to end it because I was in high school and doing other extracurricular activities. I've had dogs since I was a small child. They are my family and I would do anything for them. Knowing how much my dogs mean to me, I will treat other's dogs like I would my own. My schedule is very flexible and I have reliable transportation. I think it's very important to make sure dogs are comfortable, happy, and given the care each individual dog requires. Having the opportunity to work with dogs would be something I would love to do- it wouldn't feel like work.
About: I've always loved our furry friends: wether sheltering strays for a few days, pet sitting for neighbors, or volunteering at my local shelter I learned each animal has their own personality and temperament but all require some basic needs, like water, food, exercise, mental stimulation, and ofc love! I keep a close eye on pets at all times, never leaving them unsupervised in unfamiliar situations, and I make sure my home is pet-proofed with no hazardous items within reach, and a calm, comfortable space for them to settle in. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and rules, keep the house secure, and make sure doors and gates stay closed so pets can’t slip out. For dogs especially, walks are on a secure leash, and I’m attentive to other animals, traffic, and anything that could startle them. My son knows the same safety rules and never handles a pet without me nearby, so there’s always responsible supervision. I also keep emergency contacts and vet information on hand in case anything unexpected comes up.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
