Bailey is awesome! Just what I needed as I’m going through chemo and needed my pup to get some exercise. She loves River and River loves her! You can tell because River is waiting but the door for her on the days she walks her! Bailey is dependable, mature and obviously loves dogs. She’s updates the app so that I know of any changes or additions (she has permission to keep walking River is she’s still wanting to walk and Bailey has the time!!). Payment is easy and if walked extra it can be automatically added! I’m so glad a friend referred ROVER to me!! I would have never found Bailey -someone we desperately needed right now to keel our pup happy, healthy & tired!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Patricia! She truly went above and beyond while caring for our dogs. When one of our pups got sick, she didn’t just notify us—she actually cooked him rice to help his stomach and even went to her own home to bring back a rug cleaning machine to clean the areas where he had diarrhea. Her kindness and initiative meant the world to us. Her communication was outstanding—we received frequent updates and adorable pictures from all their walks, which really put our hearts at ease and allowed us to fully enjoy our getaway without worry. Patricia is caring, responsible, and treats pets as if they were her own. We would recommend her without hesitation and will absolutely book her again in a heartbeat!

About: Animals have been a big part of my life for many years. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, as well as cats, horses, birds, reptiles, and other farm animals. Having owned dogs ranging from 4 to 125 pounds, I’m comfortable with a wide variety of breeds, temperaments, and care needs. I can administer medications to most dogs and am happy to follow detailed instructions for feeding, exercise, and daily routines. I know how important consistency is for pets, and I work hard to care for them exactly as you would. I love taking photos and sending regular updates, so you’ll know your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of attention while you’re away. My goal is to provide reliable, compassionate care and give you peace of mind. I have recently retired from full-time employment as a teacher. I spend my free time with the animals on my small personal farm and volunteering with Save the Horses Rescue. I prefer to care for pets in their own environments, adhering closely to their regular routines and feeding. Keeping schedules structured minimizes stress for most animals. I understand the importance of a consistent diet, especially when owners are away.

About: I have owned and cared for pets for my whole life, including cats, dogs, fish and more. When I was growing up my family fostered German and Australian shepherds through K-9 Pet Rescue. I have also raised many litters of kittens and puppies, and ducklings as well! I am a very active person and would love to meet your pets! My schedule is 100% open, 24/7. I work from home and can accommodate any dates or times needed. I am happy to spend the time needed to provide companionship for your pet. About: I have been an animal lover since before I can even remember. I was the kid bringing home every stray (including opossum babies). For the past 20 years, that passion has shaped my life. Beyond volunteering for incredible local organizations like Hall County Animal Services, Furkids, and Gwinnett County Shelter, I spent 6 years volunteering with the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) before officially joining their team as a staff member for over a year. Today, my own home is filled with love from my 5 rescue dogs. When I’m not caring for my own pack, I spend 4 hours a day working hands-on with working-line German Shepherds, which has given me deep experience handling strong, high-energy breeds and understanding complex canine behavior. My background also includes working on two farms, so if your home includes chickens, goats, or horses, I can easily manage their daily care, too! Medical & Special Needs Comfort Thanks to my extensive background in shelter operations and animal welfare, I am highly confident and experienced in administering medications. Whether your pet requires oral pills, topical ointments, eye drops, or special dietary tracking, I can safely maintain their medical routines while you are away. I specialize in reliable drop-in visits that keep your pets happy and on their schedule. I am available for: • Early morning check-ins (6:00–6:30 AM) • Mid-day lunch breaks (12:00 PM) • Dinner/late afternoon visits (4:00 PM) • Evening/bedtime visits (8:00 PM) • Weekend and holiday availability I have a long list of local references who trust me implicitly with their animals. I can't wait to meet your furry (or feathered!) family members and give you complete peace of mind while you're away. I am currently taking a break from full time work, so I am available any day of the week. I am home the majority of the day. I am off at 1130am. I have a fenced in yard, and 5 dog friendly pups. I have experience with crating and rotating pups if you would rather keep them separated. I am used to handling multiple dogs.

I’ve worked with many puppies and senior dogs, so I understand their special needs — from extra playtime and training patience to gentle care and comfort. I truly love animals and treat every pet like my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. About: I’ve had all pets from, kittens, puppies, geckos, chameleons, fish, and birds! I love spending time with animals and Id love to spend time with/ take care of yours! 🤍 I have full time availability as a SAHM and would like to devote my time to helping pet owners in the Gainesville and the surrounding areas, to give their fur babies the love and attention they deserve while you take care of your priorities! I have grown up around many animals from kittens, to dogs, to even horses and have been taught the proper way to approach and handle dogs who may be shy, or have a temperament towards new people. I am also very cautious with the temps outside when walking dogs to insure their paws are not burned in the or picking up mud with the unpredictable GA weather. Your babies would we treated as one of my own 🫶🏼

About: I’m a biggg animal lover, a vegan of 10 years, former animal shelter worker & doggy foster mom🤍 a few years ago, I rescued my dog, Blue. Working with trainers for my own dog has deepened my commitment to positive reinforcement and understanding each dog’s unique needs. I’m a full-time registered nurse, so I’m confident administering medications and managing special care routines. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes—from tiny companions to giant breeds—and I take the time to learn each dog’s quirks, preferences, and sensitivities to make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. I live in an apartment with plenty of outdoor time, including long walks and play sessions, and I’m happy to help with feeding, training, and care. I currently only work 3 days a week, so I’m usually free the rest of my days off. I’m pretty flexible on scheduling things if you have any last minute needs. I work night shift, so if your dog is fine being left alone overnight let me know and I can board longer than my listed days! I have a pet cam to keep an eye on them overnight. Dog walking/drop-ins: I can come to your home, feed your pup breakfast/dinner, take them out for a quick potty break, play time, or go on a super long walk to tire them out! I’d love to know your dog’s routine, likes/dislikes, an level of energy! Doggy day care: Your dog can hang with me & mine for the day! Guaranteed fun times, cuddles, walks! I love making my space a welcoming & calm environment. I consider myself active, so if your dog is up for adventures/hikes, let me know! Your dog must be house trained & friendly with other dogs. Boarding: If your dog is being boarded with me, they’ll need to be friendly with other dogs, including my playful pup and occasionally my roommate’s small Shih Tzu-Yorkie mix. They also must be dropped off with a crate. I want to make sure they are safe & happy!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
