About: I am a full time professional in the law enforcement field that offers house sitting and pet sitting to the citizens of Hall County. Trust that your sweet babies (pets) are in caring and trustworthy hands while you are out and about enjoying your vacation, work trip, etc. I have been pet sitting on an “as needed” basis for approximately 3 years now. References available upon request. Any special requests? Feel free to ask and I will tell you if that is something I can/am willing to do. Rapid response time, generally within a few hours but occasionally within 24 hours depending on my work schedule. If you have any further questions, feel free to send me a message and ask. Thank you for reading this far, have a good day ☺️ I am currently working full-time with Tuesdays as 12 hour work days (8A-8p). Outside of that I do 3-5 workouts a week. I ensure that when I am scheduled to love your animals any other time is spent with them. I have pet sit in 2-3 regular’s homes for the past 8 years and aside from that have done drop-in visits daily for others at their home. Specialty diets, hiding the medications in pill pockets, taking walks, etc - I have done it.
“Mckayle was very attentive to our dogs! She was willing to go above and beyond, kept our house in order and took great care of our boys! We will definitely be reaching out to her in the future if we need a house sitter! Thank you Mckayle for doing an amazing job!”

“Rylee was just what our senior dog, Malibu needed while we were on vacation. She not only understands the importance of a dog being home in familiar surroundings while her family is away. Rylee made sure to maintain Malibu’s routine and gave her a lot of love and attention. She stayed in our home for a week and was so sweet to bring in packages for us and she left the house immaculate. We are very happy with the service provided.”

“Always love using Emily to watch our pup. She is amazing with communication and we can tell she truly loves pet sitting! We have started booking trips around her availability so we can keep getting the best service.”

About: Hi I’m Liz and I absolutely love animals! When I was younger I was always wanting to help out any animal I could find. I grew up with cats and a dog but once I got married my husband was allergic to cats so I never got to own my own cat. But I foster dogs on the side! I don’t work with any agencies, I just help certain life or death situations or senior pups who were denied proper care. I currently own 7 dogs ranging from all ages puppy to senior. I also own what most people call “difficult” breeds Akitas, Shibas, huskies, German Shepherds, Pomeranians, and Samoyed! I have a few puppies in training at my house and would love to share my knowledge of dogs with others! If you have training questions I’d love to help you and get you on the right track! I can’t wait to meet your pup! I’m currently working full time but I get off at 3-4pm each day and I am off Saturday and Sunday. I have a lot of wiggle room and would love to accommodate any way I can! I want to care for your pet in the same manner you do! I want your pet to feel like I am a second care human they are close and comfortable with. I will follow your instructions to a “T” so they aren’t left missing you too much! Right now I will only be offering your home for services but maybe some day mine as well :)

“I can’t say enough good things about Sahara! This was the very first time I left my dogs with someone outside of my immediate family, so I was naturally nervous. From the moment I left for vacation, she made me and my fur babies feel completely at ease. She was caring, reliable, attentive, and treated my dogs like they were her own. Thank you!!!!!!”

About: I used to have a successful pet-sitting business where dogs could stay at my house overnight, instead of being stuck in overnight kennels. I had regular clients, but had to end it because I was in high school and doing other extracurricular activities. I've had dogs since I was a small child. They are my family and I would do anything for them. Knowing how much my dogs mean to me, I will treat other's dogs like I would my own. My schedule is very flexible and I have reliable transportation. I think it's very important to make sure dogs are comfortable, happy, and given the care each individual dog requires. Having the opportunity to work with dogs would be something I would love to do- it wouldn't feel like work.
About: I recently lost my dog of 10 years in March 2026, and I would love to share my love with other lovely fur babies! As a social worker, I know how to care for others, and understand the importance of animals as part of our family and mental well-being, and I treat them as such. I have experience watching all types of pets and experiences with pets who are diabetic or have special medical needs. I'm currently working a flexible job where I am virtual and only come in person a few hours a week. So I can stay the night at your house, or in my own home based on your preference. My flexible schedule makes it easy for me to prioritize your pet when needed. I am open to staying at your house overnight, but I can also stay at my own home based on your preference. I have cared for pets living in a house with a yard and without as well as in an apartment in the city. I know that these environments can make pet care different, so I make sure to keep to scheduled walks, potty breaks, playtime, and outside times consistentently.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Beaver Pond walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Beaver Pond maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Beaver Pond choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
