About: I used to have a successful pet-sitting business where dogs could stay at my house overnight, instead of being stuck in overnight kennels. I had regular clients, but had to end it because I was in high school and doing other extracurricular activities. I've had dogs since I was a small child. They are my family and I would do anything for them. Knowing how much my dogs mean to me, I will treat other's dogs like I would my own. My schedule is very flexible and I have reliable transportation. I think it's very important to make sure dogs are comfortable, happy, and given the care each individual dog requires. Having the opportunity to work with dogs would be something I would love to do- it wouldn't feel like work.

I keep a close eye on pets at all times, never leaving them unsupervised in unfamiliar situations, and I make sure my home is pet-proofed with no hazardous items within reach, and a calm, comfortable space for them to settle in. In a client’s home, I respect their routines and rules, keep the house secure, and make sure doors and gates stay closed so pets can’t slip out. For dogs especially, walks are on a secure leash, and I’m attentive to other animals, traffic, and anything that could startle them. My son knows the same safety rules and never handles a pet without me nearby, so there’s always responsible supervision. I also keep emergency contacts and vet information on hand in case anything unexpected comes up.

About: I am a full time professional in the law enforcement field that offers house sitting and pet sitting to the citizens of Hall County. About: I had three miniature dachshunds until they all eventually passed away from old age. I treated them as if they were children. I am very in tune with an animal’s needs and emotions. Animals that I have never met before, usually take to me right away. When I cared for my father-in-law’s dog for two weeks, he did not want to return home with him….lol. I hate to see any animal suffer or be in danger. I go as far to remove turtles from the road so that they do not get hit and I have tried to save numerous injured birds in the wild. Animals, especially, dogs, provide so much unconditional love. I am a retired law enforcement officer. Thus, I have a lot of availability. I am available Sunday-Saturday 24 hours as long as I am provided at least a short notice. I have a fenced in back yard that I always ensure is securely locked at all times. I would pet proof home ensure no medications or cleaning products, etc are accessible to pets. Also, I would only feed what the owner wanted the pet to be fed.

About: I have owned and cared for pets for my whole life, including cats, dogs, fish and more. When I was growing up my family fostered German and Australian shepherds through K-9 Pet Rescue. I have also raised many litters of kittens and puppies, and ducklings as well! I am a very active person and would love to meet your pets! My schedule is 100% open, 24/7. I work from home and can accommodate any dates or times needed. I am happy to spend the time needed to provide companionship for your pet. I understand the importance of safety and security: indoor cats stay inside and leashed animals remain on leash at all times. I will treat your home and belongings with respect and care.

About: I've always loved our furry friends: wether sheltering strays for a few days, pet sitting for neighbors, or volunteering at my local shelter I learned each animal has their own personality and temperament but all require some basic needs, like water, food, exercise, mental stimulation, and ofc love! Beyond the practical knowledge of walking, feeding, training, and playing with animals I've also had a personal fascination into the minds of animals (LOVE watching dog training videos and reading up on Donna Haraway). About: I’ve personally been interested and training dogs since I was 10. As a young adult I worked at a dog daycare, volunteered at a dog kennel and continued to train and work my personal dogs until I joined the military. I’ve recently become a Certified Full Service Dog trainer as a veteran through the VA. I have experience working with both pet dogs and working dogs. I value integrity and helping improve both the dog and handler for future success. Excited to teach and learn for the community, hopefully expanding after!
