He’s usually very shy, doesn’t warm up to strangers easily, and struggles with separation anxiety. He’s also not the most social when it comes to other animals. But somehow, Angie managed to connect with him. Within just a few days, I could see a shift. He looked relaxed, at ease, and even comfortable hanging around her cats, which is a first. Angie kept me updated every day with photos and videos. I never had to ask—she was always on top of it. I could tell he was happy, healthy, and in good hands. About: I have cared for other people's dogs--roommates, friends, neighbors--since childhood, many decades! I've lived with cats, dogs and birds. I said goodbye to my rescue Westie of almost 17 years during 2025, and I’m not ready for another long-term pet commitment yet. About: Since a child, home has always been made complete with pets, and that is where a genuine love for animals began within me. I’ve been around different breads and ages, from shitzu to pit bull and puppies to seniors, which gave me a broader understanding in the proper care (feeding structure, walking/exercise, pet proofing environments, etc.) and comfort required for each individual pet. My two English cocker spaniels hold a special place in my heart, making them my absolute world, alongside my spaniel before my current two that I had for 17 years, who passed away in 2019. About: I take care of animals since I use to live in the Dominican Republic. I have owned pets since I was very little, you won’t be disappointed. I know it’s hard to leave your best friend with a total stranger sometimes I feel my dog understands me more than my husband and kids do. I know that our pets become part of then family trust me I know. I feel so safe with my dog around. You won’t have to worry about your pet. I’m a stay at home mom but my kids are in school. I have plenty of time to walk your pet and play with them. I’m a very patience person and I know how to respect boundaries. People need to know that pets need there space too. In college I would dog and house sit frequently and in the last 10 years I have had my own dog-one a pitbull who has passed, as well as two beagles.I have cared for dogs of all ages as well as all breeds. About: I’ve had two dogs! My first dog was a Maltese named Rocky. He passed away in 2017 from lymphoma. 💔 Right now, I have a 9-year-old terrier mix named Lila! About: I am an animal-loving, high school science teacher, located in Harrison, NJ (previously in Secaucus, Jersey City and Union City). I welcomed my own puppy home in May 2021 and have plenty of experience taking care of my sisters’ three dogs. I live in a spacious townhouse at a pet-friendly complex that has its own dog park. I’m very good with strict schedules & routines and love taking pictures & videos of my furry friends, so their humans won’t have to worry! I am at work from 7:30am to 4pm every Monday to Friday. I can do check-ins outside of these times. I can board and do doggy daycare only on weekends (starting Friday evening) and my days off, as I do not feel comfortable leaving any animal alone while I’m at work. I am a school teacher, so during the summer, I’ll be home for a majority of the day throughout the week! If I have to leave a pet alone, I will use a pet gate, playpen, or crate as needed so no pet gets into any dangerous situation. For check-ins, I will keep your space as clean as possible, so your pet doesn’t get in any icky situations! I will respect your home and always communicate what I’m doing.

Nicolle updated me every single day on all the activities they were doing with him & included time stamps for the entire day! Pimento went on daily runs, had plenty of potty breaks, I was given meal updates, play time videos and more. They were so incredible, extremely reliable and I’m so thankful Pimento was taken such good care of! It’s obvious how much Nicolle & Ronaldo care for the dogs they watch as if they were their own.
