About: I have cared for other people's dogs--roommates, friends, neighbors--since childhood, many decades! I've lived with cats, dogs and birds. I said goodbye to my rescue Westie of almost 17 years during 2025, and I’m not ready for another long-term pet commitment yet. I puppy trained her (with trainer) from 4 months and provided senior care for the last few years. I am very patient when meeting new animal souls, allowing them to come to me when they’re ready. I have been taking shelter dogs on Afternoon Adventures and have been successful with helping to train dogs in my care. I am working part time and have a flexible schedule, and now that I'm pet-less, I am available, even on short notice. I have been going on walks/hikes in our beautiful parks (over 2 miles) and would prefer some four-legged company. I am very good at following your instructions, respectful of routines and choices you make, and sensitive to furry companions' needs. I'll send you lots of pics! I will board low-maintenance/energy pets in my home, not puppies or kittens.

“Seanita is absolutely awesome. My pups took to her instantly and she always takes amazing care of them! Even when she wasn’t available for a walk, she went out of her way to help me find another walker for my babies.”

“My dog Rosie, is a big, very strong and high energy Great Dane. Steve does a great job walking her, allowing her to explore and have fun while keeping her under safe control as well. Rosie loves her walks with Steve and even gets excited when she sees his car coming down our street ! Rosie and I will definitely be calling Steve again!”

“I am so grateful for the amazing care Caroline gave my dog! This was their first time meeting, and my dog absolutely loved her. Despite the tricky weather, she was incredibly patient, waiting for the rain to pass so she could still give my dog a proper walk. I truly appreciate how kind, sweet, and thoughtful she was throughout. I couldn’t be happier with my first experience on Rover .. we’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thank you so much!”

About: Cant think of time where I haven’t been around a dog. Growing up there was always dogs in the house. It comes easy to me. For my 2 dogs it starts at 345am with their first walk before I head to the gym. There 2nd walk comes at 8am before I start work then again at 2pm for a quick lunch break and their last 2 walks come at 5 and 930pm before settling down for the night. In between all the walking they’ll get breakfast and dinner and some naps. Meet and greet is important along with getting to know the pets needs and routines. Along with likes and dislikes. Knowing what the pet parents wants and expects from visits or boarding.
About: I was a soldier in my country, I took my dog training course and worked with many breeds. I really like sharing my time with pets and I will take care of them as if they were my own. I work part-time and I want to share my free time with pets and take care of them as if they were my own and pamper them so that they feel good with me until they return home. I have an empty backyard which I could use for the care and much more of your pets with the greatest security and more confidence
“Naeemah is very reliable, presentable, patient, friendly and considerate. My dog and I loved her! I will rebook her as needed and would highly recommend her if you’re in need of service.”
“I just moved to Newark due to a new job and Renee has been a godsend. I have a nervous nelly 60lb dog and had concerns on finding a local dog walker with the right energy to walk him in the very busy streets. I feel very much at peace knowing that my boy is being walked and and being socialized by Renee while I am at work. She built a lovely rapport with him and I am very grateful!!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13. I also used to take care of my friend’s dogs whenever they needed me. To me, those 4 paws babies are more than family, they’re angels on earth! I currently have a full-time job, but I am free the whole morning until 2:00 pm. My sister is home at 4:00 pm from work, so there is always a company in the house. I'm available for booking on weekends day/night so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. Extended Care after 8+hrs fee is $45 I can easily create your dog enough space to feel free and comfortable like home, take them for a walking while keeping them safe in a peaceful area.
“The best dog walker I’ve had yet! My pup can be leash reactive and high energy on walks, and Akshay has handled her wonderfully and cares about her unique personality. Always gives great updates during the day so I know she’s being cared for!”

About: I can share that passion with other dogs and dog owners that need a further assistance with the furry family members. Taking care of various dogs makes it easier to learn their needs and wants and if they are well trained it will be easier to take care of them, In the other hand I have patience and a commanding voice that helps them understand I am in control. Snacks are also available which help me develop trust and a bond in order to contribute to a healthy relationship. I currently work full time but I am at home Monday, Friday, Weeknights after work and Weekends at any time to make sure their needs are taken care of. While taking care of your dogs I prioritize their safety by thoroughly assessing their environment, building trust with both the dog and the owner and providing excellent care

About: As a devoted dog enthusiast, I have accumulated over two decades of expertise in pet care and have been a dog owner for 25 years. My two English cocker spaniels hold a special place in my heart, making them my absolute world, alongside my spaniel before my current two that I had for 17 years, who passed away in 2019. Spaniels hold a special place in my heart. As a remote worker with a highly flexible schedule, I am able to be present with the puppies and dogs regardless of whether it is a weekend or a weekday. Residing in a two-story townhouse, I do not have a backyard, but I do have three balconies. Additionally, there is a park located nearby. I also have two English cocker spaniels, who are siblings, named Parker and Riley. They are friendly and calm after the initial few minutes. Parker and Riley are both six years old, and my husband and I ensure their well-being by keeping them well-groomed. We consistently monitor their eyes, perform regular teeth brushing, and ensure that their paws and nails are in optimal condition.

Lower Clinton Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Temitope is truly exceptional and has been an absolute lifesaver for both me and my dog, Bronco! He is incredibly reliable, consistent, and genuinely loves what he does. A few weeks ago, while I was away, Bronco was having a meltdown and I reached out to Temitope in a moment of stress. Without hesitation, he immediately came over to take Bronco out and help him calm down — above and beyond in every sense. Knowing Bronco is in such caring, capable hands gives me total peace of mind. Temitope has been a complete godsend, and I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and dependable dog walker.
Madeline was awesome. It was a last minute request and I was very nervous. This was my first time using Rover. All I can say Madeline was on time, took great pictures of my baby (Jerzee) and gave me feedback on their interactions. I definitely recommend Madeline and I plan on booking her again.

I had Taylor come walk our dog, Lola, and from the moment they met, Lola gravitated toward her. She immediately felt Taylor’s calm, kind energy , she’s soft-spoken, gentle, and very easy-going. By the time Taylor left, Lola was giving her hugs and kisses! It went so well that I booked her again the very next day for an earlier walk. Taylor was on time, super communicative, and Lola actually cried with excitement when she saw her again. We’re so happy to have potentially found our go-to dog walker!

Jane is great with Luna! She’s very attentive to my instructions and very considerate. Anything I need she’s ready to handle and is just the kindest person and Luna loves her !! I’ve booked Jane for 2 weeks now for dog walking and am happy to say I’m a returning client!

Enyonam was wonderful! This was my first time using a dog walker and I was slightly worried about the process. We were away for a week and wanted to find someone to help out my elderly father in law who was watching my dog. I looked at Enyonam’s profile and booked her. From the moment she picked up Artie, I got pictures and notifications, and it immediately made me feel at ease. I will absolutely book her next time I go away, she is the perfect person to take care of your pup! :-)
